Vlad Tepes (Vlad the Impaler, Vlad Dracula III) - Murderer

This man was one of the worst mass murderers ever. I read some of his methods of killing, and made me sick:

Going a bit old school with my next pick. It will finish my entertainer category. She was a belly dancers that was executed by the French for spying. An all time classic criminal, my choice is

7.3 Mata Hari - entertainer *female*

Finishing out my entertainer category, team Oliegirl selects

7.4 Pee-Wee Herman

We all know what Pee-Wee did with his Wee-Wee, so there is no need to elaborate...but for those who don't remember, indecent exposure and kiddie porn was involved.

John Wilkes Booth was on our list, I like that pick a lot. Cartman's Hurricane and both of st. cronin's picks(mcclain and bruce) are solid as well.

With pick 7.5 Team Rafini selects Dr. Jack Kevorkian, Wildcard

Assisted in the suicide of over 100 terminally ill people. After being tried numerous times, he was eventually charged with second-degree murder and found guilty. He is currently in prison in Michigan, serving a 10-to-25-year sentence.

Maybe not globally famous or as notorious as many others, but certainly an FOFC fan favorite and inspiration for kids entering puberty everywhere. Certainly an entertainer, but I'll select:

Debra Lafave, Other

How have 'insert really mean guys here' not been drafted?!?!!

All have stood trial for various offenses and all found guilty. All 3 of which out-strip all other murderers listed in this draft. They are all first rounders! For evilness sake show these players some respect!

Sorry

It's bad form to discuss names while the draft is ongoing. If you don't mind, please edit your post to remove the names.

It was determined that drafting people of that nature was against the rules.

I was thinking of taking Fatty Arbuckle, but considering he was set up I passed.

uuughhhh.....I can't decide who I want to take for fictional. I have two top people in mind and I want to take both....

Saw someone earlier do this but I want to be clear. We can take a fictional character with our wildcard picks, correct?

8.3 Richard "The Nightstalker" Ramirez-Wildcard

What a freaking nutjob. Ruthless rapist and murderer, Ramirez had some of the most surreal moments in the history of murder trials. Writing shit on his hands and making demonic faces, threatening the judge and jury. Just a crazy dude. Look it up on Wikipedia. I'm surprised he's still here.

Wow, Fatty Arbuckle, awesome find. It doesn't get more salacious than killing a women with a champagne bottle to the....um you know, Ouch. I don't know how you guys are rating this draft, but that one gets many points.

On the other hand the Shoeless Joe pick should get very little points. That pick was in very bad form. Not a criminal in the literal sense or in the belief of the masses. Where O.J may not be a criminal in the literal sense, but the masses ALL think he did it.

8.7 Team Oliegirl selects:

Jack Ruby (Wildcard)...the man who killed Lee Harvey Oswald as he was being transferred from Police Headquarters to jail. The photo is infamous, and the murder has helped to perpetuate one of the biggest conspiracy theories ever - did Oswald act alone or was there another gunman on or near the Grassy Knoll????

To complete my sports category, I'm going with someone who was found not guilty, and like OJ, this person is not considered innocent in the court of public opinion. I'm surprised he hasn't been taken yet. With my next pick, I choose:

8.8: Kobe Bryant - athlete

2 rounds to go. I still need an athlete and wildcard and I'm pretty sure I know who I am taking with both. Although, with the wildcard, I am going back and forth on 2 people....decisions, decisions.

Ok, for my next trick...

Here's a hardened career criminal, whose nickname belies his true, horrible nature. He spent time at Alcatraz (hence his nickname). His first stint in the federal pen was for killing a bartender who didn't pay a prostitute he was pimping. He spent time in Leavenworth, and anywhere he went, he scared the crap out of the other inmates, in fact, he even killed a prison guard in front of over 1,000 other inmates. Sounds just like the guy you want on your criminal team. With my pick, I choose:

9.3 Robert Stroud, The Birdman of Alcatraz - Wildcard

9.4

Team Oliegirl selects Sid Vicious, Wildcard. Arrested for the stabbing death of his girlfriend, Nancy Spungen, he was released on $50K bond, but committed suicide via heroin overdose at a party thrown at his new girlfriends house before a trial could occur. Although there is a theory that he is innocent, most believe he was guilty.

With pick 9.5 Team Rafini selects Jayson Williams, Athlete

The former NBA All-Star was tried on charges related to the killing of 55 year old limousine driver Costas Christofi. He was acquitted of the most serious charges against him, but the jury deadlocked on a charge of reckless manslaughter, and he currently faces a retrial on that charge. He also faces trial on four charges related to his alleged attempts to cover up the circumstances of the driver's death.
