After watching in horror the death of hoopsguy in front of most of you, the horror slowly changes to relief as you find him to have been a cowboy. Some conversations occur involving his death, as well as how he got the gun before most people end up leaving for dinner or drinks. Oddly enough, the majority of the crowd chooses to not go to the saloon this evening, service there has been horrible of late.
Most of the town eventually finds themselves at home, where they spend a good night sleep peacefully. When the morning's first sun appears, for the first time in days there are no cries of murder or death.. Perhaps this is a sign that the cowboys are on the run finally? Tired players: Lathum Chief Rum Current Sheriff: Chubby Currently in Jail: Barkeep Path12 Racer Deadline for Day8: 9:00pm EST Wednesday night. Your current sheriff is still alive, so a new sheriff is not needed. If you wish to elect a new sheriff, please do so by posting: elect playername Sheriff election is not mandatory as not voting confirms your desire to keep the current sheriff. For a new sheriff to be elected, they must receive more than 50% of the alive townspeople vote. (6 votes) There are three valid players for lynch votes today: Barkeep, Path12 and Racer. If you do not post any lynch vote, it is assumed you wish to not lynch them. To lynch players please post as: Lynch playername. To lynch multiple players, please post: Lynch playername Lynch playername2 Lynch playername3 In order to lynch a player you must receive more than 50% of the alive townspeople's vote. (6 votes) |

OK, I guess it is time to reveal since I am tired today. I thihk we may be close to endgame. I know for a FACT barkeep is a cowboy. My role is the pony express rider. Basicly I have the ability to here snippets of PM's when I deliver the mail to them. The first night I was "delivering" a message to anxiety, but since it was CR who answered the door I was forced to leave. After that I was jailed and said my ability was a "single use only" I lied about that because I didn't want to be shot in my sleep. From then I toed the line so the cowboys would keep me around since I got some heat.
2 nights ago I decided to look into hoops message, he was sending it to BK but BK was in jail so my PM stated I was to hold onto the message until BK was released. Once hoops was executed I was sent a PM saying I could read the letter since hoops was dead. Reading the letter was considered a night action which is why I am tired today. the PM said something along the lines of " there is no way we can win without a conversion" I swear I am telling the truth, lynch BK tonight, if he is a villegar then kill me, I deserve it. And btw, I carry a gun because I have some hazards on my job as you can imagine. |

I am leaning towards beliving Lathum and taking out Barkeep. If Barkeep is good, we can jail and lynch Lathum next. |

Well given my poor judgement on Swaggs and Glengoyne, I suppose I deserve to be in jail. The fact that no one was killed last night lends me to believe that either all remaining Cowboys are in jail or all but one is in jail because I don't think a Cowboy would want to risk being tired at this point in the game. Anyways, I suspect I will likely be lynched tonight so I will go ahead and reveal what little unrevealed information I have left about myself. I have no night or day actions. Chubby can confirm that I don't have a gun although that doesn't mean a lot since no one has been murdered by a gun at night since Hoops was locked up. Ntndeacon can reveal my vices if I am lynched.
Finally, I recommend we only lynch two tonight since we can only put two new people in jail a day. If you think I am one of the two most likely to be Cowboys, by all means vote for me. If we lynch three tonight, then we will be helping out the Cowboys if there is still one out there. Lynch Barkeep Lynch Path12 |

Now Lathum's story rings true to me because I was trying to figure out all night why hoops only shot Glen when he beat up the deputee and didn't shoot Barkeep as well. Barkeep being bad is the obvious answer.

Didn't we have a murder by knife two nights ago (when I was in the process of picking up hoops and glen)? Barkeep was still in jail at that point so I think there may be a 4th and that he is already in jail now (or they didn't try a kill last night and went for conversion)... anyway, I think one at a time is our best bet to verify Lathum (whom I believe at this point)

Racer - Sure he "could" have (I found him at home with a bottle of whiskey in his hand) but I'd think he's kill via gun if he was the killer that night since he WAS the sharpshooter.
He may have been out of bullets too, I don't know. That's why I'm suggesting we go one at a time right now. With 11 people left we're either at: 10:1 or 9:2 ratio of villagers to wolves |

I am missing three pieces of information in my master list:
Anxiety, do you have a gun? What are spleen's and bullet's roles? I know spleen is mortician but that is an occupation, not a role. |

Since I have been suspicious of Barkeep for a while, this is a foregone conclusion.
LYNCH Barkeep If we're sitting at 9:2 right now, I like our odds. With Barkeep being a cowboy, thanks Lathum!, we're down to 9:1. I think we already have the other cowboy in the kitty, so we're sitting pretty. We're in good shape, fellas. |

What's going on today? Lathum confirms that Barkeep is a cowboy, so we're satisfied? Well, I'm not!
ntn, after viewing path last night, why do you think it is a good idea to lynch him? What did everyone learn last night? This is the first day where there's not much information sharing going on. What gives? |

Um, yeah, whatever -- thanks for your input. Moving on to actual thoughts: You know, no deaths last night mean one of three things: 1) There was a conversion or conversion attempt. 2) There is one cowboy out there who did not want to show as tired. 3) All cowboys are now in jail. There is only about 5 of us who are suspect, and 3 of those are in jail so option 1 would be the worst case scenario because it would likely mean that someone who is currently trusted may have been turned. Option 2 will become most valid if there is a killing tonight. If Lathum is to be believed (and really, there's no reason he shouldn't be -- if Barkeep ends up good Lathum goes next), then we're on the right track with a BK lynch tonight. If you believe that either there are two cowboys in jail, or am not sure about Lathum's claim, then you could make a case for lynching all three of us and seeing if you can end the game tonight. Of course, if wrong we put ourselves in a more precarious position number-wise. End free-association rambling.

It's the Blade strategy! To be fair, I mentioned a couple of days ago that we should look at hoops and BK because they were both alive and serious vets and why hadn't they been killed? Were they bad guys? Were they decoys?

Let's suppose, hypothetically, that I have a real gun I use in shows instead of a fake gun and I keep it for protection. Why would I want to broadcast to cowboys that I have it in case I can kill one? Let's suppose, hypothetically, that I don;t have a real gun and can only be killed during the day because of my role. Why would I want to broadcast to cowboys that I can be offed at any time? This is not a piece of information that will indicate whether I am good or bad, but it is a piece of informaiton that could help the cowboys. So again, why would this be important information to a villager?

I'm going out for a little while.
The plan is verify Lathum by lynching Barkeep tonight (we're on schedule for that). If the game doesn't end at that point then we go from there. I really don't see the point in keeping secrets at this point in the game. Everyone has claimed a role and whether they have a gun except: Anxiety - gun bulletsponge - role By not talking they are casting a lot os suspicion on themselves. |

Because the more information we have as a village, the better. I'm a little confused as to why you think you should be one of the only one's to not reveal something. You are not the most likely target of the cowboys, unless there's more you aren't telling us. Numerous people have stated they don't have guns, yet there's still been only been one showdown; one that everyone asked for and resulted in the death of a cowboy. Why do I care? Because not revealing is very suspicious and is going to make you a likely candidate for jailing tonight if you continue to only care about your own hide instead of the village. |

And you are still dodging my question. How does this piece of information help the village. This one piece. You can hem and haw all you want about how others have done it and what, but you still have yet to discuss how this one specific piece of information is beneficial.

I'm not dodging anything, you refuse to come clean about whether you have a gun or not. I hope by the time I have to send in night actions you do.
There's no purpose to keep whether you have a gun or not secret. It serves no purpose than to try and ensure your personal survival. The information does not put you at risk yet you continue to keep it secret. |

I don't even understand that. Wolves tell the truth moer than they lie - that's how they don't get caught. You wouldn't even have a way of verifying if I am telling the truth or not without arresting me, which would only happen you implied, if I didn't tell - that's odd logic. Further, there are legit reasons for villagers to lie. All three of those points exist to thrawrt your flawed logic. We didn't get anyone in this game because of gun info. -Anxiety

If you say you don't have a gun and I find one on you, that would pretty much verify that you had lied. The only reason for you to keep quiet and not commit to anything is for your own good, it's not helping the village. Villagers put there ass on the line when revealing information (see me and lathum as two prime examples this game). You however, refuse to do that whatsoever.
