The final 4 races of Season 12 should all be run sometime this week. Thanks to everyone for staying with the series this season despite the long break over Spring Break and the computer crash setback.

Rookie Casey Brow has had a horrible season. That was until today when he led 232 of 334 laps en route to picking up the win in the Texas Crashfest. Many title contenders weren't able to finish the race today. Rewbie Newsday finished 30th after a wreck. Rewbie Bluesday finished 23rd after a wreck. Kai Collins and Ren Snow ran well though, finishing 4th and 5th.

Ren Snow regains the point lead after a Top Five finish. Kai Collins and Rewbie Newsday are both 42 back, but Collins holds the tiebreaker with the most wins between them. Rewbie Bluesday is 4th, 72 back, and Nick Phillips Jr. is 5th, 106 behind the leader.

I completely missed the last race somehow. That failure to qualify ended any shot Sterling had of trying to at 1st. LJ was making a nice charge but an accident ended his day early in the most recent race
Now they're both hanging out in the low teens. But the good news is that if things go well the last couple of races, I could have two racers in the top 10 SI

If only I could have taken advantage of all the wrecks that leaders got in.

Slowly climbing my way back up the standings. A decent finish the next two races and maybe Jeeber can finish the season in the top five...

This year has been a success in the eyes of Phillips Racing. With Mustafa Henderson comming on strong the last few races to make his way up towards the front of the point standings. Phillips Jr. may still be able to reach the title and clinch the rookie of the year title as well. With all of this excitement with 3 drivers in the top 10 in points it is hard to forget about Nick Phillips senior. It has been rumored that he may come back for next years Daytona 500 or possibly the whole season. If he does come back he may not be with Phillips Racing so he would be looking for some one else to drive for he is still waiting for offers.

Rewbie Bluesday's day started great. He took the pole and led 59 laps. But after being involved in an accident his car was never the same and he finished 29th. Mustafa Henderson led 166 laps throughout the day and then held off Casey Brow to take the victory.

With two races left, there are still a few drivers who could take the championship. Ren Snow leads by only 5 points over his former teammate Kai Collins. The Rewbie's, Newsday and Bluesday find themselves 3rd and 4th. Newsday is only 19 back of the lead, Bluesday is 100. Teammates Billy Bushinhimer and Mustafa Henderson are 5th and 6th, 125 and 127 back respectively.

As always at Daytona it was back and forth all day between many leaders. A group of 6 cars pulled away late and battled it out among themselves. Paul Tracy was able to hold off David Gonzalez and Jeeber D Mack to take the win.

With only one race remaining, it is essentially a three driver race for the title. Rewbie Newsday holds a slight advantage over Ren Snow and Kai Collins. Jeeber D Mack has an outside shot at the title yet. Billy Bushinhimer and Mustafa Henderson haven't been mathematically eliminated yet, but the chances that either one could win is very very slim. Nick Phillips Jr. is now officially the FOFC Nextel Cup Season 12 Rookie of the Year.

The results to the final race of the season, the Ford 400 from Homestead might be up later tonight. If not they will be up tomorrow. Also tomorrow, the new signup thread for Season 13 will be up. If you signed up for Season 12 you will already be set for Season 12 though.

Just a little heads up before the final race is run and the new signup thread is up. There are only six drivers who will need to signup if they want to run in Season 13. Here are those drivers.
2 Daniel Ertmann - illinifan999 3 Shane Kormelink - Shorty3281 21 Parris Duffus - BillyNYC 30 John Condor - condor 75 Rob Nielsen - Coffee Warlord 87 Sloppy Joe - Superman=#54 Any new driver that wants in will get a spot if these 6 do not sign up. Also, if any driver who currently only has one driver would like a second driver who are welcome to signup for another car. New drivers will have priority over those signup's though. Then if you have two drivers and would like a third, you can also signup for a third. Once again though new drivers and drivers with one car will have priority. Also, I have already run the final race. But I'll keep everyone in suspense for a while. I will probably post those results tonight after 10:00 PM EST. |

Kool Breeze got lucky early on when he was the only car that still hadn't pitted when a caution flag flew. Eventually It's Craptacular made his way onto the lead lap but Kool Breeze took the win. Ren Snow finished 6th, Newsday was 12th and Collins 16th.

Ren Snow becomes the 3rd different Snow to win a title. Rewbie Newsday once again is the runner-up. Kai Collins ends his solid season in 3rd. Jeeber D Mack follows up his championship with a nice 4th place finish the standings. Billy Bushinhimer finishes in 5th. Rewbie Bluesday, Sonny Daze, Kool Breeze, Mustafa Henderson and Nick Phillips Jr. round out the Top Ten.

BOOOyah, back in the saddle again!!!
"Man I just gotta thank my team, my mom and dad who stuck with me even when we had some lean years and growing pains. This whole sport is about family and every member of our team is just that, family." Season 12 Champion Ren Snow said in an interview after clinching the 7th Nascar Points title for the Snow clan. "Mom helped me a ton this year, she started strong and then hit some rough spots, and watching her deal with the adversity after having run so well really gave me the confidence to push harder and get to the front. My father put the best equipment under me, and even when I wrecked it, he kept my confidence high and gave me the advice I needed to learn from those errors." (wipes tears from his eyes) "I gotta say, that when dad retired I was crushed, and when he told me I'd be driving the Coor's Light Chevy, I was scared to death. I mean, he made that team and that car the dominant force in this series. I was petrified. Its all worth it now though, all the fear, sweat, work, and even blood, its all worth it to see that car up on top of the points and the front table at the banquet ain't bad either!!" |

Rewbie finishes second....AGAIN??? That's the third frickin' time!
No need to post another retirement notice. Newsday is done--one of the most successful but least decorated racers in FOFC racing history. In other news, please open a spot in the roster, for fellow runningmate, Rewbie Bluesday, in the #48 Lowe's car, announces his retirement as well. Rewbie racing, a successful business that made owner revrew millions has now folded. Look for revrew on a monster.com commercial soon: "I made millions managing a successful sporting corporation. Now I want to move into the poultry industry. I'm certain my skills and experience could be of great benefit to a corporation needing to finish...second...in it's industry."
