Doesn't help that it really was a stupid commercial.

kick the field goal. you need some points - ANY points to instill some hope.

Take the points when you have the chance against this defense.

I just don't understand why Fox went for it there. It's still early enough, put the points on the board.

Bad risk there, kicking gets you on the board. Not scoring potentially puts the nail in the coffin. If Seattle can get just a field goal before the half it becomes a 4 score game AND they get the ball 1st in the second half.

With 3 you're still down three TD's basically. With 7 you get it to two TD's.

The FG protects you against missing a 2 point conversion. Normally I'd be like, go for it, but you gotta get a FG.

Either way they would still be down 3 TDs

Technically with 3 they would be down 2 TD's and a FG.

What is working out for them is Seattle is just running the clock out.

Yes, but now the team is still starting at a 0 on the scoreboard, is losing hope... and realistically, you are definitely going to allow at least a FG between now and end of game.

This is not a purely mathematical decision, you need to think about shit like morale and momentum.

22-0 Seattle at halftime. In a related story, Fox executives looking for a bridge to jump off.

Whole team is playing awful. Moreno could have easily prevented that pick 6. Oline not playing well either.

Yes, or allowing a FG later. A million solid reasons to kick the FG. Particularly with the timing right before half time and not getting the ball back.

Two TD's and a FG if they're able to convert both 2 point plays. They're struggling to collect 1st downs right now. I think you had to try to get the TD there.

Since they're still the Seahawks, someone needs to turn down Percy Harvin's turbo button. I can't wait til he flunks a drug test for having a Nitrous pack.

You have to go for it because it's pretty obvious your td opportunities are going to be limited. Those saying he should kick a Fg should interview for the browns job.

I think the only hope for Denver at this point is if Seattle forgets to come out for the second half.
