With the new change of possession clock rule, I don't think Tech is gonna be able to run more than a couple of plays if they get a stop here.

Colt McCoy is the real deal. General consensus was that he would cost Texas a game or two this season. Anything but the case.

I never root for Texas, but I did get a chuckle out of Texas Tech getting jobbed by the officials. Karma is a bitch.

Not to mention that it's gotta drive opponents nuts that they're getting beat by an 8 year old.

That was an ugly ending. Referee cost USC a good 10 seconds with the spot on second down, then the OL catching that batted ball was unlucky.

no doubt ... 1:06 left when they start, and they barely get three actual plays off. Yuck!

It's certainly causing John Brantley to think long and hard about his verbal commitment to Texas.

As did VY's play to Ryan Perilloux. What does OU have to offer at this point over other collegiate programs?

The opportunity for Brantley to be a four year starter after his redshirt season?

Not to mention a top program, a young offensive line that continues to improve and a fantastic collection of wide receivers.

I'll be honest and say that I don't know much about Brantley (meaning, I haven't seen much film on him). But I don't care that much where he goes. I think OU will get and already have some quality QBs. That said, I can't see how going to Texas in this situation is a smart move for him.

As I say many other times, though, only time will tell.

Is that really how far Zero-U's program has fallen?

Fallen? They are loaded with NFL talent at every position group for the next three years except quarterback, which presents a fantastic opportunity for Brantley, as opposed to possibly sitting on the bench for the next three years at Texas. When Brantley made his verbal commitment, Colt McCoy was seen as the weak link in Texas' offense.

If that is what it takes you to get through the night...

I can give you some insights to hotel rooms in El Paso or San Antonio, depending on if you feel more confident on going to the Sun Bowl or the Alamo Bowl...

Thanks for the offer, but I really don't have any interest in watching Texas Tech or Missouri in a bowl game.

If there is justice in the world. They haven't exactly looked good the last few games, they have arguably the worst loss out of the one loss teams, plus, they were getting blown out so I see them falling to about 12.

I love the Dola 6X , and it's nice watching an offense that is on pace to be the best offense in the history of the NCAA. As well as having the most efficient QB in history as well.

Best "passing" offense in history. Maybe. Don't mean to rain on too much of your parade, but Hawaii is 94th in the nation in rushing.

Being a good passing team and great and all but just ask Missouri and Texas Tech how good their rushing attack was when they needed to pick up a 4th and 1 in crucial situations yesterday with their high octane spread offenses.

They need aroun 100 yards more passing a game to be the best passing team ever. and about 15 points a game.

Yep. Besides the other points, quality of opponents has to figure into the equation.
