Anyone watching any of the live event tonight?
What I find the most amusing is that they have live camera feeds on the website and that people are reporting "sightings" about "seeing mist" (they have it set up so that you can submit a sighting if you see something on the camera for them to investigate). It's the freaking pixelation from the feed. |

I stopped watching this year. To be honest, i felt like the show went downhill, especially with the scathing comments from some of the past members of the show about fake stuff.
It also seemed like they were getting way more evidence in the later seasons, which made it less believable for me.

I caught some of the live event last night.
A couple of thoughts... -- I wish they wouldn't bring on a castmember from every Syfy show in existence to serve as a guest investigator, guest host, etc. It was obvious that some were forced into participating and did not want to be there. -- From what I did watch, it seemed like there were too many cut-ins, advertisements, and out-of-place breaks in the investigation. It was very difficult to get into the show. -- Moving Kris Williams to GHI = interesting move. I wouldn't be at all surprised if this led to her leaving the show altogether sometime in the near future (whether voluntary or not). Overall, I felt that it was pretty average as far as GH goes. Nowadays, I'm more entertained by Paranormal State than Ghost Hunters. |

I kind of gave up on it and then went back to it near the end. Basically nothing that was keeping my interest, especially since Kris was wearing that coat... I think the novelty of watching it has slowly worn off. It would be nie to be at a live investigation but watching one just doesn't do it. Kris going to GHI may mean that I watch that one more than the original now but they need to investigate wwarm locations (needs to lose the coat). The whole live online thing was beyond annoying. The video feeds were very pixelated and morons kept reporting sightings which were nothing more than the pixelation. |

I've actually known about this for about a month, but it finally got leaked. I think people are going to be very excited when they find out what Amy and Adam are looking at doing.
