I'm surprised that no Rb's have been selected yet.

If the Lions are serious about wanting a back in the second round, this is good...

Yep.. and I never thought this would happen!

Philly is sitting pretty right now, though.

Losman is a tough little bastard, his O-line in college was worse than the bills line has been, so he'll be used to getting shelled regularly.

he still put up some awesome numbers even while landing on his backside more often than not.
Buffalo was going to be spending the first rounder next year on a QB either way, so this is a pretty solid pick overall.

Take the rose coloured glasses off dude, another bad bad draft day move by a Buffalo front office that is making a habit off of it. Matt Schaub who you could have had in the second easily is almost as good as Losman. Now you have a marginal QB prospect to go with your WR with chronic injury problems that you overpaid horribly for at 13, and you mortgaged the rest of this draft and the first round pick next year.

Wasn't Tubbs projected a 2nd or 3rd rounder?

So what's the deal with RB Jackson? How does he fall this far, past so many teams that seem to have a real need at RB?

Yeah, Philly does need a back.
Philly could pick Kevin Jones over Jackson.

RendeR - While Losman might be a good prospect...I still think you guys gave up way too much for him.

Very nice choice by the Rams. That gives them a more physical presence at RB to compliment Faulk, plus be his eventual replacement. I'm not sure if he's the guy you really want for a dome team, but nevertheless, they got great value at this pick.

Sorry, that was a Kiper-like feeling that came over me.

That's a great move by St. Louis. Faulk is starting to wear down, and Stephen Jackson has the skills to play in that offense.

Oh, and good move by the Bengals to get more picks. Might be they are indeed aiming for Gamble, but didn't want to take him that high.

Dallas does need a running back. Apparently they didn't think the difference between Jackson and some of the others was great enough to offset getting a first round pick next year and a 5th round pick this year.

I saw both play in the Pac-10. Canidate was a reach in the 1st round. He was a speed guy, but didn't show great change of direction, didn't display the best hands in the world and wasn't a guy that could get the tough yards between the tackles in traffic.

Jackson on the other hand lacks only top-end speed, and he's no slouch in that department either. He's got all the skills you want in a RB.

Wow this has to be the strangest draft I have seen in awhile. I thought Jackson would be gone in the Top-15 but going to St. Louis has shocked me. Green Bay will take either Gamble or Sean Jones or Shawnte Spencer

but you're forgetting one very important factor:

he's a Ram, and Martz is an IDIOT, therefore Martz will throw throw run throw throw and never use him properly.
