KWit, as far as I can tell, Schmidty's vote history is: Blade, Desnudo, and Packerfanatic unless I missed an unvote somewhere. I'm pretty confident all are survivors, so this doesn't help his case in my book.

You can't consider Blade a bad vote, since it was the first day and there was nothing else to go on. Also, the Desnudo vote was a very good one. Even though some people think there's a chance that he wasn't an other, I am certain that he was. As far as the king vote, I explained why I didn't vote for him various times. If I had, it would have been a "late vote" and would have been scrutenized, so I really couldn't win.

I haven't checked on it, but I'd like to know your vote history. If I have time after lunch, I'll check on it.

I agree on the first, and half-agree on the second. It's up in the air on Desnudo as to whether he was an other or not. I'm not going to say a vote for him was necessarily a good one - hell, I think I voted for him - but we can't really say it's a bad one either.

Based on his hard push toward me without a whole lot to go on, it would probably be pennywise; however I am not sure about the majority of people here. I don't think the votes on Bearcat are bad, but they're risky since I'm not at all sure about him, other than the fact that he's been very quiet. I guess I'll also take a closer look at saldana and Raiders Army, since I don't really have a handle on them.

I just think that the fact that in AE's description of people's reaction toward Desnudo was pretty definitive.

Some of the survivors remark they never remember Desnudo being on the plane at all. That said, a few of you contend that you did see him on the plane, and that he often talked about his home, which is more than could be said about Alan T.

The fact that "Some" of the survivors don't remember him being on the plane, and only a "few" do, sounds like the "few" that didn't would most likely be Others.

That, combined with other factors, makes it a good bet that he was an Other. Of course, I could be wrong, I suppose.

Makes sense. I'd love it if he was, since that means there'd be three down and likely only one to go.

Maybe one of the people working through the first season now can tell - was similar lines to that worked into the show at any point? One of the anonymous deaths - was he even on the plane? Yeah, he used to talk about ____? It seems familiar, but I can't place it.

Okay...I'm going to do a reveal, since I think we're making a mistake on bearcat.

In a nutshell, I am Sayid. I can communicate with one person each day. Day 1 I talked to Blade, Day 2, hoops. On day 3 I talked to spleen. I will leave out day 4 since I did not tell saldana whom I talked to that day. I talked to saldana today. My alarm bells are ringing right now with him.

I went over what I talked to Blade about on day 1, and if you're a vet, you should know that sometimes he's pretty accurate.

His take on everyone on day 1 when everyone checked in:

mckerney: no mention of survivor. Just checked in. We found out he had a special role.

Schmidty: just says I am here

bearcat: claimed to be a survivor...also seemed helpful

hoops: claimed to be a survivor

tanglewood: claims survivor

alant: just checks in

penny: claims survivor

kingfc: never claims survivor

kwhit: claims survivor

saldana: never mentions survivor

sndvls: never claims survivor (because he's not...he was the duke)

rpi: doesn't check in, just thanks sun for info
