I drew a tough div 4 team. His whole team posts 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 stars. So i think ill just play my back-ups with a 5-4-1 and hope i dont get crushed to bad.
Ill have an opening in Week three for a friendly

I drew a pretty weak Div V team, so hopefully, I'll be moving on to the next round.
His keeper has a 50k value and picked up a whopping 1/2 star in his last league match.

I drew a team that has outscored teams 20-1 last 2 games. That's almost how many I scored all last season. Needless to say, I am at home.

I got my 2nd straight 9-0 win against some series VI guy, this time not computer controlled. Next week, I can win my cup game at home against a div IV team. This guy plays all out offense but leaves his middle open and plays the same asymmetric 3-4-3 every game. With some of DK's tactical advice, I should be able to take this guy. Still, he gets solids across his front line on attack.
At least now my main computer is back up and running so I should be able to get in some updates. SI

I ended up winning 5-0 (pretty cool you guys were following it early). For my reward, I get to play a IV team with the guy bragging on the front page he has 2 million to spend on forwards for next week!

My Cheapshots drew a bot team in round two, at their place. We notched a solid 3-0 win with a half-starter squad, and got some decent experience for a few reserves.

I play a D4 team, whose goalie put up 3* last game, and I am probably going to lose to him. Oh well, time to start scouting out international teams for friendlies.

I play a div IV team. They haven't logged in in over 5 weeks, so their tactic won't be changing, but the amount of raw skill on the team will be tough to beat. They get an OUTSTANDING on left side attack!?!

moriarty: Rocha is impressive! My best guy has 62 career goals.
Seriously, though, you probably want to notify a GM about Rocha. That certainly doesn't look right.

Yeah, you're probably right Dataking.
I'm tempted to start him Sunday though just to see if he can score another 212 goals in his second league game. |

It's a known bug -- many of the player cards got messed up after last weeks league games. I have a guy w/ 70 league goals this season when its actually 2.

If you check your series top scorers leaderboard -- those goals are correct.

Well my scrub-Toads beat a bot team 5-1. Next we have a fellow Div V team yet again on the road. I don't think my scrubs will beat them so we will probably be out next round.
Ardent won 4-0 and he faces a Div V team also.

The Calibiri drew a fellow D5'er who got a new owner at the end of last month.
By the way, does anyone know how they figure seeds to figure out who gets the home game? |

They use the order that you finished in your division, then (I think) points & goal differential.

Incidently...how many have pulled decently at weak or less in youth league?
How much of a luck of the draw is it? If I'm at weak, is it still better to try for a keeper or are the odds sickenly high no matter what choice I have? We need Quiksand to do something about this.

Well, for what it's worth, my best pull ever was a Weak keeper. Pulled him when my Youth Squad was Weak.

Qwik, can't help you here 'cause even when pulling keepers, I got only crap to show for it. Four WRETCHED keepers before getting and inadequate one. That last one is now my 2 stars backup and was pulled when my youth squad had just reached passable status...

I'd prefer it if you didn't. I gave the froggy Canadian one a break due to his contributions to the FOFC Hattrick community, or something. Next time, I'll cook him up & hang him over HornedFrog Purple's stadium/swamp as a warning to all frogs.

YAY!!!
Training seems to be done for my team. I had one player go up in skill: Ted Ortega up from passable playmaking to solid playmaking. Not happy with the form updates though. Many guys went down. My keeper is now down to weak. I need him at at least inadequate. He usually gets 2.5*, now he is gonna drop. Now just need to wait a season for my solid middies to hit excellent, and solid and I'm ready to start training something else.
