30 - 40 379 yards 2 tds passing 1 rushing, 75% completion percentage.

if we lose tho, yea for sure no heisman, no ranking next week and no BCS

10-10 game late in the 3rd quarter. Texas has done a good job after the half of shutting down TCU's offense. No first downs in the 3rd quarter for TCU.

Auburn is playing a trap game... USF is very good and could very well win the Big East this year.

YES! TCU fumbles the ensuing kickoff, and Texas recovers!

Wow, USF is just flat out manhandling Auburn.

Big East looking good in Week 2.

Huge momentum swing for Texas at the end of the 3rd quarter. An apparent McCoy fumble in the redzone is overturned when replay shows his knee was down, then the TCU fumble on the kickoff. Texas outgained TCU 160-18 in the 3rd quarter.

With this offense, I think the yardage is a given. I mean Timmy Chang put up huge yardage in the offense. Colt needs to put up a large number of TD's every single week if he wants to have serious Heisman consideration, and of course he needs to win almost every game. If Hawaii loses this game, the talk is obviously over.

A game is referred to as a trap when one good team is playing a team of a much inferior quality. It is also called such because said good team is either looking past said weak team to a more difficult, higher-profile match-up a week later, or are still riding the high of beating an equally good team, or even a much better team, in the prior week.

Rutgers-Cincinnati last year was a classic trap game. A week after beating #3 Louisville, still undefeated, we traveled to Cincy to take on a 5-4 team. We came out flat, they came out hungry, and we were never in the game. Typical trap game.

I don't think Auburn was looking past USF because it's sandwiched between those dominant teams called Kansas State and Mississippi State.

Yeah, USF is clearly the best team on Auburn's non-conference schedule. There's no way they're not prepared for this game.

Whatever you say chief.

How the hell did Miami let Ali Highsmith go to LSU? We need to keep that dade county talent in dade county.

I think trap game still qualifies, because USF is neither a conference game, nor a household name. It's not like they're ranked or anything.

I know it's "only" San Diego State, but the Coug offense is really rolling them in Seattle. It's 45-17 midway thru the 4th quarter, and QB Alex Brink has gone 38/47 for 472 yards, 5 TDs, and a pick. We have 35 first downs!

So, on every incomplete pass that Brandon Cox throws, the announcer says "almost intercepted," even if it was just barely tipped by a defender.

Qualifying issues. He was a MIami commit at first. Don't think it was strictly a grade issue, hes not a horrible student, might have been something like he was missing one class in HS that Miami required but LSU didn't.

Texas gets a FG, scoring 20 unanswered to take a 20-10 lead with 8 or so minutes left in the game.

you are right we need to win every game, and we will win this game. the yardage maybe a given, but I think what a lot of people over look is the completion % if you look at changs stats and then look at Brennans, there is quite a difference. Interceptions is also big, Colt doesnt throw many, Chang broke the NCAA record for most picks thrown in a career. heh.

I really like the camera work of the crowd at the Texas game. They've shown multiple times identical twin sorority girls that are very easy on the eyes.

Yet. They'll be one of four BE teams ranked at the end of the season. Maybe 5.

And that's the ball game for TCU. Punter bobbled the snap, and Texas recovers it then runs it in for a TD. 27-10 Texas. The 'Horns have been awesome in the second half.

LSU will make a lot of teams look bad this season, I'm afraid.

On the subject of announcers, I've decided I can't stand listening to American sports commenting anymore. I just can't take it anymore.

Agreed.

I still think VT is one of the best 15 or so teams in the country, but LSU is just nasty this year and playing at Death Valley, at night, is just too much for just about anyone this side of USC.

Maybe we'll get that LSU/USC matchup that's been talked about for the past half decade. That would be an awesome title game, especially since Les Miles stoked the fires with his pre-season comments about USC.

Then we'll agree . It doesn't surprise me that fans wouldn't realize USF is a good team, but Auburn shouldn't have been surprised. If they legitimately were, the coaching staff should be ashamed of themselves. There are some major, major talents on that squad.
