Ha, ok my bad. I have a Dolphins friend who keeps bringing up the Sharper fumble tonight so I am a little quick on the gun on that one.

It will be a very happy day when Kevin Dockery finally gets cut by the Giants. He isn't content with screwing up the defense, he tried to screw up the special teams.

Which we all know given your perfect record of predicting MVPs in baseball and football will mean they will be shitty.

Um, you need to look no further than the other side of the field to find a better tandem. Fitz + Boldin + Breaston are as good as you can get.

I'm not watching the game (watching baseball), what is up with Steve Smith this game - just no throws yet, or is he hurt?

did you miss where I said 2 years from now?

Smith leads the NFL in receiving, Manningham has developed nicely and as a rookie Nicks looks amazing.

I agree, the Cards receivers are amazing, but the Giants have an insane amount of talent at the position and the best QB since YA Tiddle throwing it to them.

If you're going to homer a bit, can you at least spell your own team legend's name right?

Minnesota's amazing, incredible, Adrian-Peterson-wouldn't-be-able-to-get-50-yards-against-them run defense allowed 5.3 yards per carry today.

What are the Giants freaking doing in this second half?

"Let's run the ball twice. That won't lead us to third-and-long!"
Three straight 3-and-outs later... Cromartie is off the field--THE reason why arizona is leading.
"Oh. Uh. Let's run the ball twice! They'll be expecting the pass!"

WTF. I could call plays better than that. Freaking play-action pass. Suck the safeties into the box and blast Cromartie's backup on the first play he's on the field.

Nice job!

Would you believe me if I told you the Steelers did a nice job with a surprise rush attack and Mendenhall was able to get the corner a couple of times usually patrolled by Winfield?

They did the same thing the Lions do to get some yards running the ball off the Vikings. They run on pass downs and keep them off balance. Mendenhall is a good back as well I was very impressed until he fumbled.

Hmm. So can someone explain to me why the giants aren't running crossing routes and posts against these run blitzes on first down?

I think you're crazy putting the Steelers in the same breath as the Lions. What an insult to the Lions.

Manningham drop. Awful.

But Smith catch. Nice. Look at that: crossing route over the middle.

Brandon Jacobs dances too damn much.

I stand by my opinion Bradshaw is the best runner on that team and is criminally underutilized.
