So another abysmal game by Tebow and unless KC screws it up, the Broncos lose and Oakland is within striking distance.

Holy hell, the Raiders just got a safety on a kick off!@

Edit: No, they say he was down at the half-yard line.

Don't you understand? Anything before the 4th quarter doesn't' count!

If the Broncos back in maybe they should start Brady Quinn in their playoff game.

Its sick what counts as roughing the passer these days, assuming that roughing against tebow is actually how the rule is written now...

Tebowmania, out like 2011.

So I wonder if Carson Palmer sits on his sofa and watches the Bengals playoff game, or if he finds something else to busy himself with that day.

Good job K.C. The refs didn't want us to win this.

The Bengals don't really deserve the playoffs, but I'll take it. Two first round picks and a third place schedule for next year makes me pretty confident for 2012.

An awful non-call against the Ravens in the end zone there.

You just don't get it. The last 3 games didn't count. The Broncos obviously had a playoff spot locked up.

Tebowmania returns for the 4th quarter of next week's wild card game.

So, I think is the lineup then, right?

AFC:

Byes: Patriots, Ravens

Bengals at Texans
Steelers at Broncos

NFC:

Byes: Packers, 49ers

Lions at Saints
Falcons at Giants/Cowboys

A Bengals/Pats playoff game in two weeks would be a lot of fun. Lucky for the Pats, I think, that the Ravens got the bye.

Raiders playing like a team that hasn't had a winning record in 10 years.

Also, Norv > Tebow!

Ricky Williams went over 10k career rushing yards today. Quite the accomplishment all things considered.

If you had told me when the season started given the talent and injuries on the roster I would be elated if it came down to a one game home playoff game to get in.

Time to get it done GMen!

This NFL season was a great success!

1. Jets did not make the playoffs
2. Eagles did not make the playoffs
3. Pats are #1 seed
4. Norv Turner will likely get fired

Are you a Pats fan?

Rather pathetic that the top two items that make you consider a season a succcess are other teams not making the playoffs. You must have a sad life.

Eli has 104 yards passing so far. 309 more yards to go to get to 5,000 for the year.

I hope he gets nowhere near that. For once I want to see us put someone away early and use the running game to shorten the game up.

I am amazed at how many times the refs have missed facemask calls this season which seem obvious to everyone else but them.

yeah, maybe Sak could enlighten us as to where the ref is looking, but I agree. There have already been 2 missed tonight.

That being said, could not have asked for a better start. Defense has put pressure on Romo and he looks rattled plus the offense has kept them off the field.

Going through the SOS of the non-playoff teams in Excel, the draft order at the top looks like this (if I was mistake free):

1. Indianapolis Colts (2-14)
2. St. Louis Rams (2-14)
3. Minnesota Vikings (3-13) -
4. Cleveland Browns (4-12)
5. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (4-12)
6. Washington Redskins (5-11)
7. Jacksonville Jaguars (5-11)
8/9. Miami Dolphins (6-10) *
9/8. Carolina Panthers (6-10) *
10. Buffalo Bills (6-10)
11/12. Kansas City Chiefs (7-9) *
12/11. Seattle Seahwaks (7-9) *
13. Arizona Cardinals (8-8)

(14. Dallas Cowboys if they finish 8-8))

14/15. Philadelphia Eagles (8-8)
15/16. N.Y. Jets (8-8)
16/17. Oakland Raiders (8-8)
17/18. San Diego Chargers (8-8)

(18/19. N.Y Giants if they finish (8-8))*

19/18. Chicago Bears (8-8) *
20. Tennessee Titans (9-7)

* - Order will be determined by a coin flip.

Should be interesting to see if Washington or Miami try to trade up for RG3.

That useless 4 game winning streak cost the Eagles a potential #6 pick (or as high as #4 pick). That would have at least made something out of the season, though Ried would have screwed up the pick somehow.
