End of 3: 34-20, we lead. NO with the ball on our 44. We stop them the next 3 plays and they punt from our 44. They down it on the 10. 14 minutes left. They force a 3 and out and get a decent punt return to start on their 48. Bunkley and Cole combine on a sack to force a 3 and out, but they force us to go 3 and out. We punt with 10 minutes left. They fumble the punt return! We recover! We go 3 and out. 8 minutes left. Bush with a 23 yard run to get them deep inside our half. We stop them on the next 3 plays to force a 4th and 7 on the 25. They can't complete it and we get the ball on downs. 5 minutes left. Douglas with a 10 yard run on 3rd and 7. Douglas with a 18 yard run on 3rd and 5. 2:25 left now. They finally stop us the next 3 plays. Ricker misses a 54 yard FG attempt. 1:15 left. Considine intercepts a deep pass and returns it 82 yards for a TD!!! 41-20. Game over. 41-20 win for us. In the other games:
Denver won at Indianapolis 21-18 as Jay Cutler was 23 of 29 for 283 yards with 3 TD's 0 INT's even though Nathan Weaver was shut down. Javon Walker had 4 catches for 53 yards and a TD. Dwayne Jarrett was the star for the Colts with 7 catches for 119 yards and a TD. Detroit lost at GB 24-16 as Aaron Rodgers completed 26 of 33 for 274 yards with 3 TD's and 2 INT's. Detroit was playing without Brady Quinn who was injured and their backup QB, Dixon Small, threw 2 picks. Tennessee won at Cincinnati 33-24 as LenDale White only had 70 yards but he had 3 TD's. Vince Young was 15 of 24 for 200 yards. He was hurt in the 2nd half and Harold Horn came in and completed 13 of 13 passes for 124 yards with 0 TD's 0 INT's. We'll play at GB in the NFC Championship. It is supposed to be 30 degrees and sunny. Tennessee will play at Denver. GB's Aaron Rodgers is rated 66/66. Adrian Peterson is rated 59/59 and has been hit by some injuries which have already started him in decline. Despite this, he rushed 276 times for 1126 yards this year with 11 TD's. Greg Jennings is a very good #1 WR, but the rest of the receiving corp is below average. We'll certainly be double teaming him frequently today. The offensive line is slightly below average. Defensively, they are solid at every position with a standout at MLB in Abdul Hodge. Michael Lewis is doubtful with an abdominal strain and will be playing at a lower level than usual, but I'm risking him. Levi Brown has knee tendinitis that will slow him down, but there is no risk of re-injury and he will play. |

They start off with a 3 and out.
We start on our 48 after a good punt return. Douglas with a 11 yard reception on 3rd and 10. A 15 yard pass to LJ Smith to get inside the 20. A few short plays gets us a 1st on the 3. Westbrook runs for 1. Douglas with a 2 yard TD run! 7-0. We force them to punt from their 37. Good defense forces us to punt. End of 1: Up 7-0 with the ball on our 31. Westbrook with a fumble to end our drive. They get the ball on our 48. They end the drive with a 8 yard TD pass to Driver. 7-7. Both defenses holding when it matters. GB with a lengthy time consuming drive that ends in a Wali Lundy 9 yard TD run. 14-7. 1:27 left in the half. We fail to convert 3rd and 6 and go 3 and out. 26 seconds left and they are on their 35. Halftime: Down 14-7. We start wit the ball. They had a very successful short passing drive going until Trent Cole sacked Aaron Rodgers to force a 3rd and 19. However, they hit the FG to make it 17-7. 5:46 left in the 3rd. Douglas with a 9 yard run to convert a 3rd and 3 and that gets us to their 36. End of 3: Down 17-7, but we are driving and are on their 15. Very balanced offense with plenty of runs and short passes. Now on their 10 with a 1st down. McNabb to Ginn.. it's dropped! Westbrook with a 5 yard run. Gino Singer with a sack for a loss of 3. Ricker makes the 25 yard FG. 17-10. Rodgers to Jennings for 21 despite double coverage. Another throw into double coverage for 18 to Jennings. They slice through the defense ending with a 10 yard TD pass to Jeff Dugans. 24-10. 9 minutes left. We start on our 31. A pass to Berrian for 15. A pass to Ginn for 16 on 3rd and 10! Safety Mike Adams intercepts a pass on 3rd and 10 at their 26. 6 minutes left. On 3rd and 6, Wali Lundy gains 7. We force a fumble and recover to get the ball back with 4 minutes. McNabb overthrows Ginn. He misses Bernard. He gets hurried and misses Baskett. 4th and 10 - He throws to Ginn despite double coverage (which Ginn is drawing most of the game)... it is picked off. 3:40 left. Wali runs for 7 on 3rd and 7. We finally force them to punt, but only 1:16 left. McNabb to Ginn for 14. McNabb to Bernard for 10. McNabb scrambles for 10. McNabb to Bernard for 12. Time expires. 24-10 loss to GB. Denver was without Vince Young and Harold Horn was 17 of 31 for 187 yards with a pick. Meanwhile, Cutler was 20 of 30 for 232 yards with 2 TD's as Denver won 21-10.
We extend Brandon Fields, our punter to 2 more years at 2 million per year. Tommy Kelley wants a long term deal and I'm not sure how he is going to do coming back from his knee injury. I decide to wait for now. McNabb wants a 2 year extension (beyond this year) at 8.3 million this upcoming year and 9.3 the next. I decide to do it. He is getting a 10 million signing bonus. However, I can't due to lack of Salary cap space this year. We sign LJ Smith to a modest 2 year extension at under 2 million a year. We sign Brandon Hancock to a modest extension at about 1.5 million a year for the next 2 years. There are plenty of guys I'm going to wait and see if they retire including Westbrook. Time for the Super Bowl between Denver and GB. |

Our Scout, Bruce Etaton, is under contract for 2 more years. I hope to keep him around for a while as his only slight weakness is receivers and he is very good with QB's.
Our Head Coach, Donovan Turner, and offensive coordinator, Austin Barnes, both have expired contracts. Donovan is very good at everything except offensive play calling where he is average. He has been our head coach for all 5 years and is only 47. I consider going after the Giant's head coach who is an offensive genius, but my current coach is better well rounded so I offer him a 3 year deal for 5 million a year. Meanwhile, Austin is only average at developing QB's and only excels with Offensive Linemen. I go after Kenneth Dawson of the Panthers who is excellent at developing QB's, very good with young talent and excellent with Offensive Linemen as well. He is good with running backs and average with receivers. I offer Kenneth 4.8 million/year for 3 years. The Giant's resigned their head coach as well. Hmmm, this leaves me in the lurch. Meanwhile Kenneth is being offered over 6 million to be the offensive coordinator in GB. Donovan chose to leave our team and take a 7 million/year deal from Minnesota. As a result, we sign Eric Guido, the Tampa Bay Head Coach to become our new head coach. He is 32-48 in 5 years but is considered a master offensive play caller. He also is excellent at helping his guys avoid injury. He is very good in motivating player. However, he is only average in discipline and defensive playcalling. We pay him just over 8 million/year for the next 3 years. We miss out on all of the offensive coordinators that I wanted and end up with an unknown prospect for just over 2 million a year for the next 2 years. Willie Holton is average with QB's, very good with running backs, excellent with receivers, good with offensive linemen, and average with young talent. At least, we are only stuck with him for 2 years. When his contract expires, I'l be working hard to get a QB Guru as my offensive coordinator. I may even eat his deal and go for one next year if McNabb retires early on me. |

We send 5th round SLB Willie Davis to the summer league. I think that the Sherman Gregg experiment is a failure and he just isn't going to live up to his amazing combine numbers so he Willie will get more PT.
We franchise McNabb which costs us 13 million dollars. That starts immediate negotiations, and I take a chance by offering him his requested 11 million up front on a 3 year deal. Fortunately, he wants low base salaries and will only count 5.5 million towards the cap this year. Darren Howard's cap figure this year is 9 million. He isn't worth that anymore in his 12th year. I decide to release him. Ginn is going into the last year of his rookie deal. We tear that deal up and sign him to 4 years at 31 million dollars. Trent Cole is in the last year of his rookie deal. I'll wait a bit to see if he stays healthy before signing him to a new long term deal. We offer Westbrook a 2 year 3.8 million dollar deal to stay with us. In what is probably pure craziness, I offer Steve Smith a 3 year 30 million dollar deal despite him having 10 years of experience. He is still rated 67 and just had 99 catches last year. We also offer Rocky McIntosh, a 6 year SLB, a 5 year deal for over 23 million dollars. We decide to take a chance on Tommy Kelly, offering him a 3 year deal worth 14 million as there aren't any better DT's, and I'm hoping he can come back from his injury. I offer Michael Haynes, a 9th year DE who is an excellent pass rusher, a 2 year 4 million dollar deal. Tommy Kelly immediately took an offer from SD for 3 years and 14.3 million. Rocky McIntosh went to Buffalo for 25 million over 5 years. Steve Smith was offered 37 million from TB which I actually raised slightly (pure insanity on my part) but he took the 37 million from TB. We end up re-signing Darwin Walker to a 2 year deal worth 3.75 million. We re-sign Omar Gaither to a 1 year deal worth 1.2 million. Alex Stepanovich goes to SF for 4 years and 16 million. I think I'm going to go after a stud C in the 1st round of the draft. We sign Sione Pouha a 7 year DT who is a solid backup/borderline starter to a 2 year 2.9 million dollar deal. Westbrook considered several offers but finally accepted our 2 year 3.8 million dollar deal in the 11th week of the 1st FA period. That week, Michael Haynes also signed with us for 2 years and 4.7 million (we raised our offer to beat several other offers he got.) Stallworth signs a 1 year deal with Pittsburgh for just over a million. This offseason, Reggie Bush signed the biggest deal as he renegotiated for 108 million over 6 years. Nathan Vasher, the cornerback in Chicago, signed a 5 year 90 million dollar renegotiated deal. Troy Polamalu renegotiated with Pittsburgh for 5 years and 62 million. Steve Smith's 3 year 37 million dollar deal with TB was the biggest deal among the FA's. We are picking 25th this year in the 1st round. We have every pick except for our 3rd round pick. There is a tremendous looking C that I might move up a few slots to make sure that I get him. |

With the 1st pick, Chicago takes the best looking QB. Not sure, he was worth the #1 overall though.
2. Pittsburgh takes a beast at running back named Geoff Bush. I think he is Reggie's younger brother. 3. Houston takes Don Newman, a terrific looking OLB. 4. Cleveland takes a very good looking DE named Gerald Barlow. 5. Tampa Bay takes another good DE named Ted Tyler. 6. KC really reaches to take QB Marcus Looker. 7. Washington reaches a bit in taking DE Van O'Bryan. 8. Arizona takes the great looking C that I really thought would fall to about 20. Glen Cunningham is looking like a tremendous blocker and I regret not getting him. Now, I'm leaning towards a very good looking corner who is the 2nd best in the draft and I think might fall into the 20 range. 9 SD takes Spencer Hopkins, a solid looking DE. 10. SF gets the 10th pick in a trade and takes S Jimmie Brandon who looks like an all-pro. 11. Atlanta takes DE JR Clinton who looks like a solid pass rusher. 12. Seattle takes Dean Skipper, a solid LT from Georgia. 13. Carolina takes Max Farmer, the best looking WR in the draft. He shoild be very solid. 14. Minnesota takes Chuck O'Bryan, a great looking TE. 15. New York takes Darnell Turnball, a solid looking S. 16. SF takes DE Mo Herndon. I didn't scout him because he looked to be low on endurance. 17. Buffalo takes DT Wade Barlow, a great run stopper. 18. The Jets take Will Diminnie, a good looking S. 19. Jacksonville takes Nicky Beyer, a solid looking DE. 20. New England takes Joe Walters, an excellent looking OLB. I can't believe both corners are still on the board. The top guy does have a deficiency in zone coverage, but he is excellent at everything else and I want to switch to more Man defense and bump and run anyway. I'm going to take a risk and hope Sedrick just drops to me at 25. Baltimore trades the 21st pick to Oakland who takes Fernando Sinclair, a very good looking pass receiving TE. 22. Dallas takes Kelly Luangphone, a good looking DT who is a run stopper. 23. Miami takes Sedrick Lyubashevsky, the CB I was looking at 24. Tennessee takes Mercury Ruth, the other CB I was looking at 25. I kick myself for not getting my corners, but I'm very happy that SE Wes Mason is still on the board. He could be the lethal threat that I'm looking for alongside Ginn. He isn't a great deep receiver, but he looks like a receiver who doesn't have many other weaknesses and he could turn a short slant into a long gain. Of course, I still need a C and a young CB to inject some young talent into the secondary. 26. The Colts continue the run on DE's with Ethan Davenport, an average looking DE. 27. St. Louis takes Roy Davidson, a flawed corner in my opinion. 28. Cincinnati takes Terrell Savage, another flawed corner. 29. Detroit takes Clay Clemons, an ok looking DE. 30. New Orleans takes Ronnie Welch, an average looking DT. 31. GB takes Greg Hutton, a solid looking DT. 32. Denver takes Neil Shannon, a guard with great technical ability, but low blocking strength. DARN! Tennesee takes a corner that I really liked with the pick before mine in the 2nd round! I end up taking Aaron Sweeney, a massive RG who I think can make the transition to C. He is 6'6" 330 with great potential in technique and blocking strength. However, he is underdeveloped. With our 4th round pick, I almost take Tommie Devine, a talented C, but his red flag scares me off. Instead, I take KC Humphrey, an undersized but tenacious MLB who is a good run stopper and a decent coverage guy. Miami takes Tommy Devine 2 picks later. With my 5th round pick, we take Bernie Buckner, a smallish cornerback who our scouts really like. In the 6th round, we take Warren Garrison who my scouts think is going to become an elite pass rusher. I can't believe he wasn't taken sooner. I apparently didn't have a 7th rounder either. Wow. Green Bay submitted a request that was approved to move to Richmond for the 2016 season! |

Our scout's early impression of the rookies:
SE Wes Mason 41/66 RG Aaron Sweeney 27/68 - After moving him to C 25/68 RDE Warren Garrison 11/60 MLB KC Humphrey 18/47 RCB Bernie Buckner 21/55 I sign them all immediately, giving them the best deals. Jamaal Brown has been released by the Saints due to cap problems. I offer him a 3 year 16 million dollar deal to add depth to my line. I offer Ciatrick Fason a 2 year 2.7 milliond dollar deal for some depth. I offer TE Dave Thomas, a 2 year 2.5 million dollar deal to be our #2 TE. We offer G Jahri Evans, a release from the Saints, 13 million over 4 years to provide depth at G. We offer DE Jerome McDougle, a minimal veteran deal. Fason signs with us immediately. Thomas signs next. Jammal Brown signs in the same week. The next week, Jerome McDougle signs. We also sign S Sedrick Ware to a 1 year vet minimum deal as Uribe just isn't working out and I need more veteran depth at the position. After releasing Uribe, we sign T Mack Corbett to a min vet deal for depth. |

Seattle is offering a 1st round pick for Alan Douglas. No deal.
Chicago is offering a 59/59 7th year C and their 2nd round pick for Alan Douglas. No deal. Douglas' potential dropped to 63. But, he has 100 elusiveness, 98 speed to the outside, 100 route running, 82 getting downfield, and 45 hole recognition. I think he'll do fine as a main back in a system that I hope to throw it more with our improved offensive line, but even if he fails, he'll be a great 3rd down back. Here is a look at the whole roster: Code:

Rookie Notes:
Wes Mason dropped 9 points in potential after training camp! I still plan on him starting this year. However, he lacks endurance and Baskett will get plenty of time spelling him. Aaron Sweeney dropped 2 points of potential, but gained 3 points of current. I'm hopeful that he can start this year from day 1. DE Warren Garrison dropped 10 points of potential, but I think he will be a solid pass rushing backup if nothing else. Not bad for a 6th round pick. KC Humphrey dropped a point of potential. He looks good enough that I might him be the primary backup instead of Luther Doane. Sherman Gregg continues to creep up in ratings and has gained 6 points in current and potential since the end of last year. Maybe, I'm being premature in declaring that a dead experiment. He looked horrible in ratings the last 2 years and I stuck with him. I'll try to get him some PT this year as well and see what he does. Buckner dropped a few points of potential, but he looks to have everything I look for in a #2 or #3 CB except for low run stopping ability. We are implementing our new gameplan in the pre-season. We'll see how it goes with our young QB's. Quite a bit more deep throws and more throwing in general. Gregg will start at SLB in the pre-season. |

We lost our 1st pre-season game at SD 31-6.
Ciatrick Fason had 9 carries for 68 yards. McNabb was 7 of 10 for 66 yards, but Sam Kellar was 15 of 30 for 171 yards with 2 picks. Reggie Brown ended up being the main receiver with 7 catches for 70 yards. Wes Mason only had 3 catches for 34 yards despite being targeted 8 times. Rookie Aaron Sweeny was 3 of 3 on KRB's and had 0 sacks allowed! Sherman Gregg had 6 tackles and an assist. He only allowed 1 pass to be caught against him. Westbrook was injured in the game and will miss the rest of the pre-season. Willie Davis will be out a week with a strained calf. Our 2nd pre-season game, we lost to the Patriots 16-6. Wes Mason had 5 catches for 50 yards to lead the team. S Sedrick Ware led the team with 8 tackles. Gregg had 5 tackles. Gregg defended 2 passes and allowed 3 to be caught. Aaron Sweeney did give up a sack. In our 3rd pre-season game, we beat KC 30-15. Ciatrick Fason had 26 carries for 75 yards and 2 TD's. Wes Mason had 2 catches for 28 yards. In our final game at Buffalo, we won 28-3. Alan Douglas had 24 carries for 121 yards as I wanted him to shake off any rust. He also had a TD. McNabb was 10 of 16 for 138 yards with a TD and an INT. Wes Mason only had 3 catches for 27 yards. Gregg only had 1 tackle, but he did have 6 assists. Trent Cole in his only significant pre-season action had 3 sacks, 3 hurries, and 4 knockdowns. Haynes added another sack and 2 hurries. Gregg also had a half of a sack. In the final pre-season game, our rookie C Aaron Sweeney tore his patellar tendon! This could be a career ending injury. He is out for well over a year. I'm suddenly wishing I hadn't let Stepanovich go. We sign Shaun O'Hara, a 12 year C who is a very good pass blocker, but a poor run blocker. Time to make some decisions. Wes Mason hasn't shown quite enough to unseat Baskett. Mason will be our #3 receiver to start the season. Antoine Smith, the C I've been grooming, will be our starter. He is a below average C but is an adequate pass blocker and a good run blocker. Jamaal Brown will actually start ahead of Levi Brown, but I'll rotate them a fair bit. If Antoine struggles, I may slide Todd Herremans over to C where he is rated high in experience. My scout is actually recommending that I start Sherman Gregg (which is probably more of an indictment of the other options)! I'm going to give him a start or two and see how it goes. Our first game is hosting Dallas which will challenge our new gameplan. Dallas still has a high pressure defense led by Marcus Spears and DeMarcus Ware in the front 7. However, due to injuries they are starting Preston Conners a very poor WLB. Roy Williams remains a very good S. However, our defense should be able to victimize their QB as they again go with another poorly rated QB. This time, they are going with 6 year vet Bubba Kido, a 20/44 guy from LSU. |

Ahh, the Cowboys are actually starting Chad Pennington who is now rated 31/31.
Pennington completes a pass for 14 yards on 3rd and 8 to keep their drive going early. Pennington with a 10 yard pass on 3rd and 5 to convert the next 3rd down. We stop them for minimal game on the next 3 plays. Gregg assisted on 2 of the tackles. We start on our 1. Douglas runs for no gain. Fason with a 17 yard run (Westbrook is still hurt.) McNabb to Reggie Brown for 15 yards, but holding calls it back. McNabb to Ginn for 19 yards. They eventually stop us on our 40. End of 1: 0-0. Dallas has it on our 34. Pennington is driving them down the field with key 3rd down passes. Pennington to Jeff Springer for a 18 yard TD. 7-0. Wes Mason drops the first pass thrown to him. They stop us at the 17. Ricker makes a 34 yard FG. 7-3. 7:40 left in the half. Defensive Holding bails them out of a 3 and out. Chad with short pass after short pass moves them down the field to our 30. We stop them on the 21. Antnio Gardner makes the 38 yard FG. 10-3. 2:30 left in the half. McNabb to Wes Mason for 26 yards! Bobby Carpenter intercepts it on Dallas' 39... he returns it 61 yards for a TD! 17-3. Halftime: Down 17-3. So far, the new gameplan isn't working well. Haynes with a nice sack to push them back to their 4. That leads to a 3 and out. McNabb to Berrian for 44 yards! That is more like it. Marcus Spears goes down with an injury! Preston, the weak WLB with a sack and forced fumble, but we recover. Still, we have to settle for a FG. 17-6. Cary Farr catches a short Pennington pass, breaks two tackles and gains 57 yards after the catch for a 63 yard TD. 24-6. They force a punt at midfield. Only 3:14 left in the 3rd. Considine with an interceptin on our 40 to get the ball back. McNabb to Mason for 14 yards. Offensive Holding brings it back. Carpenter intercepts a pass intended for Ginn, despite him being double teamed (as usual.) That will probably end the game barring a miracle comeback. Pennington with a quick drive down the field with all 10-15 yard passes. End of 3: 24-6 lead for Dallas. Johnnie Rivera runs it in from the 2. 31-6. Game over. 31-6 loss. Gregg played well in general. Week 1, 2011 played in Philadelphia, PA 73 degrees, fair, 6 mph wind

Westbrook and Justice are now 100%. Phillip Buchanon suffered a severe concussion and will miss a few weeks.
Eli Manning was the offensive player of the week with 29 of 39 passing for 417 yards with 4 TD's. Geoff Bush led all backs with 31 carries for 146 yards. Sinorice Moss had 12 catches for 171 yards and 4 TD's for the Giants. Bobby Carpenter was the defensive player of the week with 7 tackles, 2 assists, and 2 interceptions. Our next game is at Buffalo. Renaldo Harden is a 3rd year QB who is developing into a solid passer. Willis McGahee is stil a dangerous back. Leroy Parrish is their top receiver. Their offensive line is solid across the board. There are no weaknesses in their defense either and their secondary is particularly good led by Donte Whitner at SS. |

McNabb to Douglas for a 3 yard TD with 3 minutes left in the 1st to make it 7-0. McNabb is 8 of 10 so far for 60 yards.
An interception quickly gets us the ball back. End of 1: Up 7-0 and we are inside the 20. McNabb to Reggie Brown for a 13 yard TD!!! 14-0. Dhani Jones forces a fumble that McCoy recovers and we have it around midfield. McNabb throws a pick on our first play to Ko Simpson. Buffalo with a late FG to make it 14-3 before the half. It's terrible weather and that has made for a sloppy game. Halftime: 14-3. We have 3 interceptions on Buffalo midway through the 3rd. Wes Mason goes down with an injury. Hopefully, it isn't serious. End of 3: Up 14-3. The rain seems to be contributing to many turnovers today. Both defenses are solid too. Ricker with a long FG to make it 17-3 with 7 minutes left. Considine recovers a fumble a few plays later and we start on their 16. That is the 3rd fumble lossed by them, and we have also lost 3. Westbrook fumbles two plays later and Buffalo recovers. Our 4th fumble lost. Quite a few players going down today. Late in the 4th, Antoine Smith our starting C goes down. Ricker misses a 46 yard FG, but it is 17-3 with 2 minutes left. Game over. 17-3 win. Week 2, 2011 played in Buffalo, NY 67 degrees, rain, 16 mph wind

McNabb suffered a bruised shoulder
Antoine Smith is doubtful with a hyperextended elbow and will miss a game. I'll slide Todd Herremans over to C. Phillip Buchanon will miss at least 2 more weeks with his concussion. Wes Mason broke a bone in his foot and will miss 2-3 weeks. Kellen Clemens of the Jets was the offensive player of the week with 19 of 24 passing for 240 yards with 4 TD's. Brady Quinn was 20 of 27 for 381 yards with 3 TD's. Nathan Weaver of Denver had 28 carries for 125 yards. Roy Williams had a monster week with over 160 yards. This week he had 11 catches for 269 yards and 2 TD's. Irv Boyd, DE Atlanta, had 5 tackles and 4 sacks to win defensive player of the week. Speaking of Roy Williams and Quinn, we play at Detroit this week. Quinn's current rating is 70 and he has excellent touch on his passes. Billy Joe Kornegay is a solid running back who provides balance to their attack. Roy Williams is rated 70 and is excellent at adjusting to the ball. The offensive line is weak at both guard positions, but very good at C and good at both T's. Defensively, Shaun Cody leads a solid defensive line. Ernie Sims is a great linebacker who works very well with Teddy Lehman at the other outside linebacker position. Rob Snyder and Leon Hall are great corners, but they are missing both starting safeties and that hurts the secondary. Hopefully, that will help us connect on a few deep passes. |

Quinn to Roydell Williams for a 44 yard gain on their 2nd play. That name must present some confusion for foes.
We sack Quinn the next 2 plays to force a 3rd and 31. However, defensive holding on the 3rd down play gives them an automatic first. Quinn to Roydell Williams for another 29 yards, but he fumbles it and Considine recovers! A penalty for defensive holding negates the play and gives Detroit the ball back. We stop them at their 41 and force the punt. Alan with a 14 yard run to start us off. McNabb marches us down the field ending in a 28 yard TD to Baskett in which Baskett gained 19 yards after the catch. 7-0. We force a 3 and out. Starting on our 40, McNabb with a quick pass to Westbrook for 11. A few more quick passes to the TE's get us to their 30. McNabb throws his first incomplete on his 9th pass. However, on 3rd and 7 he throws it to Reggie Brown for 8. Alan Douglas ends the drive with a 3 yard TD run. 14-0. Kornegay catches a short pass and turns it into a 28 yard gain. End of 1: Up 14-0, Detroit is at midfield. Michael Haynes with heavy pressure two plays in a row to stop them at the 37. They choose to punt. Ginn drops a bomb that would have been a TD. However, McNabb with intermediate passes on the next 2 plays, picks up a 1st. Baskett is having a huge game against Dre' Bly. Ernie Sims with a sack stops our drive and Ricker misses a 41 yard FG and glares at the holder, our 3rd string QB. Quinn to Kevin Fletcher for a 41 yard gain after we stopped 2 long passes intended for Roy Williams. Michael Lewis goes down a play later Brian Calhoun has a 4 yard TD run to make it 14-7. A great kick return by Reggie Brown starts us almost at midfield. Teddy Lehman forces Dave Thomas to fumble and Lehman recovers it at midfield. Devin Hester with great coverage on Roy Williams so far. Randall Dunn kicks the 49 yard FG. 14-10. 2 minutes left. McNabb with 3 quick passes to march us down to their 27. Defensive pass interference in the endzone on the DB covering Ginn results in a 1st on the 1. They stop Douglas for a loss of 1 on 2 successive runs. On 3rd and goal from the 3, Douglas runs it in for a TD! 21-10. Halftime: 21-10 lead. McNabb is 14 of 17 for 167 yards. Alan Douglas catches a short pass and turns it into a 15 yard gain. McNabb is marching us down the field with accurate passing. McNabb to Berrian for 23 to get us to their 10. Douglas fumbles it on the 5 and they recover the fumble and return it 20 yards to the 25. Trent Cole with very good pressure to force a 3 and out. Ricker misses a 43 yard FG with 3:35 left in the 3rd, but our passing attack is decimating their defense. Quinn to Roy Williams for 26 yards to start the drive. End of 3: Up 21-10 and we just got the ball back on our 20. They are doubling Ginn and it is stopping most of our passes towards him. We punt with 12 minutes left. Michael Haynes and Darwin Walker with back to back hurries to help stop them on 3rd and 4th down. We get it on our 38. We run it 8 straight times and eat some clock before punting. We pin them on their 2. 4 straight incompletions leads to a turnover on downs. Westbrook with a 4 yard TD run to make it 28-20. Dre' Bly fumbles the kickoff and we recover on their 21. A 35 yard FG attempt by Ricker is wide right! 1:40 left. Cole with great pressure on 1st and 2nd down. Hester intercepts the 3rd down pass intended for Roy Williams at our 46. Game over. 28-10 win for us. Week 3, 2011 played in Detroit, MI 68 degrees, fair, calm

McNabb is now 100%. Buchanon is going to be held out another week due to his concussion. Michael Lewis has a pulled groin and will miss at least a week possibly up to 4 weeks.
Peyton Manning completed 33 of 45 passes for 370 yards with 3 TD's to win player of the week. Dave Mahoney, Atl, had 33 carries for 190 yards. Chad Johnson had 9 catches for 172 yards and a TD. ILB Barrett Ruud, TB, was the defensive player of the week with 6 tackles, 3 assists, and 3 interceptions. We have a bye in week 4. In week 4, Marc Bulger was the offensive player of the week with 26 of 33 passing for 274 yards with 3 TD's. Dave Mahoney led all backs with 34 carries for 158 yards. Braylon Edwards, Cle, led all receivers with 9 catches for 164 yards and a TD. Howard Kelly, a safety for Car, had 1 tackle and 3 interceptions to win defensive player of the week. Antoine Smith is 100%, but I'm going to leave Herremans as our starting C for another week. Michael Lewis is going to miss at least 1 game due to his pulled groin. Our next game is at Seattle. Matt Hasselbeck is a very good QB who has excellent accuracy. Darren Sproles is a below average HB. Rusty Royer and Jeff Samardzija are both good receivers. They got Jeff in the 7th round due to character issues. The offensive line is strong on the right side, but weak on the left side. Defensively, Kendrick Deneault leads to a very good defensive line. Derrick Josiah is the best of a good group of linebackers. Marcus Trufant is out injured and their secondary is vulnerable as a result with Ron Provance being a poor cornerback. I'm expecting McNabb to break 300 yards with this gameplan and this secondary, barring injury. |

Matt with 2 deep passes to quickly get them to our 10. Matt to Rusty Royer for a TD. 7-0.
A very good kickoff return starts us at our 48. Ricker makes a 46 yard FG to make it 7-3. Matt with a 20 yard pass to Greg Olsen. Another 14 yard pass and a personal foul has them at our 25. We stop them at our 20, but they make the FG. 10-3. Ginn drops a deep pass that forces us to punt. We force a 3 and out as we stuffed Sproles on his 1st 2 carries. McNabb with a 21 yard scramble to get us to midfield. End of 1: Down 10-3, we have it on their 32. Ricker misses a 49 yard FG. Trent Cole with a sack for a loss of 7 to push them into 3rd and 17. We force a 3 and out. McNabb scrambles and fumbles it. They recover on our 35. We stop them on the 27. Josh Brown makes the 44 yard FG. 13-3. 11:44 left in the half. Douglas with a 18 yard run, but he fumbles it and Seattle recovers on their 48. Matt to his TE for a 19 yard TD to end a short drive. 20-3, 7 minutes left in the half. Our 3rd personal foul of the game pushes us into 3rd and 18 and we fail to convert. We need the defense to make a big play. Omar with a nice sack on 3rd down to foce a punt. We start on our 4. Tremendous pressure on McNabb leads to 3 straight incompletions and a punt. 3 minutes left in the half. We force a 3 and out.. we block the punt!! Dhani Jones recovers it for a TD!!!! 20-10. Sproles breaks off a 32 yard run to get to our 38 with 30 seconds left. Josh Brown hits a 51 yard FG. 23-10. Halftime; 23-10, Seattle leads. McNabb is 4 of 15 at the half. So much for his 300 yards. Alan Douglas with a 25 yard run to get us going. We are now at their 31. Todd Herremans goes down on the next play. Ricker misses another FG, a 49 yard attempt. MCCoy forces their TE to fumble, and Frank McGrath recovers the fumble at our 48. They sack McNabb twice and we have to punt. Antoine Smith gave up one of them. Sheldon Brown goes down with an injury. We stop them at their 40 and force a punt. They are getting incredible pressure from their front 7 to stop our passing attack. Ginn drops a 3rd down pass that would have been a 1st. Hasselbeck is using Greg Olsen, his TE, very well today. We stop them at the 25. Josh Brown misses the 42 yard FG. End of 3: Down 23-10, we have the ball on our 32. Berrian with 2 key 3rd down catches keeps the drive going. We are in their territory now. However, 3 incomplete passes stops us at their 46. We need another big special teams or defensive play. We force a 3 and out but they get a good punt. We start at our 33. They force a 3 and out. This is McNabb's worst day in this career. So far, he is 8 of 34 for 67 yards. Josh Brown with a short FG to make it 26-10. Only 2 minutes left. McNabb to Baskett for 43 yards. However, pressure forces 3 incompletions after that. McNabb to Ginn on 4th, but he only gets 8 yards. Turnover on downs. Game over. 26-10 loss. Terrible day for our offensive line and the passing attack. Week 5, 2011 played in Seattle, WA 63 degrees, fair, 3 mph wind

Buchanon, Bunkley, and Wes Mason are all 100% now.
Sheldon Brown is out for about 4 weeks with some damaged knee cartilage. Todd Herremans has a sprained knee and will resume backup status as a result. Devin Hester has a strained rotator cuff, but I'm going to take a risk. Marc Bulger was the offensive player of the week with 30 of 40 passing for 495 yards with 4 TD's 1 INT. Darren Sproles led all backs with 36 carries for 145 yards. Kevin Curtis had 13 catches for 255 yards and 3 TD's for the Rams. Will Smith, DE New Orleans, was the defensive player of the week with 4 tackes and 3 sacks. Our next game is hosting Arizona. Arizona has the 27th rushing attack despite having Quinn Walker who is a talented back. Their passing attack is 18th and is still led by Matt Leinart. Matt has thrown 4 TD's vs 10 INT's this year to continue a trend of terrible stats that started last year. Matt is rated 47/73 by our scouts, but his numbers aren't very good. Larry Fitzgerald and Boldin are dangerous receivers. Quinn Walker is a very good receiving back as well. They are allowing 121 rushing yards per game and 232 passing yards per game. They are 1-4 as their horrible turnover margin is leading to them giving up 23.4 ppg. Darnell Dockett is a monster TE, but the rest of their defensive line is just average. Their linebackers are below average and with the exception of SS Roy Gaylor who is terrific, their secondary is below average. I'm using the same gameplan as last week, but if it fails to perform, I'll go back to a bit more short passing for McNabb. |

Alan Douglas starts us off with a 28 yard run. A quick pass to Baskett gets us 15 more. A pass to Ginn gets us another 11. A pass to Duglas for 16 gets us inside their 10. A pass to Hancock for 8 to get a 2nd and goal from the 1. A penalty pushes us back 5. A pass to Westbrook picks up 5 yards. Westbrook runs it in for a TD!!! 7-0.

Considine is now 100%. Sedrick Ware is now 100%.
Michael Lewis will miss one more game. Brandon Hancock is out for a few weeks with a strained calf. Todd Herremans re-injured his knee and will miss a few weeks. Austin Duncan, Atlanta's new QB, was the offensive player of the week with 28 of 39 passing for 331 yards for 4 TD's. Willie Parker had 14 carries for 150 yards and 3 TD's for Indianapolis. Roy Williams had 12 catches for 195 yards and 2 TD's for Detroit. Kevin Burnett, OLB Dal, had 3 tackles and 3 sacks to win defensive player of the week. This week, we play at Washington. Washington is missing their starting QB (Campbell) with repetitive concussion syndrome and it looks like his promising career is over. So, they have turned to Pat Julmiste, a young QB from South Florida who looks like he will be an average QB one day but is below average right now. Sean Hitchcock their starting HB is out with an injury and Clinton Portis may end up starting, but he is on the downside of his career. They are also missing Korey Wells, their best linebacker. Sean Taylor has probably seen the end of his promising career secondary to repetitive concussion syndrome and he is out as well. They also have quite a few other guys out with injury. Despite that, they have a solid offensive line and two good receivers in Steve Breaston and Brandon Lloyd. Carlos Rogers is a very good cornerback as well. We'll try to air it out 1 more week against Washington, but I'm starting to realize that McNabb is just in too much decline to consistently run this high powered offense. It might be time to draft his successor next year as his accuracy is now rated below 20. |

We stop their first drive short of midfield. Starting at our 20: A 16 yard pass to Douglas. McNabb scrambles for 13. A pass to Smith for 10. A pass to Baskett for 41 yards and a TD!!!! 28-13. Bunkley with good pressure to force a hurry on the first play. Then, they get a few good first down passes. Short and intermediate passes to move the ball. We really need to upgrade our linebacking corp's pass coverage skills (and run stopping.) We stop them on the 8 as Gregg defends 2 passes. A short FG makes it 28-16. 1:50 left in the 3rd. We start on our 27: McNabb runs for 4. A pass to Douglas for 12, but holding calls it back. A hurry forces an incompletion. Incomplete pass and we punt. End of 3: Up 28-16. Sedrick Ware is out for a few weeks with a hyperextended knee while Michael Lewis needs one more week to be 100%. No other changes in our injuries.
Kyle Wright, Minnesota, was the offensive player of the week with 35 of 44 passing for 449 yards for 5 TD's 1 INT against Carolina. Reggie Bush has 28 carries for 162 yards and 2 TD's. Travis Bronson, Minnesota, had 12 catches for 168 yards and 3 TD's. Johnny Gillespie, DE Denver, had 5 tackles and 3 sacks to win defensive player of the week. Our next game is hosting the Giants. They are 3-3 as Eli Manning tore a deltoid muscle early in the year and will miss this year. Instead, they are relying on 4th round 2nd year QB Irv Plenus who has potential to be very good as he is highly accurate, but he is lacking in most other areas. Shockey and Sinorice Moss provide dangerous receiving options. The offensive line is a mess right now. Defensively, they are very good with two great DE's that can provide tremendous pressure. Their linebacking group is very solid. The secondary is better this year than any previous year, but is vulnerable to the deep ball. I'm tempted to go with a run heavy offense to counter their heavy pass rush, but I'm going to air it out a lot still if our gameplan is followed. |

Devin Hester has a torn rotator cuff and is done for the year.
Sean Considine has a torn ACL and is done for the year. Sedrick Ware has a hyperextended knee and is doubtful for a few weeks. Lewis is still probable with his pulled groin, but I'm going to have to risk him. We sign 4th year Ricardo Grover to a 1 year deal after putting Considine on the IR. Grover is very good at play diagnosis and is a capable M2M and BnR defender. He is ok at zone. His biggest weaknesses are very poor endurance and run defense. After putting Hester on IR, we sign Anthony Henry to a minsal vet 1 year deal. These injuries mean that our rookie, Buckner will be starting at RCB at least for a week until Buchanon is able to come back. Carson Palmer was the offensive player of the week with 28 of 40 passing for 295 yards with 3 TD's 0 INT's. Chester Preston, Car, had 19 carries for 129 yards and a TD. Roy Williams continues his excellent season with Brady Quinn as his QB with 9 catches for 193 yards and 2 TD's. In 7 games, Williams has 56 catches for 1048 yards and 8 TD's! Justin Smith, DE Cin, was the defensive player of the week with 5 tackles and 4 sacks. Our next game is at the Rams. Bulger is on pace for a 5000 yard season so far! Fortunately for us, his primary target Sidney Rice was injured last week and will be out for 1-2 weeks. Bulger is excellent at very long passes. Their offensive line is very good led by LT Alex Barron. Kevin Curtis is a very good #2 receiver who is forced to be the #1 this week. Defensively, their front 7 are all average to slightly above average. Tye Hill is an exceptional cornerback and the rest of the secondary is good. The Rams are 5-2 and are 2nd in the league in passing. Defensively, they are 5th against the run and 25th against the pass. |

Sheldon Brown, LJ Smith, Hancock, and Doane are all 100% now.
Lewis slightly re-exacerbated his pulled groin and will sit out this week. Haynes has a concussion and will miss 1 or 2 games. Justice has a strained deltoid and will miss 2-3 weeks. Haynes injury will allow our rookie DE to get some PT. Renaldo Harden, Buffalo's young QB, was the offensive player of the week with 20 of 26 passing for 216 yards and 2 TD's. Brady Quinn completed 21 of 31 for 372 yards with 3 TD's and 2 INT's. Reggie Bush had 26 carries for 140 yards and a TD. Chris Chambers had 7 catches for 118 yards and a TD. Terrell Suggs, DE Bal, won defensive player of the week with 5 tackles and 3 sacks. Our next game is hosting SF. SF's Alex Smith has become an elite QB who is excellent with the deep ball. Their rushing attack is anemic with Peter O'Donnell being their primary back. Taylor Jacobs is thriving from Alex's accurate throws. The entire offensive line is good. Defensively, they have zero weaknesses. Manny Lawson is an excellent linebacker and they have a quick 3-4 defense that can get tremendous pressure on the QB. We'll keep in our backs more to block this game. SF is 6-2. They are 32 in rushing but 8th in passing. They are 14th overall. Defensively, they are 2nd against the run and 9th against the pass. They are 1st overall. They are only allowing 16 ppg which is 4th. Before the game starts, here is a look at the NFL Standings: Code:

Michael Lewis is now 100%.
Anthony Henry is out for 4 weeks with a hyperextended knee. Sedrick Ware is out 5 weeks with a hyperextended knee. McNabb was the offensive player of the week. Troy Smith is now in Oakland and he is starting there. He had a good week and in his first season of being a regular starter, he has completed 195 of 325 passes (60%) for 1832 yards with 12 TD's 11 INT's. Oakland picked him up as a minsal guy after he refused to sign with Denver since Cutler is their starter. Geoff Bush had 24 carries for 186 yards and a TD for Pittsburgh. Calvin Johnson had 11 catches for 218 yards and 2 TD's for New Orleans. Our Bernard Berrian was 2nd this week. DJ Williams, OLB Den, had 10 tackles, 1 sack, 2 passes defended and 2 interceptions to win defensive player of the week. Our next game is at Dallas with their strong defense. However, Dallas is missing their top 3 S's and that will make it easier. However, their front 7 is still a superior front 7. Fred Barnett is a solid cornerback as well. Offensively, they are banged up but have a good offensive line and good receiving options. Dallas is 5-4. Pennington has 12 TD's vs 8 INT's. Their rushing attack is 16th and their passing attack is 27th. Overall, their offense is 26th. The defense is 3rd against the run, 14th against the pass, and 3rd overall. They are only allowing 15 ppg which is 1st in the NFL. We are using the same gameplan as last week, including keeping blockers in. |

Quite the game from Sherman Gregg. He continues to show as a 33/33 guy according to our scouts (which is better than they ever thought he would be.)
Herremans and Haynes are now 100%. Sheldon Brown has an abdominal strain and is doubtful for a few weeks. Phillip Rivers was the offensive player of the week with 22 of 27 passing for 291 yards with 4 TD's. Nathan Weaver, Denver, had 32 carries for 160 yards and 3 TD's. Justin Gage, Jets, had 12 catches for 172 yards and a TD. Keneci Udeze, DE Min, was the defensive player of the week with 7 tackles and 3 sacks. Our next game is at Miami. Miami is 7-3 thanks in large part to Ronnie Brown. He has over 1000 yards already and their rushing attack is 8th in the league. Their passing attack is 20th and they are 18th overall. Defensively, they are 1st against the run and 25th against the pass. They are 7th overall. They are only allowing 18 ppg which is 9th in the NFL. Brian Griese is their starting QB and in 6 starts he has 8 TD's 0 INT's. He has completed 110 of 150 passes (73%) for 1420 yards in those 6 games. Chris Chambers is a very good receiving option and Derek Hagan is the perfect #2 receiver. The entire offensive line is good. They are starting the rookie cornerback that I wanted and he is already rated 40. He is playing well this year in his 8 starts. The entire defense is solid and the rookie is the lowest rated player. |

Winston Justice is now 100% and will move back into starting at RT.
Stephen Phillips will miss a few games with a pulled groin. This means Herremans will start at LG and Smith will move back into the starting lineup at C. Peyton Manning was the offensive player of the week with 18 of 24 passing for 286 yards with 3 TD's 0 INT's. Ronnie Brown had 23 carries for 194 yards and a TD. Travis Bronson, Minnesota, had 6 catches for 178 yards and a TD. Mathias Kiwanuka, DE NYG, had 3 tackles and 2.5 sacks to win defensive player of the week. Our most recent loss dropped us to 6-5 and one game behind Dallas at 7-4. Next up, we host Carolina. Carolina is 3-8. They are 1st in rushing with great production from their top 2 backs who are splitting time. Chester Preston, a former 7th pick overall, has relatively poor ratings but he has 199 carries for 883 yards (4.44 avg) and 10 TD's. The passing attack is 13th wit Jake Delhomme having over 2500 yards with 15 TD's and 6 INT's. However, the defense has been bad with a rush defense ranking of 24th, a pass defense ranking of 22nd, and an overall defense that is 27th. |

Sheldon Brown is now 100%.
Sheldon Brown is out for 1-2 weeks with a strained deltoid muscle. Byron Leftwich won offensive player of the week with 32 of 45 passing for 392 yards and 2 TD's. Geoff Bush had 12 carries for 134 yards and a TD for Pittsburgh. Chad Johnson had 10 catches for 201 yards and 3 TD's. Antoine Bethea, S Ind, had 1 tackle, 1 pass defensed and 3 interceptions to win defensive player of the week. Dallas won and remains a game ahead of us. Our next game is hosting the Jets. The Jets have Kellen Clemens at QB, but he seperated his shoulder in his last game. They will probably turn to unproved 2nd year Otis Dalleader who is rated 23/40. The other choice is rookie Antonio Lang who is rated 10/40. Kevan Barlow is a solid running back for them. Justin Gage is a very good receiver but the rest of the group is below average. The offensive line is solid with LT D'Brickashaw being an elite blocker. The defensive line features two great DE's and a very good NT. The linebacking corp is young and not so good with the exception of 9 year vet Victor Hobson. Justin Miller and Derrick Strait are good corners but the safeties are both rookies and raw. All of this has led to a 5-7 record for the Jets. Their rushing attack is 15th. The passing offense is 18th. Overall, they are 16th with Kellen Clemens at QB. Defensively, they are 15th against the run, 13th against the pass, and 14th overall. |

MCNabb to Mason for 20 yards to start the drive, but they stop us short of midfield. 5 minutes left. Michael Lewis intercepts a short pass on their 15. We've just dominated this young QB today. 3 runs are stuffed. Ricker makes the 36 yard FG. 22-7. 3 minutes left. Another pick as they are finally airing it out. We don't move the ball but Ricker makes a 52 yard FG. 25-7. 1:40 left. Their QB finally completes a pass to Gage, but we force a fumble which Buchanon recovers. We kick one last FG to make it 28-7. Anthony Henry is now 100%.
Peyton Manning was the offensive player of the week with 23 of 30 passing for 343 yards with 3 TD's. Ronnie Brown had 40 carries for 149 yards and a TD. Roy Williams had 7 catches for 143 yards and 2 TD's. Travis LaBoy, DE Ten, had 3 tackles and 3 sacks to win defensive player of the week. Dallas won again and is now 9-4. Our next game is hosting Washington. They have settled in with PAt Julmiste as their QB due to Campbell's injury but it has hurt their offense. The defense is solid at every position. The lack of offense has left them at 6-7. Their rushing attack is 24th and their passing attack is 20th. Overall, they are 21st. The run defense is 8th. The pass defense is 23rd. Overall, they are 21st defensively. Julmiste has 12 TD's and 12 INT's and just over 2300 yards. |

Their next drive, Colby suffers a serious ankle injury and that is one loss that reall hurts. We still stop them short of a TD, but they make it a tie game. 3-3. First play is a short pass that Ginn turns into a 21 yard gain. After a holding call, McNabb to Berrian for 20. McNabb to Ginn for 42 yards and a TD!!!! 10-3. That was quick! Lito Sheppard and Sedrick Ware are now 100%. Colby Bockwoldt is done for the season with a severe high ankle sprain.
Tom Brady was the offensive player of the week with 22 of 33 passing for 311 yards and 3 TD's. Dave Mahoney, Atl, had 29 carries for 198 yards. Sidney Rice, St. Louis, had 6 catches for 128 yards and a TD. DE Dennis Lang, TB, had 7 tackles and 3.5 sacks to win the defensive player of the week. Our next game is hosting Tom Brady and the Patriots. Brady is rated 82/82 and is one of the best QB's in the game. Laurence Maroney is a very good running back who is having a good year - 12 starts 222 carries for 1073 yards and 9 TD's. Rodger Fletcher, their 1st round pick in last year's draft is a very good receiver. Curtis Julian, their 2nd round pick from 2 years ago is a solid receiver. The entire offensive line is solid except for my old guard Max Jean-Gilles. Defensively, they have no weaknesses. SS James Sanders is a standout as is NT Vince Wolfork. All of this leads to the Pats being 9-5. They lost 2 games where Brady was injured. They are 14th in rushing. They are 5th in passing. Overall, they are 5th. They are 2nd in ppg at 25.7. Defensively, they are 5th against the run. They are 1st against the pass and 1st overall. They are allowing 19.4 ppg which is 11th. Brady's stats on the year: 260 of 411 for 3134 yards with 18 TD's 4 INT's for a 97.1 RTG. Hopefully, we can get enough pressure from our DL to rattle him. |

Douglas with a 3 yard TD run!!! 34-7. 5 minutes left in the 2nd quarter. I think all of my offensive tweaking is finally working Brady with a quick strike to make it 34-14. With just under 2 minutes left, McNabb quickly drives us to their 46. Penalties kill the drive. We punt and pin them on their 1. Halftime: Up 34-14! McNabb is 17 of 22 for 211 yards so far. We force a 3 and out to start the half Douglas grinding out yards to get us to their 27 when a penalty pushes us back to the 37 and kills our drive. Still that ate up some time. Stephen Phillips is now 100%.
No one is out except for my 4 guys who are done for the season: Considine, Bockwoldt, Hester, and Sweeney. McNabb was the offensive player of the week. Reggie Bush had 30 carries for 130 yards and a TD. Michael Jenkins, Atlanta, had 11 catches for 139 yards and 3 TD's. Michael Lewis was the defensive player of the week. That win has us at 10-5 tied with Dallas, but they are listed as being in 1st place in the division due to a better conference record and they beat us both games. Their final game is at the Redskins who are 6-9. Our final game is a the 4-11 Giants who are struggling without Eli this year. Besides Eli, they are missing Matt Schaub, top receiver Sinorice Moss (Ruptured Achilles Tendon), OLB Lavar Arrington, CB Deltha O'Neal, #3 WR Bryan Helmick, and their top two guards. Their offensive line is a mess. The only real weapon on offense that is healthy is Jeremy Shockey. Their 3rd QB is questionable but is expected to start. Irv Plenus has 7 TD's and 12 INT's in 10 starts. Defensively, they are still formidable due to their outstanding defensive line which is all healthy. Their rushing offense is 32nd. Their passing attack is 20th. Their total offense is 30th. They are 28th against the run. They are 25th against the pass. They are 29th defensively overall despite the talent. I'll play this game later this week. |

Ted Ginn is now rated 5 points lower by my scouts than he was at the beginning of the season, and he has underperformed this year. Hopefully, he can bounce back next year.
Broderick Bunkley has a broken clavicle and may miss the entire playoffs This means that rookie Warren Garrison will be activated for the second time all year for the playoffs. Here is a look at the Final Standings of the season: Code:
