Possible. But my opinion of Clowney is based more on the fact that the did a definite disappearing act in 2013.

So I had turned on the Canadians vs. Bruins for a bit and flipped back just now. I heard Berman or someone say "We've had the Anthem, now we start the draft" or something like that.

Did they really sing the National Anthem for this?

It feels fitting that the NFL Network cuts right to commercial immediately after Goodell announced the start of the draft.

Maybe. Teams get 10 minutes instead of 15 this year. Unless there's a quick pick or two (read: as long as every team ahead of ATL takes all 10 minutes), about an hour until ATL's pick.

I have to agree with Kiper that it was a had to make pick. The guy that'll go in the top 10 that I would be most excited about landing would be Sammy Watkins though.

I don't think this gets interesting until at least pick 4 or more likely 5.

In some ways, this pick is the most interesting one. Jacksonville is probably going QB, and Manziel seems like a good choice. But he might be pulling an Eli.

Berman was interesting for about two seconds 30 years ago. I guess he knows where all the bodies are buried.

Just not much in the way of skill position pieces around Bortles in Jacksonville. Seems like this may be a 'long-view' pick who won't play this year.

My guess is that Cleveland likes Teddy B, and figures he'll slide. They'll think about trading down again.

They have the veteran QB to let him sit. They know this isn't a quick fix.
