If you sliced him, would we still have to vote for DT then? We could end up having to take two out. Little too early to tell if that's a good idea or not.

For the record, I bid on Ardentus yesterday, as according to the plan we came up with. I lost of course.

When I suspect him of being a tarq, that's not flaky. And oh look, no kill from the tarqs. Maybe, I was right and maybe there was a bg block we have yet to hear from, but you have to at least admit the possibilty that I was right on with eh sex slaves. And btw, I was not nearly the only one to find AE suspicious over teh past few days either.

I agree, early to say, but it does present us an opportunity. We have no known traitor kills so far, and this is the first day without a poisoning, so I'm sure we're far behind. If we could pull off two kills we might get back into it. My suspicion in Anxietus has only deepened, but we need to examine Daddyus too. |

I agree. I have a lot of suspicion of Ardentus too, as do many of us. But I didn't jail him because I didn't want to lose his actions. I'm not sure how to clear Ardentus of our suspicions, have we determined if he can scan himself? |

well i'll say this. I bid on both lawyers, although with my lack of wealth I doubt i'll win either one. I'm innocent...just a normal boring senator. But i'm also so thoroughly confused by all the mechanics of this game and what-not, that at least losing me is just losing a number and not losing a lot of analysis. Hopefully I get a laywer and they can clear me though.

oh...can I not? I dunno...we're what...7 days in? Goes to show what I remember of the rules. Guess I'll have to send another PM to cronin specifying which lawyer. I just said "I want a lawyer!" to him. I havn't been doing a lot of bidding, so I didn't remember the exact rules. |

Yeah, maybe. We haven't had any successful bodyguard blocks yet, have we? I'm just not sure what we know. The lawyer function works different than we expected. Well actually most everything worked different than expected, so I wouldn't assume anything. Perhaps the hirer gets notice, or perhaps the intended victim, or maybe just the attacker. Or some combination. Has anyone who's used the bodyguard in the past gotten any sort of notice from its use, even on a failure? |

Yeah, I checked up on that a while ago. Only one bid. Sounds like another opportunity for a mess up and lost bid/arrest/execution/etc. It will be of interest to see how this turns out as if you win a lawyer they'll be occupied in defending you. I've got to go back and look at that bid list to see hwat people are supposed to have gotten. Anyway, I'm going to bed finally. I hope to read some interesting details tomorrow. |

Dola, I want to take that last post back. I went back and checked and you've been straight up about not bidding. Matter of fact you've shot up my trust meter after reading back. What is the case against Daddyus?

I was 50% expecting to get a message telling me I was converted today. I didn't. All I got was a return message from CR and a message that DC was good. Sorry DC.
Going to read through now and post my thoughts. |

You know what sucks? What sucks is going back through both jail candidates posts and then deciding that you think both of them are good. That's what sucks.

path...i bid once for the sex slaves on like...D2 I think. After that I was just like "well I have no money...why bother." that and I was so damm confused by the game mechanics.
So I sent cronin a PM saying "i want to bid on both lawyers" figuring that if I was outbid for the 1st I'd have a conditional sort of bid on the 2nd. That was a snap-PM from me, I didn't go back to read the rules on bidding. But I suppose it would make sense I could only bid on one, so i'd assume cronin will just ignore my invalid-PM and i'll end up with no bid, so the lawyers will be free. the case against me I think is that I was quite UTR for a few days, because I am STILL having a hard time with the game mechanics, and with all the bad luck we've drawn this game in terms of people. Plus, everytime I did post something it was basically ignored/glossed over, which tends to make me not want to post. |

not that I don't appreciate the support because I do, but WHY do you believe it? just saying you believe the whole thing without reason smacks of someone trying to buy trust when I show up good. and you're too good of a player to be saying something so conclusive as "i believe this entire post" without reason. I'll give you some benefit of the doubt because it's late night, but i'd really like to hear a why, or see if this raised anyone else's eyebrows. thanks for the support though path. hopefully my questioning of you will make you support me even further as it makes you realize that I am indeed good, instead of causing a selfish backpedeling. |

OK. Where did the kill go? Unless the block is completely opaque and someone tried to hit me and missed and neither Pass nor I got a message about it (I severely doubt it) then it looks like there hasn't been a kill attempt at all. (DT and Mustang both didn't bid for the bodyguard - I was sort of hinting to them that they should claim it anyway, but they seemed to have missed that, luckily it doesn't appear to have mattered). Not only that but there appears to be a swordsman who KWhit bid on and didn't get the services of and KWhit is in the top tier of the wealth table. DC got Ardent. Anxiety got the sex slaves. And KWhit bid on and didn't get the swordsman.
Meanwhile the philosopher is unaccounted for. Does he convert? It sounded like it to me. Apparently the bad guys were as well as one of them has lied in order to take him. Thinking about it that might explain why there was no poisoning, maybe it's a game balance issue. Again I would like to ask to be scanned. I asked yesterday and I'm asking again. My role is too powerful to go without being checked. |

The wealthiest men in Rome are:
Abeus Anxietus - Bid Pimp Bloke #2088/#2200 - Succeded #2414 Dodgeus Erchickus - Bid Ardent #2205 Succeded #2453 Kayus Whitus - Bid Swordsman #2224 Failed #2460 The following Senators are known to be extremely wealthy: Coffeus Yakus Warlordus - Bid Swordsman #2071. Failed #2294. Ironus Headus - Bid Senna #2269. Failed #2331 Passus Caglius - Bid Vitus Avidus #2069 Succeded #2399 Pathus Twelvus - Bid Ardent #2275. Failed #2340 The following Senators are of moderate wealth: Autumnus Leavus - Failed on Ardent #2327 Barkeepus Valerius Fortynineus - Bid Ardent #2192. Failed #2403 Chiefus Rumus - Bid Pimp #2059 Failed #2370 Narcizus Lispus - [Bid Swordsman] Failed #2353. The following (remaining) Senators are of ordinary wealth for the Senatorial class: Ardentus Enthusiastus - Failed on Pimp Dude #2440 Chubbus Chubbus - couldn't bid Daddyus Torgous - Failed (unsurprisingly) on "both" lawyers #2678 Grammus Atticus - Bid Swordsman #2206. Failed #2328 Mustangus Sallus - No Bid #2613 Tyrus Ithus - Fastus Felix #2314 Here we go then and the results are, quite frankly, a bit, erm, anomalous. I've been trying to figure it out but, well, I can't. |

I think I've got it.
I) Anxiety used the sex slaves and was upfront about what he did. We have no reason to doubt that. 2) Dodgerchick claims she got Ardent. As she's good I can't see any reason why she should lie. We also know that Autumn or Barkeep claimed that they placed a bid on Ardent and didn't succede. 3) KWhit claims he bid and failed on the swordsman. Which means that someone is lying 4) Coffee claims he bid and failed on the swordsman. Which means that someone is lying. 5) Ironhead claims he bid and failed on the philosopher. Which means that someone is lying. 6) Pass claims he bid and succeded on the bodyguard. He also states that he put it on me. He could be lying. 7) Path claims he bid on Ardent and failed. That would make sense if Dodgerchick was telling the truth. So KWhit must be lying. Which in turn means that Coffee must be lying. Unless Dodgerchick was lying. In which case Autumn or Barkeep is lying. |
