Thankfully I found a way to save $14.95 each month for a while.
I started an experimental CK dynasty that's going to last quite a while, as I'll have a lot of posts even before I actually start playing the game.

Yesterday is the first day I have played and not leveled. I hit 24 right before going to bed Wednesday. I didn't manage to make it to 25 last night. I'm bummed.
I guess these things are going to start taking longer, eh? |

I should be in for the SFK run, but I'll have to level my character tomorrow. Would we be better off with a Priest or a Warlock to add to the party?

Grumble. Won't be able to play on vacation unless I can talk my father into upgrading to the expansion. Tough sell without a 60.

Great SFK run, we kicked butt, and then fought some dwarves for good measure. BTW, training at higher levels=EXPPPPPEENNNNNSIIIVVVE

I am having a lot of fun playing WoW. I knew that I was missing something good. I just didn't know it would be this good.
I want to thank all of you guys for helping me learn the game. I don't think I would have taken the plunge without this guild getting started, so thanks to SirFozzie for getting this going. I've enjoyed grouping with you guys and look forward to playing with you guys even more. DING 31!! at approximately 0830 this morning! |

Got home yesterday, took some time today to start up a Blood Elf Pally Psibaba (extra credit for guessing the meaning...)
I'll update my char list later today and maybe find a group somewhere from FOFC to do some low level quests with. |

Thanks Spleeny. Glad to hear people are having fun with it.
BTW, Grats31 Hopefully Fazzie will hit 19 or 20 before the weekend so he's ready for Deatholme. He has all the quests but the apprentices one.

'Grats again, Spleenie! You need to stop dinging without us online to make a fuss! 'Specially on the major dings.
I don't know what Deatholme is but, if it's around 19-20, Arkhie is at that level and would love to join. |

This is my 4th time trying WoW and for the first time I "get it". I only have an 8 BE Mage so far (Mota), but really enjoying it. This time I'll be sticking with it. Looking forward to dungeon crawling with all of you guys.

So I apparently have ADD with regards to WoW characters lately. Yesterday I decided to start a Troll, because I'd never rolled one before. I sort of went on a tear, and got her up to level 14 before logging out. Her name is Magatha...I'll ping someone the next time I'm online (probably later this evening) for a guild invite.

This may be a good resource for the FOFC guild to schedule some instances and other events. The guild my main char is in uses it and it makes it easy to get people together at certain times for the larger instances.

Update:
The Hunters rule the guild roost right now, as Spleendal hit Level 40 last week and picked up his mount (a War Wolf). He's now Level 42. Deretha is the next to hit 40, as she should be L40 by the time you read this. Behind them is Dauren (myself), and Trout, who are both L37, and Arlie, amongst others, who are in the mid30's (we spent most of yesterday convincing Arlie to put WoW on his laptop so when he travels he can still travel with us ) Speaking of Arlie: If any of you lowbies need an item or a loan, I'd speak to Doktar. Dok's been wheeling and dealing like mad, doing that classic market strategy of buying low and selling high to pick up more then 90 gold (at a time when all quest rewards offer like .5 gold tops). We had one idiot in the guild who visited neutral ground in Booty Bay, and wanted to talk to the Dwarf Windrider. Of course, right clicking on an Alliance character doesn't talk to them. It attacks them. Between the very angry Dwarf Windrider and the Gryphon that came out to protest at its master's mistreatment, the stupid idiot found himself reduced to a fine thin paste in about 6 seconds. Stupid idiot's teammate watched from a safe distance and laughed her ass off. Hopefully, the stupid idiot seeing this in print will learn never ever to do that ever again. Just for the record. Stupid Idiot=Me

BTW: Conversation from our four man-RFK run
Airgoria, one of our FOF WoW folks was on fire. Most of the drops were mail, and better stuff then he (he was only L25 at the time) had... so we had no problem with him needing it. It got to the point where he was winning most of the greed rolls as well. So we finally meet up with the end boss, and the reward for defeating it was a Blue Axe. Doktar: "Airgoria, if you win this item, I will have my succubus whip you" Dauren: "Air.. if you win this I will SKIN you." For once, Airgoria didn't win the greed roll, and the only non-WoW guy in the group (our Druid), gets the item. Brew (the druid): "Geez guys, I think you skeered him" (I'll leave it to Air if he's around to go off on the rant about Enchanters )

Did the first level of Stormgarde last night. Now that I know where everything is, I can help Deretha and Spleen and anyone else who has missions there.

Tonight, Spleen, maybe then.. four missions, took about an hour to do (didn't help that Dauren, a Ret Pally, was the only healer.. which took me some getting used to)

I haven't been on for a couple weeks. Debating whether I still enjoy the game. I do enjoy MMO's, and this is the best one out there. I was hoping the new expansion would take me 1-70 with all new content.

I'm impressed that you guys have gotten up to your 40s already! I sort of got hooked on my main, who hit seventy recently, and I've been pushing hard to get to Karazhan lately. Add that to the fact that I had to take on a second job recently, and my WoW time has been mainly on Bodkin lately. I really enjoy running around with you guys, though, so hopefully I'll get back into it soon.

I've been playing Eliara (pally) more than Arkhorn (hunter) lately. I really enjoyed the run through RFC but, as most of the mainstay have passed me by, I've been mostly on solo'ing around Tranquillien later in the evening.

Thanks Foz, That weapon is a pretty sweet ass reward, and will probably take me to 40 when I get it. Im usually only on early sat and sun mornings though, so it might take me awhile to finish the quest.

We were doing a quest in the HInterlands, and a 49 Blood Elf Paladin asked if she could tag along.
Well, she's the highest level (tied with Spleendal) character, and this mission is fairly tough, so we let her join. She's really tough, which is good, but really a jackass, she never gives the rest of us a chance to recover mana.. which means we're dancing on the edge of big big trouble. When we do have mana, she's running from combat to combat without a rest and never healing herself, which means poor Eire and myself were spending all our mana healing her. The last straw was at the top of the mountain the mission was on, where two people specifically asked for a minute's break to recover. She ignored us and ran off to the next battle. At the end of the mission,I gently try to say "Listen, when the healers ask for a break because they're low on mana, that means that the healers will be limited in saving folks" She gets huffy "Well, no one died, so I think I'm going fine" Well, the situation devolves from there, apparently she think that the healers are just portable bandaids devoted to her service, so she finally gets pissy andsays "I guess I'll go have to find a better group" and leaves the group, in the middle of a combat, causing a wipe. She later continued jousting with Spleen via Tells First class annoying bitch
