The Trotter ejection was a big part in the Eagles not stopping the run, but it's amazing how little everyone talks about Corey Simon with regards to the Eagles... I think he will be sorely missed and could effect the whole defense.

This is the second year in a row I see them as a "if they put it all together..." kind of team, but I'm much more hesitant to have any belief in them after last year. Still, I think they'd have a hard time knocking off Atlanta or Philly in the playoffs.

You haven't seen Harrington run the option, have you?

I'm basing this on what they did to Favre, who is no pushover. 53 rating, four sacks. Harrington had a poor game, but didn't throw a pick. He should improve with all those great receivers in tow.

But I'll take the heat for now.

Oddsmakers have no faith in the niners, as the line for the eagles v Niners next week is Eagles -13.5. That high this early is outrageous.
