I overestimated The Inhumans at the halfway point. It makes Iron Fist look like an Emmy winner.

I had the misfortune of seeing this while grabbing a bite to eat.

Given how painfully bad it was to me -- who doesn't care one iota about it -- I can only imagine how much worse it was for anyone watching that actually cared.

I'm not sure it even reaches 90s syndication caliber. It looked more like a worst-of-Power-Rangers to me.

I finally watched the whole 2 hours. It had two main problems for me: 1) The Inhumans are probably one of the least known (liked?) Marvel families. It would have been nice to flesh out the characters a little more, and the society they have on the moon. Instead we just get a quick look at them, and then they are thrown into conflict with each other.

2. A lot of stuff when they got to Earth was just stupid/badly done. I thought they were supposed to be smarter/superior to us humans? They don't do a good job of showing it, especially Gorgon when he jumped underwater trying to find Triton, knowing full well he'd drown easily. Did he expect Triton to still be alive and save him? And all the scenes after that with the Hawaiian surfer boys was just cringeworthy. So I will probably watch one more episode to see where they are going with the story then give up on it.

The Good Place and The Orville are absolutely must watch TV at this point. The Good Place is the most well written and acted thing on a network in years. The Orville feels like an homage to Star Trek TNG through the eyes of Brian Griffin in the best way possible.

You know The Orville is there to fulfill Seth MacFarlane's fantasies because a) He loves Star Trek especially TNG and b) he gets to sleep with Charlize Theron.

I think I'd love any show with Seinfeld references and amputated legs.

The partially regenerated leg with the crutches got a spit take out of me. So absurdly brilliant.

The Gifted is No Ordinary Family with a much darker tone. For the premier that worked, we'll see how it goes the next few weeks.

Snoop's version of Joker's Wild is stunningly entertaining. I can't even switch back to the baseball game right now. Just a mezmerizingly perfect vehicle for him.

The Good Place is still brilliant.

The Gifted is horrendous. It's the worst of No Ordinary Family combined with the worst of Heroes.

If true, WOW

Some sources are even saying that Amazon bought the rights to produce material off The Silmarillion(Which the Tolkein Estate has thus far been reluctant to give) which if true would give me an instant nerd boner.

The season finale of Nathan For You was some great television. Laughed, cried. Had it all.

well thought I had started a 2018 TV thread, but I guess not. Anyway I bumped this to talk about a new SyFy/superhero show-Krypton-that starts tonight. Wasn't that interested until I saw the trailer. They are going back to when Krypton was still there, and telling the story of how Superman's grandfather had to be inspired by a time travelling Adam Strange from Earth/Rann to become the hero/legend that would inspire his grandson to become the hero that he would become on Earth, and why he wears the S on his chest. Oh and Brainiac is involved.

I thought the new Roseanne was pretty decent. First episode was kind of busy but the second was solid. Then again I'm a fan of the old show.

Roseanne may be the star, but Goodman makes the whole thing work.

I rather enjoyed the reboot myself. I do like how they brought in both Becky's. And completely agree, I really like Goodman

I never watched the original Roseanne show and figured the new show was based on nostalgia.

But man the show got more ratings than I ever thought it would.

ABC’s ‘Roseanne’ premiere was the highest-rated sitcom episode in years - The Washington Post

Even the President, who hates Hollywood, liked Roseanne. Gee I wonder why?

I do. Been one of my favorite shows since it started. Haven’t been able to watch the latest episode yet.

I assume/hope that some folks are still watching Legion? Back for season 2, weirder/cooler than anything else I watch.
