A train pulls up the the first station on Cabin Creek. Out walk several gun-thugs with rifles. Then out pour scabs. Dozens of scabs brought in to break up the strike and work anyway. They are all black.
Racial strife begins to break out among labor. For today, all Black workers are downgraded. Experts work a 1 unit instead of their bonus, and workers working outside their area of specialization will put in no work.

Ok in case I die I want to get something out there. I think our COT is dangerously large. Here's how I think about things, in decreasing order of trust:
Cleared by role (trust 100%: If any of these guys are bad we'll either have to discover it very late because assuming anything else screws us): Barkeep Poli TheNorm Cleared by seer (trust 80-90%: always has the chance of being a cunning wolf): ChiefRum Lathum Cleared by bodyguard (trust 60-75%: I can concoct several scanarios where he's bad): EaglesFan |

No one else makes my CoT. People might be more likely to be good than not, but they shouldn't get inclusion in the CoT no matter how villagerish their actions are. They shouldn't be considered for lynch either, at this point, but let's not mix our known goods with others.

I'm also hoping that since my switch was late enough that if Dubb is a wolf he didn't get a chance to switch his work to faking.

The first day of work in Cabin Creek ends. You have put in a lot of work today, but the scabs brought in have shaken you a bit. Still, you have completed over half of the work needed today.
Patrolling – 10/10 Food Distribution – 7/10 Gladhandling – 9/10 Oratory – 7/10 That’s a lot of work, even with scabs dividing your group a bit. Tomorrow, it looks like you will have very little to do in order to complete the Cabin Creek mission. As the sunlight winks away, you meet over a campfire, and decide who to oust. After some severely heated conversation, you again find yourself swayed by the words of Barkeep, especially since he led you straight once before. You see his words as a way to end the deadlock, so you Oust dubb. He protests severely, but you will have none of it. You put him on a small boat and send him down the creek, where it will join with the Kanawha, and from there, to Charleston. After some investigation, however, you uncover that dubb was no Sympathizer, he was as much a union man as the rest of you! Night Five ends at 1:00 am Tomorrow there will be no Oust vote, but there will be a mission plus work.

Ok, question.
The penalties for the black workers. Are the results reflective of that or will the penalty be applied tomorrow? |

Danny, I'm not a wolf either, but since we were villager/villager (from my eyes), I think there may still be data to be had.

The WV Department of Mines begins to keep lists of union men and distributes them to companies in the state, so that they will not hire any people who were, at any point in time, a member of the unions.

I need some time away from the thread for a bit, to clear my thoughts. I will try to look things over and post a run down of all my thoughts before the deadline, just in case.
I'll also load up and prepare, just in case any of those sympathisers get any crazy ideas. D Maybe we should have went all out with that mission the other day. I wonder if this could have been the end game event, if we had won him over. |

If we are villager/villager I think those who waivered a lot, put in late votes etc... are probably not the wolves. The wolves would have wanted to establish the candidates early. I wish now I would have went with Dubb and voted Jeheinz.

Not the JH part, the part about how in villager/villager wolves don't want to be the deciding vote.

Just came on to this. Couple thoughts. First, 2004 and 2005 is a long time ago. Please don't make my head hurt like that. Second, I have no real read on dubb. Clearly. This is hardly unsusual for me though. Third, I stand by my vote. Obviously, in retrospect, I would prefer to have lynched someone else today. But lynching someone based on good solid vote analysis is good WW. To me if you change your vote around a bunch you're bound to draw suspicion. I know I have in the past. And as such I've tried to move my vote around less. This last point is mostly why I've made this post: I think given the information at the time, dubb presented an interesting case. As I read back I'm better understanding the case against PB (forgot the mission business) but also inclined, based on how things went down, to think we were villager/villager. Especially because we were already nailing dubb based on vote analysis. If someone changes late and dubb comes up wolf (or vice versa for that matter) we're likely to head in their direction making the wolves inclined to keep their vote on whoever they had started on, whether that person was wolf or villager. |

After reading through I think the odds of villager/villager are high, but certainly think PB's selfish move was worth of a vote and even lynch.
