Did anybody associated with the horse figurine understand that it is a "one-shot" item?

Abe has just pointed this out to me, and I'm frankly kinda . . . pissed/disappointed/confused

In all of the descriptions of it, I don't recall ever seeing that it was a one-shot item and then it would disappear.

I sure as hell wouldn't pay the equivalent of 100 gp for ONE extra move ONE time.

Not to be a little bitch about it . . . .

I didn't know that it was a one-shot item. Was never told that by Pass when he ID'd it. I didn't think it would enable you to do it every turn, but I assumed it was like every other day or something.

I'm not as flush with gold as I once was, but I'll try to throw a few more gold pieces your way after the next movement phase if I come across any, okay?

List of Prestige items that have been seen to this point:

Plain Helm
Silver Needle
Mystical Tuning Fork
Dyes
Vial of purest water
Ideally Shaped Table Leg
Scissors

That's almost 1/4th of all the prestige pieces that are available or have been seen. Doesn't look like any 4 of them could combine into anything at this point.

Hmmmm interesting piece of magic this Spade Jackal. It is a Spade of Digging. If you activate if you will know if any of the walls contain valuable ore which you then can sell to the Djinni. Has a few drawbacks-counts as one of your three weapons, and you likely won't be able to carry much ore without some kind of help. And the spade itself can't be used as a weapon even though it counts as one. Worth 400 gold.

Actually Ihave. I wanted a plate suit for it..at least the ability to buy one. but I was beaten to it. the up shot was I sold it to get those funds. I no longer have it.
