ESPN fantasy focus podcast estimated something like 15000 games changed cause of the +4 for Ben and -1 for Mendy.

Romo, Morris, Charles. I wouldn't feel great about any of those match ups though. They're all just about toss ups in my opinion.

Kind of like Kolb today but would probably still go Romo. At backs I think Charles is a no brainer and Id probably lean Murray. Vikings defense has been surprisingly good this year and the Ravens arent exactly great against the run like they once were.

Should my 3rd WR be Brandon Gibson of STL (with Amendola out) vs. GB, or Devery Henderson of NO (with Moore out) against TB?

TB actually has a crappier defense against WR this year, but Henderson is just so damn inconsistent... his scoring this season has been like 1-1-2-1-21. On the other hand, he's now in the #2 spot, a big target and TB's #1 corner Aqib Talib is out.

As for the Brandon Gibson thing, he probably won't get me 15, but he could easily get me a solid 6-9. Also, I have to start Sam Bradford this week due to byes so maybe this could be a double whammy factor.

Bye week QB dilemma - Alex Smith vs a stingy Seahawks defense, or pick up Carson Palmer vs Jax for the week?

Looking for some thoughts on a trade...

My team (PPR League, start 1QB/2RB/2WR/1TE/1 Flex)

QB - A. Rodgers, R. Griffin
RB - D. Sproles, T. Richardson, D. Martin
WR - B. Marshall, P. Harvin, P. Garcon, K. Wright, R. Cobb
TE - J. Graham, K. Rudolph

I've been offered CJ Spiller for RGIII. I've got no use for RGIII, particularly as he shares a bye with Rodgers.

The person making the offer also has A. Peterson, R. Mathews, W. McGahee and S. Greene. P. Rivers and R. Fitzpatrick are his QB's, so he's looking to deal.

Do I take the offer of Spiller? I want Peterson, but I don't think he will move him. Does anyone think that Mathews or McGahee are better options than Spiller?

Or do I look to move him elsewhere and upgrade depth at WR in case something were to happen to Marshall or Harvin. I also might be able to do something like package up a Doug Martin with RGIII for a Ray Rice.

Thoughts?

hmm. i'd go espionage. say you've got another deal cooking and it's ap or nothing. if he balks wait a day or 2 and offer rg3 for spiller and mcgahee.

you hold the cards. he needs a qb more than you need a rb.

Who would you start in this situation?

3 spots - WR1, WR2, RB/WR Flex
Options: Andre Johnson (against Baltimore, but I HAVE to start him, right?)
Vincent Jackson (playing against NO's secondary)
Dez Bryant (playing against Carolina's secondary)
Devery Henderson (Lance Moore is out and playing against TB's secondary)
Stevan Ridley (against Jets)
Fred Jackson (against Tenn)

Ok, I'm having some significant issues, especially since Amendola got hurt and Garcon has a pussy toe.

Anyways, my roster
QB-RG3, Luck
RB AP, Foster, Tate, William Powell, Kendall Hunter
WR- Mike Wallace, and this pile of shit.......Andre Roberts, Donnie Avery, Chris Givens, Garcon
TE-Gates, Gronk

What would you try to do for a WR?
-Piece out Foster, hope he breaks(and keep Tate)?
-Piece out RG3, Luck is a pretty good fantasy QB
-Trade AP?
-Trade Gronk?

I suppose if Garcon comes back, he's going to be good for that 8-12 points per week. Maybe i can make due.

I got offered Andre Johnson and Turner for Foster, but I really don't like either of those guys much.

I was looking at some things I might be able to do-
Luck for Mike Williams(who I cut earlier this year, grrr)
Luck for Maclin
RG3 for Fitzgerald or Brandon Marshall
RG3 for Bowe or (maybe) Harvin

That's what I would try. Luck has had his bye week, so ride him the rest of the year in confidence.

Team 1: RB: Murray, Hunter, Stewart WR: White, Ogletree, Hawkins, Steve Smith (CAR), Marshall

Team 2: RB: Rice, McFadden, Morris, Ridley, F. Jackson, WR: Fitzgerald, Dez Bryant, Decker, Garcon, Amendola, Gibson

What do you think of a White for Ridley or Morris? What about Marshall for Ridley or Morris? Does Team 2 even need that trade with Amendola coming back eventually?

I think you pretty much have to pick one or the other and trade the second. If you get 4 points for passing TDs, it might be worth going with RG3.

i actually might lean ponder. coming off a bad loss, playing at home and az's d is helter skelter. stafford's been shaky and chicago on the road. tough

In my initial lineup submission I picked Ponder pretty much for these reasons. I've only picked the "right" one once so far this year, so this must mean Detroit and San Fran are in for great weeks!

I was Team 2 and did make the trade Ridley for White. I realized Ridley was going to be my fourth back most weeks (while the Pats figure out their running backs) and getting a third WR gave me flexibility to start three if I got an injury at RB.

Picking Romo over Fitzpatrick and Freeman was bad.

Almost as bad as leaving Cobb on the bench

For RB2 this week-
Hunter, Gerhardt, or pick up like Daniel Thomas, Draughn, Hillman, or Jacquizz Rodgers. Hunter will at least get some work I'd think, right?

Ugh...I assume I should just hope Jimmy Graham starts and if not drop somebody for a backup. But I have Kyle Rudolph tonight as my backup so I'm just making sure it's not wise to start him in the even that Graham is hurt.

I decided that I'm out on Garcon. A plantar plate tear sounds like something that could potentially end his season. I would be surprised if he could play again this year, but he's easily going to miss 3 more weeks or more.

Yes, I can start a TE at Flex. My FLEX choices would be:

Alex Green, Sproles (but one would start at RB), Garcon (same concerns as you), Britt, Hunter, Jacquizz, William Powell.

Basically, it's whether you'd start Graham over Sproles, Green, or Britt.

The scoring in my league is very strange, and not even worthwhile to mention in full. You get equal points for a catch and a rushing attempt (.3) You also get return yards (.05/yard).

Without knowing the ins and outs of the scoring, I'd probably play Rudolph at TE this week and then use Graham at flex if he's 100% playing.

Or alternatively drop Rudolph right before the game and gamble you can waiver claim him next week. Use Rudolph's roster spot to pick up a TE if Graham won't play. Maybe you could pick up Dressen, Delany Walker, Housler or Tamme if any of those guys are available.

Ok..Trade question

My season is pretty much shot at 3-3 and i'm thinking long range.

I have Karlos Dansby(31). I've been offered Kavell Conner(25) and Brian Orapko(26) for him......Dansby averages in the 230 pts per season range but hes slowly getting up in age. Orapko is still young but injured . He averages about 160 a season. Conner young and a starter but only until Angerer comes back. Hes good for about 100_+ pts per season. Worth the trade? Remember, season is pretty much shot..I'm hoping to lose but I refuse to just trot out complete backups or waiver fodder...Have a little pride left

Tough call.

With Jennings and Nelson likely out Cobb looks like a must play, Decker has a great matchup so it leaves a choice between Brown and Austin IMO. Id probably leave Brown on the pine and go with the big game potential of Austin esp with the Giants/Cowboys games a lot of times ending up in shootouts.

Cant really go wrong with any of them though.

Was up by one point (espn standard league) going into tonight but prospects were dim. I had only the 49ers defense left, he had the Cardinals defense and Frank Gore.

I come away with a two point victory

Will Cam put it together this year, ever? This would seem to be the week, right?

But Rivers gets that horrid KC defense. At home.
