Thanks. Going to be posting my preseason changes soon. Have been frantically trying to make moves when I realized that I addressed my midfield a lot but my offers to defenders weren't getting accepted. Realized that when I didn't have enough defenders to change them all out during friendlies.

Have been frantically making offers.

Will be updating soon.

Question, has anyone had issues with offers getting made public bfore you wanted them to? That wasn't happening when I was with Cambridge but every offer that I have made with this team keeps getting out.

Any suggestions on what may trigger this?

Hampton & Richmond

GK - Michael Oakes (36, England) - Solid keeper and the starter, good reflexes, very athletc and has a good head for the game.

GK - Robert Murray (22, England) - Far from Oakes' current level, gets out of position and needs to improve but shows that he could become a decent replacement for Oakes once his career with the club ends

SW, D C - Dean Wells (25, England) - Determined, aggressive, good tackler and a great work ethic, best central defender on the squad, only real weakness is his lack of speed.

D RC - Lee Ayres (27, England) - Free transfer this offseason. Brought in for depth. Good at marking but doesn't have the speed I would like to see.

D R - Lee Hodson (18, N. Ireland) - On loan from Watford for the season. Very fast and very fit, loses focus once in a while.

D RC, WB R, DM, M C - Ashley Woolliscroft (30, England) - Free transfer this offseason. Added only for depth. Team player but not a starter by any means.

D R, M C - Jonathon Hogg (21, England) - Free transfer this offseason. Brought him in for a few games while I was at Cambridge and thought he could help the team when I saw him on the free transfer market. Very athletic and has a balanced all-around game.

D/WB/M L - Craig Tanner (24, England) - Fit, good with the ball, good crossing ability.

D C -Callum Burgess (20, England) - Free transfer this offseason. Athletic and good in the air but sometimes loses focus. Brought in for depth.

D C - Joe Connor (25, England) - Fit and quick, marks well but not a good tackler, 1 yellow away from a suspension.

D/WB/M R - Jay Lovett (32, England) - Good team player, no real standout strengths.

D/WB/AM L - Jamie Price (22, Wales) - Very good all around player but lacks speed and stamina.

D/M C - Alan Inns (28, England) - Very good in the air, lacks skill in dribbling around an opponent.

DM, M C - Danny Brown (29, England) - One of the stars of the team, great with the ball, great team player, does lack speed which can be a hinderance.

M C - Nathan Burke (18, England) - Has speed, lacks in most other areas.

M C - Liam Darville (19, England) - Free transfer this offseason. Athletic with speed and has flair but not good with set pieces.

M C - Bai Mas Lettejallow (26, England) - Average player, used in rotation, no real strengths

AM RLC, FC - Craig Johnston (27, England) - Has some speed, lacks aerial ability.

AM R, ST - Danny Forrest (25, England) - One of our stars, has some speed an solid all around, has played mostly at striker but may be better a a right midfielder. Looking to make him a midfielder more this season for his strength.

AM LC, F C - Joel Byrum (23, England) - Has some speed but no major stengths.

AM L, ST - Soheil-Vosough Tehrani (18, Iran) - Aggressive and athletic with some flair but gets out of place far too often. There for depth. Was the only member of the team on a World Cup team, though he saw no playing time for Iran. Called him up from out youth/reserve for depth.

ST - Mohammed Dikuiza (20, England) - Has some speed but little else presently, has potential to develop into an okay player. His playing tme late last season (due to injury) gave him the confidence that he has carried into our friendlies this season. This gives us the change to play him at striker and move Forrest to right midfield.

ST - Ian Hodges (27, England) - Another one of our stars, very good team player.

Watford - We have affiliated ourselves with Watford. This will give us a very good source of young players which we may receive on loan.

Time for the season to get underway. We just want to avoid relegation this season and hopefully build for the future. I am not as confident aftertis promotion as I was after getting Cambridge promoted as I wasn't able to make the same kind of impact signings that I had then.

We play on the road as we travel to play Gateshead.

GK - Michael Oakes
DL - Craig Tanner
DC - Callum Burgess
DC - Dean Wells
DR - Lee Hodson
ML - Jamie Price
MC - Danny Brown
MC - Jonathon Hogg
MR - Jay Lovett
ST - Danny Forrest
ST - Ian Hodges

Subs - Robert Murray, Alan Inns, Joel Byrum, Craig Johnston, Joe Connor

- Hodson is playing in his first league match
- Burgess is making his debut for Hampton & Richmond
- Hogg is making his debut for Hampton & Richmond
- Brown needs 3 goals to reach 25 career league goals
- Hodges is making his 150th career appearance for Hampton & Richmond

1st Half
- In the 16th minute striker Matty Tymon dribbled past Wells and in all alone on goal and fired one past Oakes and into the net to give them a 1-0 lead
- In the 28th minute Tymon was playing table setter as he set up a great opportunity but Oakes makes the save diving to his left to keep it just 1-0
- In the 31st minute Tymon was sent forward and into the box with a chance but Oakes made the initial save, the rebound found midfielder Kris Gate who put it into the net for he 2-0 lead
- In the 33rd minute Tymon received a one touch pass in the box and quickly fires it into the left side of the goal to make it 3-0, we have no answer for him
- We go to the half own 3-0

2nd half
- Inns comes on for an injured Hogg to start the second half
- Byrum and Johnson in for Price and Brown in the 69th minute
- We are unable to do much as we fall 3-0

- Matty Tymon is named man of the match as he dominated us

A very disappointing start to the season. I'm going to have to evaluate this team to see what else I can do to improve it.

Our first home match in the BSP. We host Crawley and are actually a slight favorite. Not looking to make too many changes to strategy as I want to see what may and may not work before jumping to change too quickly. I am trying Forrest at right midfielder to see how that works out.

- In the 25th minute Hodson came forward dow the right wing and crossed into the box where Hogg wasthere again for a header but the keeper made a fantastic save diving to his right to keep it ouf of the net

I have signed a second scout, Ian Wilson (a 40 year old Englishman). I was impressed with his ability to recognize potential in players and felt that he would be a very good addition to the club. The board will allow us to have a second scout and okay his hiring.

We head back on the road to face Forest Green. We are an underdog in this road match. Forest Green has split their first two matches, winning at home and losing on the road.

We need to make a few lineup changes due to injury.

GK - Michael Oakes
DL - Craig Tanner
DC - Callum Burgess
DC - Dean Wells
DR - Lee Hodson
ML - Jamie Price
MC - Danny Brown
MC - Jonathon Hogg
MR - Jay Lovett
ST - Danny Forrest

- Ayres will make his debut for Hampton & Richmond if brought on
- Johnston will make his 25th career league appearance for Hampton and Richmond if brought on

1st half
- After weathering the storm and seeing Oakes make multiple saves to keep the game scoreless we had a counterattack opportunity in the 25th minute. Hogg got the ball from about 20 yards out and place a perfect shot into the to left corner for the GOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAALLLLLL!! We stun the crowd by taking a 1-0 lead!
- In the 32nd minute they strike back as midfielder Aaron Carter headed a cross into our goal to tie it 1-1
- In the 35th minute the pressure continues and midfielder Fraser McLachlan scores on a shot from about 35 yards out into the upper right corner of the goal, it looks like that was supposed to be a forward pass that was long but they'll take it as they go up 2-1
- We limp into the half down 2-1 but it could be much worse, they outshot us 15-2 and we only got one shot on goal but at least it went in

2nd half
- Dikuiza on for Hodges who has been slowed with a 1st half injury to start the 2nd half
- In the 53rd minute Price takes a corner from the right wing and hooks it towards the far post, it hits the far post and bounces into the goal... GOOOOAAAAAAAALLLLLLLL!!!!! We tie the game 2-2!
- Byrum and Inns in for Price and Brown in the 64th minute
- In the 68th minute Dikuiza gets mugged in the box but no call, very furious over that one, Wells argues and is shown a yellow
- The game ends tied 2-2

- Jonathon Hogg is named man of the match

Made an addition to the team as we finalized a transfer with Stevenage and signed midfielder Mitchell Cole. He will be a great addition to the team as he has speed to burn and is great at dribbling forward and crossing into the box.

Signed a transfer from Droylsden. Center midfielder Robin Hulbert. He is a 30 year old from Englend. He is a very professional team player and looks to be our best center midfielder from what I see of him.
