Yeah, I was surprised he lasted this long. Though there are legitimate concerns that Vick hasn't played at all during the preseason and thus may be very rusty on the West Coast Offence.

I was wondering when that would happen. At least you caught it yourself, though.
We're really keeping up a good pace today. We might be able to finish two rounds if things go quick this evening. |

I've also been wondering when we would have a repeat and am quite embarassed that I was the one to do it. I've been checking the list before and after each pick. This time I only noticed it after I made the pick. |

I'm kind of surprised to see Harrington go this early. I had planned on taking him as my backup. I think he'll do well this year, though. He was basically my sleeper pick at QB.

In my book, he's pretty even with the rest of the starting guys that are still on the table. Youth combined with the additions of Rogers and Williams pushes him up my draft charts a bit. Still, unless McNabb is hurt, he'll mostly sit for me this year, I imagine.

Unless he left a proxy list with someone, I don't think he will be back until later tonight or tomorrow.
Edited: Re-read his post. He should be back around 10... so hopefully we can get a few more picks in later tonight.

So far, I think Lathum and timmynausea's teams scare me most.

I wouldn't count my team for much, considering I don't even know my team that well. Only pick I've made so far is Chambers.
About Joey Harrington, I had him ranked highly as well. With Kevin Jones and their two good WR, I think the Lions' offense will be good this year. |

In all seriousness though, it's a make or break season for him. It won't help that the QB situation there is a mess. I think knowing that he's the #1 guy now and in a contract year, will all help out.... How about.... 1,200 yards and 8 TDs.... Last edited by TLK : 08-31-2004 at 11:39 PM. |

Have to take a WR, and I want at least one Steeler player on my team. I'm hoping for 1000 yards, 7 TD for Burress. |

Thanks MV. I'm always a little leary of taking a fantasy player from my favorite team because I might be biased...hopefully in this case I'm just better informed.

.5 hours for Lathum.
After round 8, we are going to 2 hours per pick. It has to be done, sorry. Last edited by sachmo71 : 09-01-2004 at 11:27 AM. |

Ok, so there's still two rounds left before the 2 hour thing, but how exactly does the proxy list work?
I'm not sure I can be here within 2 hours for each of my picks (depending on the time of course), so I'd need someone else to pick for me. However, since I pick fairly close together, giving my list to someone may result in the person having an advantage over me, and picking my #1 guy just because they can. Unless, of course, everyone here can be trusted? |

MikeVic, I pick where I wont be sandwiched between you, so I should be able to do your proxy if necessary.
Im also available most of today, so anyone who needs a proxy, Im willing to do it. |

IF you put together a list of 24 people, then you are good for 2 rounds.
I'd perfer if you sent your list to me, because then I don't have to worry about your proxy showing up. If you don't trust me, I can understand that, so you can handle that however you wish. If somehow we go through more than two rounds, then I'll wait the full two hours. If you sent me a list and we get past it, I'll stop at the end of the second round so everyone can catch up. |
