Danke. The Boise game is always a tough one and my hope at the beginning of the season was that Tharp wouldn't be any good and they would be rotating QBs throughout the year. Tharp turned out to be pretty good. Amazing job by the defense as they held Ian Johnson to 11 yards rushing in the 2nd half.

GT stuffs UGA on their first drive, bomb from their own 40 ... AND COREY EARLS DROPPED THE FUCKING BALL.

Bennett hits him in stride down the sideline, had the defender beat ... AND HE DROPPED THE FUCKING BALL

Ray Guy nominee Durant Brooks hits a skyliner, UGA returner fumbled it, scrum in the end zone ... and they call it a touchback instead of a safety

Right call (I think), but damned unfortunate.

Woohoo! UCF drove down to the three yard line, but then the Miners stud safety, Quentin Demps, picked the ball off and ran it back 100 yards for a TD! 17-16 Miners!

That's Demps second int return of 100 yards or more this season, and I believe third for his career...

Kentucky cuts the lead to 24-14 with 9:30 left 3rd quarter.
Nice drive.

edit to add: Tennessee gets stopped quickly, punts to the KY 33.

Meanwhile Wake Forest looks content to end Vandy's hopes of getting bowl eligible early, now 21-3 Deacs early in Q3. And UCLA has an early 3-0 lead on Oregon.

And UGA gets a long run from Thomas Brown to cross midfield, GT stops 'em ... but a defensive holding call on a 4th down pass play keeps the drive alive

Kentucky answers a UT score, now 31-21 with :01 left the in the 3rd.

GT gets a couple of nice runs from Choice, takes a 7-3 lead early in Q2

Ainge gets picked at their own 39, momentum has swung to Kentucky very early in the 4th quarter. Woodson is in rhythm, this could get real close real quick.

edit to add: Defense comes up with a stop, thanks to a sack on 3rd & 6 (by Jerod Mayo, who played so well against McFadden & Arkansas).

And Stafford runs one in to put Georgia back in front 10-7 in Q2.

Mayo decapitates Tamme on a pass over the middle, ball bounces straight into the hands of a UT defender. Vols ball with 4 mins left but it's already 3rd down with a couple of stops by the Cats.

And UGA is back in front 16-14 (missed PAT) thanks to a bad PI call that kept the drive alive.

MF'ing Bennett airmails two passes, then fumbles the snap & takes GT out of FG range.

edit to add: Bell just missed a 62 yd FGA anyway.

Under two minutes, Kentucky converts on 3rd & long, gets out to their 41.

edit to add: Holding moves KY back 10 yards, but Tennessee has lost Mayo & Xavier Mitchell on back to back plays.

Now 1st down on a little swing, Cats just past midfield. Inside handoff to Little gets about 3, 1:18 left in regulation, timeout Kentucky.

Dumpoff to Little on two straight plays, 1st down KY to the 31, about 45 secs to go.
Incomplete 2nd & 10, 0:44 left
Illegal substitution, Derrick Locke 12th man on the field, backs KY up.
Incomplete, almost picked off by Berry
Two missed tackles & it's a Kentucky first down with 0:27 to play at the 20.
Complete to the 6 yard line with 0:22

Even though you have a TO remaining, why not do a play action. I think everyone knew you were going to run the ball.

Unfrigginbelieveable. Woodson dropped the snap, fumbled around, finally just missed an open receiver with :01 left. 27 yd FGA upcoming, timeout Tennessee.

Shades of Clint Stoerner.

And we're headed to OT, 31-31.

With the Vol defense, no lead is safe (although conservative playcalling had a lot to do with this collapse)

Incidentally, 18 plays, 80ish yards, in 3 minutes & change. Who the hell runs 18 plays in three minutes?

I know it doesn't mean a lot to those outside the mountain west, but hell yeah!!! BYU defeats Utah 17-10, scoring on their final drive of the game for the second year in a row.

These two teams have as much genuine hate for each other as anybody in the country and it is a shame the MWC signed such a shitty TV deal. Getting exposure for a non-BCS conference is tough enough and the powers that be are just stupid for not staying with ESPN.

This is as bitter a rivalry as you will find in college Football and always a hard fought, physical game, too bad more people aren't exposed to it.

At least myself and Macro Guru can appreciate it I guess

Even whackier shit in Atlanta.

Fumbled backwards lateral by Georgia recovered by GT, returned inside the 5, fumbled again through the end zone. End result is Georgia ball at their own 20 with a new set of downs.

Doubt anyone except Bug is watching the UCLA - Oregon game, but it is just absolutely unbelievable how bad this officiating crew is. UCLA receiver just dropped the ball and it bounced back into his hands, ruled a catch and took a minute plus to overrule.

This is the same crew that blew an Oregon State game earlier in the season.

LOL, funny looking play on the failed 2-pt try. Looked almost like what happened in Atlanta minutes earlier.

TD Austin Rogers from Ainge to tie it. 2 pt'er for the win coming up.

edit to add: I hate to break it to the CBS announcers, but "Mike" Richt is a little busy at the moment & probably isn't watching (and was pretty forceful earlier in the week about not wanting to know the outcome of the UT-KY game during his own)
