Ugh...I'm screwed in my fantasy league unless TO has a huge game. Does that mean I finally have to root for TO?!?

A) It was an auto-draft, and I signed up at the last minute and didn't get a chance to adjust my list.
B) I got an offer for him...TO for Desmond Mason. My reputation preceded me, I think. And I'm not a TOTAL idiot. C) I never said I wouldn't have anything to do with him, I just said that I would never root for his bitch ass.

Cowboys wanted no part of Hester.

So he's on your fantasy team and you aren't going to root for him? Hmmm. . . It might be nice for Rex if his WR catch the ball instead of drop it. Or maybe block for him if that fails. I'll be interested to see how Romo looks against a real defense. He tore apart a couple of pretty mediocre (in my estimation) defenses. The Bears aren't mediocre by any stretch. Also interested to see if for the first time ever, Jones looks like a better back than Barber. My guesses are : 1) Romo will look good, not great against the Bears D 2) Barber, as usual, will be the better RB |

I'd be drinking too if I knew I had to go up against the Bears defense later tonight.

I liked Daniel Graham, but he was pretty good at doing this with the Pats. He dropped some he should have caught and made easy catches look hard. I definitely think Denver over paid for him. Nice guy though. I hope he picks it up. |

I heart joe gibbs, even if he is a sanctimonious, sententious, washed-up old fool. As long as he's the offensive genius of the Foreskins, the Giants can never be any worse than 2-14, no matter how many bodies go on IR.

I hate that the Bears had to settle for a FG on that drive. Rex's decent start coupled with a touchdown would have been a huge vote of confidence for the Bears to begin the game with. Instead we settle for 3.

Typically this is where to keep an eye on Grossman to see if he feels too much pressure and tries to do too much to appease the 70k in the stadium.

Is anyone else having troubles with NBC going in and out of HD broadcasting? I'm sure it's not my TV, I dunno if it's our provider or if its nationwide.

I don't feel as bad for benching McNabb now....OK not really, still sucks! Started Delhomme instead, figuring he'd eat up ATL Luckily, I also had Boldin, and am down 1 point with Saints D tomorrow night. At least, I think that's good... :gulp:

Did you see the bizarre ass replay in Pittsburgh. Ruling on the field was an interception. Depending on who you cheer for it was either of the following: 1. Davis got two feet down on a catch, and then hit the turf. The ground can't cause a fumble, so it should have been a completion, niners ball first and 10* 2. Or, since the ball never hit the ground, and popped up into a Pittsburgh players hand, it should have been an interception. Ruling on the field: Incomplete pass.....wtf? Around the 2:00 mark on this video http://www.nfl.com/videos?videoId=09000d5d8029b7eb *This one bad call was the MAIN reason the niners lost. Nothing to do with the fact that Gore went for 2.8ypc, or their team gave up over 200 rushing yards. Last edited by stevew : 09-23-2007 at 09:39 PM. |

If there is one travesty of justice in the NFL, it's that Julius Jones starts over Marion Barber III.

Should be 34-10, except for broken butter fingers dropping the TD pass.

So the wife dragged me away from the computer to watch the game while eating dinner. Can't say I'm all that unhappy with how things have transpired since then...
