Why do coaches (Petrino in this case) continually let 4-5 seconds run off the clock before calling a timeout?

Florida did not look like the #1 team in the country, and didn't dominate like they should. why do they deserve to be the bcs #1?

So according to the announcer you can re try a kick after a blocked kick? I am going to assume he is a moron, right?

If you recover a blocked FG & it wasn't 4th down, then yes, you can kick again.
(no idea if that was the context but that's how the statement would make sense)

Yeah the announcers are also some of the worst I've ever sat through, too. This idiot thought it would be an incomplete pass on the long TD pass to Childs when he caught and ran 40 yards and fumbled at the goal line.

3-0 Va Tech 4 mins left in the 1st half.
GT with no offense to speak of so far, with VPI taking away the inside completely.

ND has a 4th and 10 from USC's 29 with 42 seconds left. They are down 34-27.

I just started laughing when I remembered Urban Meyer worrying about the refs throwing a flag on Florida for celebrating near the end of that game.

I have a feeling if he didn't look at the ref after that shove, he wouldn't have got a flag.

What's the time limit for how long you have to review a play? Usually you have until the next play starts, but if the game is called over?

Damn Texas, Florida, and USC all could of lost easily today. But I guess good teams find ways to win.

Clausen looked brilliant on that drive until the last two plays (and the one horribly thrown jump ball). Bummer of an ending to a great game.
