What that sounds like to me arles is you bought something in the ah from a character that was hacked.. and they just did a lazy trace on the items. Or hell maybe your account was compromised too. Alot of the time now hackers won't change the password

That may be, Ragone. I'm not losing much sleep over it though. Like I said, I was looking for a reason to stop playing and this made it pretty easy

What did you do exactly?
To the consternation of many, including some of our own guildies, I bought every piece of thick leather and sold it for my own price- at a rather large profit. Seems like that's just part of the AH game to me.

The only odd thing is I got the email at 2:00 AM this morning and I hadn't logged on all week. So, I'm wondering if my account got compromised in some manner. |

Yea i'm really believing your account got compromised arles.. cause general buy low-sell high ah style is actually recommended in several official wow strat guides that blizzard endorses

You didn't get banned because of what you were doing with the AH. Your account was compromised or you were unknowlingly buying from a gold seller or something.

The guild still exists in game. It is showing up on the Armory, but there's not many folks left. The World of Warcraft Armory |

Yeah I think it's just fozzie and an old alt of mine. No one has logged on in a few months. Meanwhile the server which used to be empty has grown to be one of the top rp servers in terms of population so much so that they opened up free character transfers off it recently. I've become an altaholic. I now have Deretha at 70 a feral druid at 70, a level 60 warlock, 47 Pally, and a priest in his 30's all horde and all on the perenolde server.
