He clearly gets hit. I think the soccer flop actually worked against him there. It was so over the top and poorly done he wasn't getting the call.

Depends on what the comparison is. Developing a QB, Cut is 10000x better than CPJ.
Recruiting? Cut >>>>>>>.....>>>>>>.......>>>>>>>CPJ
Developing a staff? Cut >>>CPJ
Fund Raising/Booster buy in CUT>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>CPJ
Option Offense? Cut << Play calling? Push

Best years record wise with other folks players = CPJ
Improving and building a program with sustainable success = Cut

GT has a football tradition and is In Atlanta. Duke has no football tradition, and is the 6th most prestigious football team in its own state. A state with 1/12th the recruiting talent as found in GA. Ever losing to Duke should be unacceptable for GT.

Thank you Atocep!!!

I knew I saw the leg get hit. Back to my original statement. . . letter of the law, that's a roughing the kicker. You can't hit either leg until the follow through is over. That's a penalty.

And I still do not care that it wasn't called.

I was going to argue this, then realized you're right. A team like Clemson could lose 1 out of 5 times to Duke, but GT should win better than 9 out of 10.

My cat can outcoach that worthless son of a bitch on The Flats.

Can't recruit a lick. Can't coach up. Can't hire.

The problem is not, directly, the offensive scheme.
The problem is the clueless bastard behind it.

Well if you're right and he sucks, then what does that say about Cutcliffe that he's been outscored 249-130 by a clueless bastard?

Dola. I don't think CPJ's problem is hiring. Dave Wommack seems to be doing pretty well at Ole Miss. There must be something else wrong because he's on his third DC and the defense keeps getting worse and worse. It's not a talent thing either. Recruiting has been way better on the defensive side than the offensive side.

I've heard people who know way more about football than I do say that our DB's aren't getting taught correct technique. So maybe it is a hiring thing after all, just at the position coach level.

Lack of talent at Duke has been even worse than the lack of talent at Tech. Less fertile ground locally, less history (exponentially), what Cut has done there (same as Spurrier before him) is nothing short of a miracle.

I'm not sure what you are arguing.
I've long since been on record that a loss to Duke or Wake Forest in football, ever, by a Clemson coach should result in the coach being fired before he returns to the team bus.

And the last time either happened it took less than 12 hours for that to come to fruition.

Ugh. Sudfeld is out for the season. Roberson's transfer really hurts now.
