Okay SnDvls - I have a question for you. How come we didn;t launch yesterday. I just want to know what your thought processes were. We had everything fixed, a cargo hold full of the stuff we were mining, and an operation to take out the OL had apparently succeeded in wounding him. Why didn't we lift iff?

Talgian was offed, he was a survivor. It was by order of SnDVls which is why there's the opportunity for mutiny tonight.

Addressing the Overlord does not necessarily mean killing it, though. We had just gotten information that the OL's powers grow over time and the logical conclusion is that wounding him or forcing it to fight would create an open window, right?

Ok, BK saying his change of the lynch being too late confused me. So our Capt killed our XO? Holy cow.

It doesn't effect, I don't think, any orders I already have, but there are no phasers tonight as dubb had used his AP earlier in the day going on the mission and thus could not use his AP as Sergeant-at-Arms.

I didn't really trust Talgian, I don't have a problem with Sndvls not trusting him either.. but I was pretty dead sure that we had a 50/50 shot with Dubb and Schmidty. I don't like prolonguing that on a hunch much.

SnDvls, I trust AlanT, I currently do not have faith in you, and I'm sure you can understand that. Therefore, I am going to ask you, assuming BK is alright with this, to voluntarily abdicate the captain's chair to AlanT, with you moving back to your previous First Officer position.

This came up last game, so I thought I'd remind you: Mutiny votes are secret. Only the final vote count is revealed, either way.

This is about how I feel. Taligian was one of a handful of guys on my suspect list, but I think the evidence leaning against Dubb after today was a lot more substantial. |

Exactly. Talgian was at best #3 or 4. I trust Alan's decisions, and fighting ability, much more than yours. I think where I'm going is obvious. |

Very well, then. I don't trust SnDvls, but, to be fair, I don;t think we can afford to lose another member of the command staff who is likely clean. After all, this would have been a blisteringly obvious move by a spawn.
Therefore, although all votes are to remain secret, I am announcing that my vote is NOT to mutiny.

I will also be voting in opposition of a mutiny. Losing sndvls fighting ability right now does not seem like an attractive option.
Unless people present a compelling argument that he is a spawn, I say we stick with him. |

SnDvls, I was the first to come out and support you. God as my witness, if you end up being all spawn-y, I am going to find some way to kill you when I run my WW game

So do we send BK a "yay" or "nay" vote, or only a vote if we wish for a mutiny?

I would play it safe and just send him a PM saying No mutiny or yes to mutiny just in case. I'm going to spend my night AP to write up two missions for tommorrow. I'll plan one Mining mission and one Overlord attacking mission just in case we want/need either of them... But I would like to strongly encourage Sndvls to take off from this planet as soon as we possibly can. I am hoping we do not have to use either of these missions tommorrow. |

First off, WTF!!!
Secondly, this statement sums it all up. Quote:
If you were going to change the vote, at least make it schmidty. Both of who were exhausted last night.

However, now knowing that Talgain is not bad, then I think it is fairly safe to assume that we have 2 or maybe 3 spawn in the dubb, schmidty, RA group.
I would suggest that we guard the engine room and have all 3 engineers fix the engine room. This should be non-negotiable.

perhaps we should double our shifts on the engine room, so that there is a system of checks there.

As the night comes to an end, most of you are relieved to see the Captain still safe and sound in the brig. It seems as though the mutiny failed by a vote of 5-1, with Schmidty, Alan, Bek, dubb, qwikshot, and Raiders Army failing to give their opinion .
Meanwhile, in the Engine Room path and Anxiety were hard at work fixing the Engines. In the Security HQ king could be seen around. While Alan was working hard in his quarters on some potential away missions. dubb was seen lurking, once again, around the Sleeping Quarters. But when everyone shows up to breakfast, there is some renewed hope. Until someone points out that the engines are still broken. Room Reports Engine Room – Damaged.
