There's good and bad for me.

Good: shot a +2 on the back nine.

Bad: shot a +5 on the front nine(did have a birdie though on hole 2).

So I'm sitting badly at +7, yay

At +4 for the day thru 14 holes, +9 overall

Gotta hope for a good finish, 2 birdies, no bogeys, but 3 double bogeys so far.

I'm sitting at +4 after the first 18 (don't tee of to late today). I adjusted my tactics for round 2 ... we'll see if that was a good idea or not.

Funny, I did the same thing on the par 3's. i wonder if it's b/c my long irons aren't very good. Thinking about aiming for the front of the green for tactics next round.

How long does it normally take to get a response to a new registration??

I know it says a week, but curious to how long it took for others....

Thanks,

Its been one crazy day for me, bogey 1 and 6, and figure that I'm going to be out of it for a while. I then proceed to make my first ever birdie on 8, then i bogey 9, but then turn around and birdie 10. I then proceed to birdie 13 to get back to even par for the day.

However, I then hit one in the water on 14 and take a double bogey. Next hole, par 5, I hit my second shot in the water, but then get up and down for a par. I'm on 16 right now, trying to hang on

I apparently don't know the meaning of the word par.

Today's round thus far...

Bogey, Birdie, Bogey, Bogey, Par, Bogey, Birdie, Par, Double, Birdie

I finished with a birdie on 18 to shoot 73 on the day and stand at +8 overall. I looked at some of the exemption categories under instructions and Category 9 says: Players who made the cut at Qualifying School.

So it seems as if there will be a cut today, I know some people seemed unsure about it.

I actually made the cut in Qschool, whatever that means. Not sure there's any money in Qschool (at least there isn't in real life), and I have no prayer at earning a card.

I'm dreadful today. Does the course get harder on the weekend?

Side note: I'm a "brilliant" driver, but I've hit 14% of the fairways in the first couple of rounds. What gives?

What tourney is everyone entering this week?

I'm going to try to play in the Chattanooga Classic. The South African course is a long one.

Sigh. Was +4 Thursday, overanalyzed my round, micromanaged my tactics, and paddled my way to a +7 Friday.

BTW, has anyone trained >3 times in a week and not gotten injured? Seems like a lot of us are reporting 15 day blisteritis... not me, of course, since I'm chicken shit, but still...

I tried it and was safe on the 6th day. So, perhaps, spacing it out rather than 4 consecutive days give you a better chance of escaping?
