Edit: oops. Didn't see the next page. I vote the second red top over the first.

Ok, I kind of listened to that kind of rap in the late '80s/very early '90s. Is that Ice Cube on the left, and Chuck D 2nd from the right? I can't tell who the other two are. Maybe Easy E and Flava Flav with an awful mustache?

I'm pretty sure that's just NWA straight-up. Cube, Easy, Dre, and Ren.

Good Lord, it's been a long, long time. I think I mixed Public Enemy with NWA. Oh well, I'm old.

I'm pretty sure that's Arabian Prince, not MC Ren.

You could very well be right, since I can't really say I know what Ren looks like, and I've never even heard of Arabian Prince.

I basically just assumed it was Ren since he was standing next to the other 3 dudes.

Hey, I already said I got NWA and PE mixed up. I haven't listened to rap since A Tribe Called Quest stopped the whole "native tongue" thing. I can hardly remember 1989 stuff, let alone remember who's in what band, and what they look like. Cut me some slack muthafucka!!!

That NWA picture is so awesome. It was pretty easy to pass as 'hard' in the '80s. Acid wash is well represented, and a couple sad attempts at "clockin", but then there's Eazy's DOPE white deck shoes, and whatever in THEE FUCK Dre's shirt is all about. My mom might have that shirt.

Meh, Drew Goddard. Late seasons of Buffy. Late seasons of Alias. Late seasons of Lost. This guy ruins everything he touches. He also wrote Cloverfield, which was a great idea ruined by a terrible script.
