Hrm. I would like to make a request -- can I be the Pac-10 first alternate? As much as I would love to whomp on Jeeb's Miners with the Green Wave, I know the Pac-10 much better. So basically, I'm Tulane, but the second any of our Pac-10 people drop, I'm in.

Make sense/do people care if I do this?

I've updated the first page with the most current requests. I guess now it's about time to start the website for the league. I'll work on it over the weekend. I'll also update the first page tonight will all teams, so people can quickly see which teams are open.

The psetup.dat file can be edited to change their designation to Ole Miss. Shouldn't be a problem for cartman if you remind him when we start up the league. In fact, I think that can be changed at any time by going to the setup.dat file in the league directory.

Time for some WAC warfare. Although I wanted RU, but apparently everyone's on the bandwagon now I wish you could do a historical import so I can have the people that played there when I went...Thunder and Lightning (Willis & Presley)...and my favorite WR...Reggie Funderbunk. Oh well.

i have no clue who to take. i have no allegiance to any of those schools. i could possibly take Buffalo, since they're a NY team and i live in NY. or i could go with Wake Forest, since they're the last team in the Atlantic division and my name is Hell Atlantic.

argh. i wish that guy would give up Miami and i could get on with my life.

how does it work in NCAA - aren't some teams excluded from participating in the BCS or is it open to every team, even the shitty ones?

If, as UGA, I ever, ever, ever lose to an HA-coached Kentucky team, we will never hear the end of it.

On the other hand, here's hoping that Arlie makes the "take-the-starters-out-in-ablowout" logic an option rather than an automatic.

You'd rather have HA's guys play dirty and break your QB's legs than take him out of the game yourself?
