The captain walks forward to the gates to allow everyone to leave the ship for the day. He unlocks the gate and turns to you and states that once again he has suspicions about not one.. but two of you and will be asking you to leave immediately.. He points his crew to take both Jeheinz and Nfg22 and help them off of the ship. Both of them protest that they had no desire but to enjoy a nice peaceful vacation, but you won't hear it from either of them.

The Captain watches them escorted off, and is about to turn around when out of nowhere, Chief Rum stabs him in the back with a knife. Kwhit walks up and grabs the microphone stating, "Attention passengers.. or the three of you that are left.. I am your new captain. I apologize but it does not appear that we will be returning to Miami... We have a new destination..." No sooner does he say this than up in the navigation room, you can see through the window Tazftw hits the engines and starts the ship in the process of leaving the port...

The Underground win!

List of extra powers/roles and their function:

1) The Jackal - Boyfriend (Spy role, could learn the daily actions of a player from the previous day.)

Just some notes about how various things worked in this game. The game in my mind was stacked against the wolves. The end result doesn't show that, but if everyone used the information that was given, I believe the wolves would have had a difficult time winning.

Daily vote: Anyone with over 40% of the daily vote from "active voters" was lynched. There were players with extra weight on their votes which was not factored in the consideration of the percentage.

The seer "role" existed in the Fortune teller which Anxiety used to clear Claphamsa early in the game. The fortune teller would have lasted until the Underground chose to kidnap her. Ironically enough, no one even chose to visit the Fortune teller the day after Claphamsa was cleared by it early on. I also was intrigued that the underground chose to kidnap the fortune teller before even half of the underground was chosen.

The underground started by Kwhit triggering being approached by them at the start. Everyone in the game that was approached by the underground had the option to turn them down and not become bad. Anxiety was the only one who chose to do so. If you turned down the underground, you would get "framed" for the crime for later purposes.

The police office that was an option once there was a death is a way to find out information about the where and when of the crime. Funny enough Anxiety the day he died was about to find out that Raiders Army was killed with his rusty sword. Qwikshot is the only other person who chose to get information and he picked Anxiety's death. Path12 I know as well as perhaps others didn't even choose this option.

The bodyguard protection necklace was not obvious when you received it what it was. However the people who got the pieces of it had the chance to go to town and find out information on it. Sonic Youth got 1/2 of it and chose to do so. Nfg got the other half and chose not to. Sonic passed his 1/2 to nfg who chose to wear it the entire game without even knowing what it did.. and Sonic Youth never told him.

I wasn't expecting the win to come now, but am awfully glad it did. I thought we'd have to do a night kill tonight and was worried about a possible bodyguard screwing everything up.

I didn't choose the option because I thought it would trigger an investigation that would keep us in port another day. I never thought I'd get information already investigated.

When the underground was converted, it actually took 2 turns for them to even become an underground member. First they became a henchman who had no information regarding who the other underground members were.. The henchmen received an order on what to do which they could turn down at any point. I thought for a while that Taz would follow Anxiety and turn them down as well.. he took so long to accept I almost assumed it at one point.

The place I think the villagers fell apart was failure to use the information available. Each day there was 2 locations that told everyone who was there. Based off of that information alone, there was enough information available to discern who was Raider's killer (Passacaglia), as well as who was Anxiety's Killer (Tazftw). Kwhit would have been figured out if people put together the information that Anxiety provided in that the underground members were approached, and the info was out there singling Kwhit at the wrong place at the wrong time.

The tough one based on the clues to figure out would have been Chief rum.. but ironically enough he lied about being on the boat the day that Lathum had the famous ropes cut.. and he could have been outed by Lathum there on complete accident.

That was the only difference. You all had the option to accept or turn down the underground. Anxiety turned it down and you did not.

here is the thing that got me.

Everyone was so paranoid about a conversion that no one trusted anyone else's information, after a while I think people just gave up trying to share info.

All sharing info did for me was get me verbaly attacked.

I think other than the Villagers not using the locational clues to narrow out the wolves, the other downfall was the huge back and forths that caused villagers to be super suspicious of other villagers. Several times it resulted in a show off that just didn't need to happen. This game was designed to be very analytical, and I think a big help for the wolves was to convert Chief Rum who seems to thrive on this type of scenerio as well as kill Hoopsguy early on who also I feel would have driven people to look at the clues on the table instead of instincts.

I PM'd Lathum after I was killed to find out if he was really a wolf, and was so shocked when he said no that I started believing he lied to me in the PM!

It's all from respect, dude.

I was the first wolf and converted CR. I then had the ability to make orders for each wolf until I had them establish their own communication with the underground - that let them pm with me and allowed them to make their own actions. But it took the place of their other night action such as a kill.

Basically, my strategy was to make a conversion, choose their first action for them (usually a kill or ship delaying tactic) and then the next night let them establish communications with the underground and become a full-fledged member. That seemed to work out well as it gave us a lot of actions up front but didn't make the other wolves feel like they didn't have any control (because they could turn down my order at any time).

Anxiety was the only one foolish enough to refuse. And you see where it got him.

You are right, that was a huge problem. It goes back to the old story of building trust.. I think the worst happened involving the bodyguard necklace.. all that had to be done was some sharing of information regarding it and then a very powerful item would have been used better.

Yeah, it was really weird to be a henchman. I knew I was on the underground's side, but I didn't know who any of them were, so I didn't know who to argue for.

Plus, I had made the only night kill in the game when I killed RA. I was wondering what the underground was doing, thinking I was joining a gang of bumbling idiots, or wondering if I was the first one to join it. I still can't believe that after killing RA and blaming cronin for it, people got on my case just because of those dumb-ass drugs (which I really did pass to PB, but totally made up the idea that I got knocked out myself as a result).

Alan, I never would have thought to use locational clues, even after Pass turned up bad. I just didn't think the kills could work that way.

The day Raiders Army was killed, there were enough people in places that could be vouched for that it could have only been one of 4 people who killed him. two of which died shortly after. Passacaglia should have been outed based on that alone two days before he was lynched. When Hoopsguy died, it was a similar situation that the majority of people were in a place that could be vouched for and only a handful of people were not verifiable.

Later on it became a problem that so many people started staying on the ship due to either choices they had or not getting their PM in that it became harder to verify people's locations later in the game.

I thought for sure people would start to look at who was at each location with Pass. I knew that was where the conversions took place, and assumed at some point the villagers would throw out that theory and start to look in my direction as I converted him.

Yep, I actually was worried that the locational clues would be so powerful that I tried to help the wolves out a bit there by putting in the killer's PM the message that other villagers in the area would have received, so no one would be outed for PM wording play. Based on locations alone, I could very easily have seen Chief Rum, Passacaglia and Tazftw all caught pretty easily!

Yes.

Basically, the only actions we had were a conversion, a kill, or a ship delaying action (there were more, but those were the only ones we used). h, or we oculd have a henchman contact the underground to become a full member.

And we could only have one person do each action in a night (so we couldn't have 2 kills in a day, for example). And once we did a ship delay action, it wasn't availble again for the rest of the game.
