ITC and KWhit voted for each other and I had to pick a side. Since KWhit bounced his idol over to Oz early in the game, and due to the deliberations I mentioned here on Saturday, I voted ITC as well. -Anxiety

C’mon in Survivors. I see everyone made it through the night. That’s a good thing.
It’s a big day today. Drop your buffs. You are now a single tribe with a new tribal buff of black. All discussion will now be in this thread. There are no more tribes, Survivor is an individual game now. The end is near, but then again so are the wolves. Today’s challenge asks how well you know your fellow Survivors. Below is a list of questions about your fellow remaining Survivors and 1 tiebreaker question about your moderator. Your job is simple: answer as many of these questions as you can. Here are the questions (and please realize some could have more than 1 answer). 1. Which Survivor has never seen the television show? 2. Which Survivor named a meat topping that is not Pepperoni as their favorite pizza topping? 3. What is the most popular TV show? 4. Whose favorite game is EU3? 5. Which Survivor thought that a game other than FOF2k7 was their favorite (if a player listed 2k7 as a co-favorite they do not count for this question)? 6. Which Survivor listed a baseball team as their favorite Sports team (including those who listed more than 1 favorite team)? 7. Which Survivor named a Diet drink as their favorite? Tiebreaker: Which TV show, Season of Survivor, and FOF game is the favorite of a Survivor and also Barkeep? The winning Survivor will get to choose either a list or an item. If we have exactly 2 winners, even after the tiebreaker, than each winner will get 1 item. If we have more than 2 winners, those winners will not receive any items. All winners of the challenge are also safe at tribal council All answers should be PM’ed to me by 10 PM tonight. Make sure to include which item is your first choice in the PM. Good luck Survivors. |

Barkeep, a couple of questions.
Are the answers to these questions only among the remaining survivors, or all of the people who started? Also is there a list of items we can choose from? |

So it was just tribal council and not a night phase? That doesn't make sense, does it?

Barkeep, one clarification? For question 5 that refers to the favorite version on FOF only, correct?

Just to clarify - the idea that the role is not revealed on death is not how most WW games work. In most games, what ITC said is not a big deal at all. But with that mechanic in place for this game it is kind of bad form to say something about your role after being voted out. |

At first, I thought the lack of a night action was due to the fact that yesterday was not a true day with a competition and everything, just a tribal council. So then, why would BK publish this? If no NAs were to be processed, then this would be intentional misleading on the part of a GM, and I don't like that one bit if true. Ont eh other hand, how many wolves do we have left? Most likely, two. They HAVE to night vote last night (Night vcote kill - down to six, day vote, avoid lynch, down to five, night kill down to four 2-2 odds usually gives the wolves the win. So if they night kill last night, then they are one lynch survival away from victory). Here's my thought. The other team was immunity last night, so only KWhit and I were vulnerable. What if wolves could only kill people in their own tribe? If ITC really werea wolf, despite his earlier protestaions today in the thread to the contrary, then KWhit and I would be essentailly unable to be night killed. (Or, another similar thought is that any wolf under immunity cannot kill either. So the other teams; wolves could not come and get us once we cleansed our team of the wolf taint when they get immunity.) In other words, I'm thinking that they couldn't kill, despite their desire to. And I have two legitimate reasons why the wolves could not kill. Here's why I think there had to be some limitations on the wolves. It apepars they can convert and there were at least four of them beleiving RA. They could start killing uuntil the groups joined appears to tbe the case, but what else? What abilities do we have to fight the wolves other than one seer? Anybody seen a duke or a witness or a bodyguard or any traditional anti-wolf villager roles? With this paucity of powers at our command, the wolves have to have some balancing as well. Being only able to kill certain groups or when you are not under immunity makes perfect sense under BK's system and would be a legit weakness. Those are my thoughts, anyways.

Right - Old Helsign and Old Lupus are the two wolves. Every death in old Helsing has been a night kill according to the occasionally updated info on the first page. That emans the wolf still ahs to be there. Ditto Lupus. Alright - I'm off to take a nap, be back later.

Quick answers: 1. Answers are all ONLY from remaining Survivors 2. Players were asked to name their favorite "Game in the FOF Series" 3. No answers to choose from 4. The tie breaker is actually three separate questions. So don't name a player name a TV show, Survivor season, and FOF game. I should be home shortly before lynch. I apologize for my nonavailability today. |

Well Survivors it seems clear that some of you know each other better than others. Let's look at what the correct reponses were and what each of the Survivors said.

That means the scoring breaks down as follows: Quote:
So no tiebreaker was needed. Congrats to Alan on the victory. You will receive shortly your item or your list. Tribal Council has now started. There will be no night actions tonight. New challenge goes up tomorrow, so it is possible for someone to “win” immunity and be voted off at the same time. Hopefully that fate will not befall you. |

Welcome to your final tribe. All of you have outlasted fifteen competitors to get to this point. You should be proud of your accomplishments.
However, this is a different flavor of Survivor than we traditionally run. The competition is looking to devour, digest, and defacate you - I think that pile over there is Grammaticus. And the audience has responded with record numbers. As a reward, we are going to bring the 1st place prize up by a factor of five. Whatever you were initially promised, look for five times the reward if you are able to emerge as the final survivor. Now that the tribes have been merged, you each have a chance to face your accusors. What criteria are you bringing to the vote today? Do you have a strategy to identify the feral among you? Random number generator? Initial tribe information? Most likely to be converted? Someone who led a charge against you earlier in the game? Lets hear it ... |

Just so I make sure I understand.. I'm immune from votes, but still can vote for someone myself?
I've received my item/list and I guess tonight/tommorrow my sights will be set just like I have been saying for the past week. I feel really strongly about Kwhit being good for the reasons I previously detailed. I primarily am targeting Anxiety/Swaggs I think.. and really keep going back and forth between the two. Lathum and Sndvls, what do you two think about swaggs from his time with us the past week vs Anxiety and his points he mentioned earlier? |

The only thing I believe for sure is that there is a wolf in Lupus and a wolf in Helsing. Now, trying to figure out who they are is the tough part -- especially now that the old threads are unavailable to look through. I think that makes it a lot harder of a task.

Another topic for folks. What does everyone feel about being open with who they will be voting for and why? I have no problems in giving my reasons for who I will vote for once I figure it out. Of course we'll PM them in like we are supposed to, but the discussion and open-ness I think will be helpful for the village.

Swaggs is correct that he put down Diet Sunkist and should have received a point. However Alan would still win with the tiebreaker. My answers were: Survivor All-Stars The Office 2k7 |

I won't be around to play much tomorrow, after the early afternoon.
I will be voting for either KWhit or Anxiety. 1.) We know that one of the three remaining Lupus members (Anxiety, KWhit, Swaggs) is a wolf. I know I am not a wolf, so that leaves Anxiety or KWhit. That leaves me a 50/50 (or better if there was a conversion) shot at getting a wolf. 2.) I believe that wolves were only able to attack the tribes that lost challenges, as that was what happend the past three challenges/night actions. Note that there was no night kill in the Howard Tribe last night action, which leads me to believe that there could have been a conversion between Anxiety and KWhit. 3.) There is also a wolf among Alan T, Lathum or SnDvls, as our clue from the last reward challenge indicated that there was a wolf among the original players remaining from the Helsing Tribe. 4.) KWhit would have been a good conversion candidate, as it was well known/documented that he gave away his idol. 5.) Right now, I am leaning towards believing that myself, path, and two of the original Helsings are still good. I am giving path the benefit of doubt, as I think if he was a wolf, the wolves would already likely outnumber us, based on the facts we have learned. 6.) If there are three wolves right now, we lose if we choose incorrectly at tribal council. Hopefully path and at least two of original Helsings will join me in voting for one of KWhit or Anxiety. |

Dola...
I will add that I will almost certainly be voting for Anxiety because he worked his butt off on the wikipedia challenge, when KWhit and I were pretty lethargic and pretty much willing to let it go without an entry. |

Perhaps that could be true, but we seriously need to stop hunting around for people who "could be the converted wolf" That has hurt us more than anything else this game so far, especially the way the Howard tribe handled their tribal councils. People who throw around "so and so might be converted" as an arguement to vote for them when we "know" that there are at least two wolves alive and which 6 people those 2 wolves are in are doing nothing but hurting the good guys. It worries me some that you are doing that now as it makes me feel a bit worse about you than I did already. People need to focus on removing the wolves then worrying about the conversions (that may or may not still be around) Quote:
I already said I plan on voting either you or Anxiety. I'm really interested in hearing Lathum and Sndvls' opinions on both of you. I won't be voting Kwhit today. Also, I do appreciate Swaggs at least coming out with who he is planning on voting for. We don't have to say today as its done via private PM, but I encourage everyone to do so and I will make sure to do so also once I decide on who I will be voting. |
