I don't think I can even have an account because of the trees. When I moved here in October, they came out and saw that there was no way it would work. Bigfoot sees more of the sky than I do.

Had to go to the doctor today and get a shot in my ass. I'm greeted by a nurse that I recognize and a really attractive young asian woman who says "hi I'm a student and I'll be observing today". All I could think of to say was "uh ok." I know I missed a golden opportunity here to ratchet things up on the awkward meter by saying something ridiculously inappropriate, but for the life of me I can't really think of anything even after the fact.

We don't actually own this house. We're renting from a close friend as a favor to her....long story. We were going to to have to move anyway because of some serious problems at our old place (which my wife was at for 11 years), and it just worked out this way. Now that my health has gone down the tubes in recent months, this is hurting in areas much more important than DirecTV.

So yeah, I chose to move here, but I feel like I chose it in the same way I choose to walk down my stairs one step at a time, as opposed to leaping down 12 at once.

Not long after I first moved to Korea, I visited a doctor's office because of some digestion problems. The doctor, who spoke decent English, told me I needed to get a shot, so he sent me to his nurse, who spoke very little English. When I went into the room to receive my shot, she said, "Drop your pants," so I did. What she meant to say was, "Slightly pull down your pants so that I can give you a shot on the top of your buttocks." I didn't know that, and neither did she. But she did have a big smile when I left. I bet she started learning English more after that day. See. I am a great teacher!

I sure wish there was one facebook application I could block to get rid of all the fucking "CINDY JUST ENTERED THE WIN-FREE-JUICE SWEEPSTAKES" updates I get. I mean, it's everything from orange juice to ipads. Do these companies write their own app for each of these items? I try to hide all from the app and I get "Hide Win Free Juice" instead of "Hide all Free Item Sweepstakes App" or something.

And yes I know I could just hide the users, that isn't a good option in this case.

While it helps, it still contains aspects of the new design, which is slow as shit. And switching back doesn't always stay switched back - it occaisonally kicks you back to the new design.
