OK, I give up. I really give up.

Boldin- Out
Bush- Out
Hasselback- Out ( not to mention his whole receiving corps)

Unless Gotskowski kicks 7 field goals tonight another loss.

This is my second year in a Fleaflicker league and I like the site for the most part. I like the deep stats and the waiver system. I don't like the player news system buried deep in the site. The site has everything we need for this league, including keepers, and it's free so I can't complain. How do you guys like it?

Other than the fact that the players news is quite buried, like you said, it is not bad.

I'm still a bigger fan of Yahoo but this gets the job done. There are quite a few issues like the news system being impossible to find, no weekly rankings, the inability to sort by some of the stats (i.e. you can see who has the most points over the past X number of weeks but you cannot sort by that), or that you can't add a player to a watch list from the add page. You have to go and search a second time from an identical list to add them to the watch list.

Again, it's a more cumbersome interface, but I seem to remember that Yahoo didn't have some of the features we needed.

All the people talking about the player news info being difficult to find...to make that point I didn't even know they had a full player news section. No wonder I'm having a mediocre year.

For about half a season, I just went to other sites to get it. Then I was messing around one day and stumbled across it. :P

Is there? More than just hovering over your layer in the lineup?

Someone mentioned the lack of weekly player rankings and projected weekly stats (for the remaining games, for example) and no way to sort stats and I second all of those. I also don't understand what the H---L line means on the roster.

Full player news?! I didn't know it existed either.

I think part of the problem is that you have to click through just to get to the full player news page. If you see a guy with a little block next to him and it has what looks like a tiny red star, that guy has news. If you hover over it, you'll see the first sentence but you need to click through to read the whole thing, including the analysis. It's way too confusing and probably the thing I like least about the whole site.

The H---L just means the highest and lowest a player has scored during the season.

Hah, when I look at my team, I can't believe I'm in a playoff spot. Really, I think everyone in my lineup but the QB is a free agent pickup.

That was a brutal loss this week. We put up 127 points, I believe my season high, but lose by 3. Worse yet is that I almost started Elam which would have at least tied it.

I checked the score Monday morning and figured it was done... then checked Monday night before Thomas' second TD, and figured it was done unless Brees threw for another TD, and not to Moore. But I forgot about Thomas and he was the difference.

Needed Colston to have a good game for the win...but not too good because my opponent in my money league had him playing, too. Worked out just fine.

Well, one of the top 3 scores is going to lose this week as I'm down 135-125 with 2 players still left: johnnyshaka has Walter and myself Maurice Jones-Drew for MNF.

Unreal game between you and Shaka, SI. Game to pretty much determine the division winner and you both go off.

I still got a shot next week after a nice win over Lathum. I might need some help, but all I can worry about is winning my game.

Apparently if I understand the tie breakers correctly, to make the playoffs I need Andre Johnson to get 8+ points tonight, then the following week not only do I need to win, but I would need Lathum, Shaka, saldana, and SI's teams to win.

...

Lloyd: What are my chances?
Mary: Not good.
Lloyd: You mean, not good like one out of a hundred?
Mary: I'd say more like one out of a million.
[pause]
Lloyd: So you're telling me there's a chance.

Funny, in my money league, I currently have the 2nd highest total this week and I'm almost certain to lose as my opponent has Rosenfels going tonight and he only needs a couple of points to secure the win.

Looks like I'll be the highest scoring LOSER in two leagues this week. Awesome.

Looks like things are cut and dry for those final 2 playoff spots this weekend. If I win, I am in. And it looks like no matter what happens to you, SI, you are in as well.

It's more complicated than that for me. First tiebreaker is head to head. I would be split with Gridiron Warriors (1-1), have the edge on Vic's Heroes (1-0), and I never played the South Side Roughnecks. Second tiebreaker is division record and a loss would drop me to 5-5, worst among the three I was going up against (7-3, 7-3, 6-4).

So I really need a win this week and it definitely won't be easy as I'm about a 10 point underdog going in.

Although it wouldn't look at division record when it pits you against Vic's or South Side, since they aren't in your division.
