I'm not sure there is a worse Div. 1 Quarterback than Kirby Freeman.

Getting ready for KU-Colorado to start. First of a tough two game stretch for KU with Colorado and Texas A&M on the road.

Well I agree Kirby sucks but maybe I am bias against Drew because I have watched him play for three years. Either way both suck.

Miami fakes the FG and converts a TD pass to a wide open receiver for the 24-23 lead.

UCLA with the pick six to go up on Cal, 30-21.

Cal was driving with a chance to kick a FG for the win.

Wow, if both Kirby and Kyle are hurt, who the hell does Miami put out there? Take the shirt off Mavre? I don't believe we have another scholarship QB.

Woot! Yeah, it was a sloppy game but it has been miserable to be a fan of Miami teams lately. This is the best I've felt about football in a long time.

Last 5 minutes of any close Florida State game since 2000.

Step 1. Defense makes miracle stand to hold lead.

Step 2. Offense does nothing through play calling and execution.

Step 3. Defense watches other team march downfield. Turns average to medicore player into Heisman candidate

Step 4. Offense blows any chance of comeback.

I always expect to see a KU cheerleader wearing a metal bikini with a chain around her neck not too far from their head coach.

Man, hard to believe that Texas Tech has fallen back so far. The MU defense is the weaker portion of our team and they put on a clinic against Harrell today. A couple of interceptions were dropped. Mizzou should have had 6 interceptions today. TT looked like a high school team.

My 2 favorite teams both got QB recruits this weekend!

Mizzou picked up Blaine Dalton, one of elite QBs for next year's class, while Arizona State got Jack Elway(John Elway's son if you cant make the connection)!

I still think Jowls is a notch or two below the level of talent he needs to recruit here but he's a great gameday coach. Seems very well prepared and has good plans going into the game and always seems to have the team ready and even playing a bit above its head.

Certainly enjoyable, and thats all you can ask for. Even more enjoyable than Mile's Colossal testes, as an LSU fan I have enjoyed how the coaching staff has gotten this team to fight. We were dead in the first halves against Florida and Auburn.

We may not have the best X and Os staff(although still a pretty good staff at Xs and Os) but Miles and company can get these kids to fight and play hard.

I actually think that whoever calls offensive plays for LSU is freaking brilliant. They do a fantastic job of matching their strengths against the other guys weaknesses.

My only complaints of Crowton (OC) is that he tries to do too much in the course of the game and that he stretches the field too more horizontally and not enough vertically. Pellini (DC) is too conservative with his 3 gap minimal blitz packages. Despite a few complaints, overall it is a very good staff. They were outcoached in the first half on both sides of the ball though, IMO. But like the players, they came out to play in the second half.

I'm thrilled that Mizzou picked up Blaine Dalton. I've seen him play several times as he plays just down the road in my hometown. He's a great QB and should keep the string of great QB's at Mizzou going. Brad Smith-------------Chase Daniel------------Blaine Dalton. Pretty good run. Blaine Gabbert is still considering Mizzou, but I wonder if Dalton's commitment may scare him off. Dalton is that good.

I thought that was what he said when I first heard it, but on further review, listening carefully on ESPN Classic this morning, he actually said "we had a chance to kick after that." I like "Kicked their asses" better, and hope that becomes the quasi-official version of what he said.
