I got my results. The Police initially said it was not their jurisdiction, but after I whined a lot, they said they would get me a copy of the police report but I have to come by and pick it up tomorrow.

why not?

the fact that the police said it isn't in their jurisdiction is the perfect excuse for why the police report is being filed in another country

But why start the whole thing at all? Unless I missed something, this is what Anxiety has claimed:

- they are attempting to convert me, I will take this sword which I put together from parts which were given to me by nfg22 and pass it to claphamsa to keep it out of the hands of the Underground.
- If I am not converted, evidence against me will be planted!
- I was not converted, and the Underground took the sword from me.
- I have the opportunity to investigate a crime.
- The crime is being investigated, I will get the results in the future.

It just seems to me that if he were bad, or was converted at some point, that there would be a simpler, easier to follow story to make up.

I'm not disregarding him as a candidate, but I think if you want to vote for him, you have to assume that he WAS converted when he said they took his sword away. And if you assume that, then you assume that he was good before that - in other words, that he was good when he claimed that he had a CHOICE about joining the Underground. Otherwise, if you assume he was Underground before that, or if you assume he was converted at some other tine, I find the whole thing hard to make sense of.

didn't he also say evidence would be planted on him, yet the cops haven't come for him?

From what I can see there have been no negative repercusions for turning down the underground

He said evidence would be planted at the scene of a crime implicating him, I think.

So if Anxiety is telling the truth evidence has been planted at the scene of a crime
The only crime at the time was Raiders Army who went off with his head
Anxiety will get a crime report next time
Wouldn't it be his name in the report to be read

Guys remember that Anxiety said that after he declined the underground, they told him they would NOT plant evidence because he was a dead man anyways.

You can use that as an argument in either direction, I'd say, but get the facts straight for sure.

Well, I would certainly hope you will talk about me so I can respond before leaving tomorrow night. Because as usual, I won't be around in the lead up to deadline Monday morning, as I will be at work.

I went to the beach, but was told it was too popular and crowded for me to recognize anyone else there from the cruise. I wasn't given any choices nor stopped by anything, so this deadline merely sees me return to the ship more relaxed and tan.

Interestingly enough, the other three on your list are somewhat suspicious to me as well.

Agreed. That bothers me too. Is it possible that he came up with a story to try to proactively explain some evidence that he thought the police would find?

I can confirm Jackal's location, as I saw Qwik, Cronin and TheJackal as I was leaving the bar to go back to the ship. Jackal was talking to some blonde woman that I had never seen before. It didn't say anything regarding whether she was a good guy or bad guy so I can't confirm he's good, but he was at the bar.

Sorry guys, mother-in-law is in town. Brief post of what happened for me. I went shopping, saw nobody, had a choice of the flea market or the craft store. I went to the flew market, got bored, and returned to the ship. I'll try to be around later.

Just a reminder that you all are voting for me based on how I've played this game not what I've done this game. Cronin's actions, I feel, speak much louder than my words, and Anxiety's inconsistencies are more troubling yet.

See, here's my problem with voting Anxiety. I agree with you on him; there's a lot going on there, and I am not sure how much is on the up and up.

But he claims to have a police report coming on RA's death, and while that may not be fair to whomever we choose to lynch, that kinda gives him a one day pass in my mind. I want to know if that report will have anything in it implicating someone. I think no matter how it goes down, Anxiety is a goner in the next two days (villager or no), lynched by us or vengeance-killed by the Underground for outing a member.

IMO, it's more valuable for us--today--to keep Anxiety alive. So no matter how I feel about his guilt or innocence, I am forced to look elsewhere.

Personally, I haven't decided where that elsewhere is, exactly. I'm not so certain you're the correct target, despite the gung ho approach on you of some others. I haven't ever really felt there was much evidence against you, and that the case on you is more based on the gut call of one or two people with influence, rather than evidence.

But that doesn't mean I won't vote for you. I am of the belief if we don't start lynching people every day, we will lose this game. It is obvious something is going on behind the scenes, and we haven't caught a member of the Underground yet, and we're hamstringing our search for them by blunting the impact of our votes (which have no analytical value without knowing if the persons said votes are used on are known to be good or bad).

Not yet. I would surmise that the report on RA could reveal his killer. And that report is--supposedly--on its way now to Anxiety. Of course, it might not out anyone. Or it might out Anxiety (the "planted evidence" theory). Or it might do either of these things, but Anxiety says it says something else, either because he is Underground, or he wants to live longer.

There are no inconsistencies, and I defy to find them. I can only relate what I am told by the GM in pms. You and I both know that AlanT often has convoluted plotlines like this in his games, so what's unusual?

Kind of in line with what I have been thinking
If Anxiety is lying it is a pretty damn elaborate one
So I Vote Barkeep to keep this boat from sinking
and prevent any more damage from being done

alrighty. I am back from work I will elaborate on my case(or lack there of) on the four candidtates I have chosen.
1. Anxiety
Bad stuff
He seems to be lying. He says he had something coming. Nothing came. He says he passed a weapon. The weapon is gone. He reports a crime that happened days ago. Then claims it is another jurisdiction so we have to wait on the report. Alot of inconsitencies. Even if he is a villager.
Good stuff
People say he is honest and probably wouldnt accept the underground. I dont know how much this holds but take it for what it is worth.

report on other three soon. More research being done.

ok. I just read through the thread again. That can really change your perspective on things. I am again unsure who to vote for. I still think something is fish with Anxiety's story but I cant tell if it is him or just the way it went. I agree that we should give him another day.

Claph, you are looking mighty suspicious. I personally would like you to come forth with your item, who you passed it to. Along with a confirmation by them. Ill tell you why and it isnt because I am a wolf looking to kill them. It would make sure that if you are a villager, another villager would say they recieved the item. Yet if you are a wolf, another wolf would have to vouch and thus we could get two wolves down with one stone.

As for now. UNVOTE KWIT

Okay, I have to get a vote in now, since I will be going to bed soon, and won't be around because of work tomorrow (and won't be around for the late deadline either--tomorrow is my two-job day).

I don't like to immediately jump on someone after he just got a vote, but I was leaning to voting claphamsa as well. I am waiting on Anxiety, so I won't vote him right now. I don't buy that Lathum has been lying, and I think st.cronin has been trying to help us. Barkeep is a gut thing for some people that I just don't really get.

claphamsa is connected to the whole Anxiety thing, and he also had another item he apparently passed that we don't know anything about. In and of itself, I don't think I would go with him, but connected with the under suspicion Anxiety, it concerns me a bit right now about just what he is up to. Plus, he has a vote already and we need a bunch to lynch people in this game.

So this is where my vote is going.

VOTE CLAPHAMSA

Back and caught up, though didn't miss much. Once again I will

VOTE LATHUM

For the reasons I've previously stated. And there is no way that Alan mentioning ropes verifies your story a single iota.....
