Andy,

The Bengals are doing a pretty good job of whipping the Bears. Please stop throwing INTs.

Thanks.

I would totally use the Simmons rule about changing franchises you cheer for if Weeden didn't suck so horrendously bad. 6-12 with 3 INTs.

Whoo! Having a good QB and a coach who knows how to run an offense is awfully nice. Huge holes for Jamal now that the Chiefs actually have a QB who is accurate.

Classic Ponder. Throw the ball away by lobbing it to a linebacker with no one else within 10 yards of him.

Carolina's front 7 looking like one of the best in football early on, they're getting tons of pressure on Russell Wilson. One good drive from the offense, if not for a couple awful drops by Olsen Carolina might actually be up multiple scores here.

I'll be the first to bitch about officials.

Roethlisberger sacked with 41 seconds in the half, while attempting pass. Ruled completion on the field, clock tuns down to 15 seconds.

Play reviewed (announcers said Munchak challenged, might just be Fouts being dumb, but that would be another issue). Ruled a sack...clock not reset to 0:41.

I used to think I had an idea of most rules. I question it more each week.

Miami's RB is averaging 0.4 per carry. This is what you get when you let your starting tackle and RB leave during the offseason.

Thus far...typical Bears. Defense & Special Teams keeping them in the game, anemic offense.

Lions have 45 plays compared to the Vikings 18 and yet are still down.

Just saw they had a pick 6 called back by a blocking penalty on the return, ouch.

Steelers with only 2 points at the half, fans must be raging about that, seeing that they are playing the Titans.

Ah so nice to have football Sundays again. Good luck to everyone's team this season. Especially to my beloved Cardinals, who are gonna need a lot of it

I see Amendola is hurt in the New England game, boy that's a shock that he got injured...not. Looks like Edelman doing a good job replacing Welker.

Bucs new $40M safety Goldsen penalized twice for unsportsmanlike conduct for hard hits with his shoulder on defenseless receivers...I don't get it. Isn't this what sent him to the pro-bowl for 2 years straight with the 49ers?

It'd be nice if the DLine would do something too. Peppers hasn't even made it into the box score.

Just as the announcers start to praise Cutler for looking good...he throws an absolutely awful pick straight to Cinci.

Typical.

Ugh, gut punch right there for Carolina fans, running the ball really well (after some help from seattle with a couple big penalties), and Williams fumbles inside the 10...

Yep. Another season, lots of hope, same fucking lack of discipline from the players and lack of any sort of game management from the coaching staff. What the Bengals could do one of these years without Lewis's coaching blunders and the team's stupid penalties. (15 yard late hit gives Chicago a field goal to end the 1st half, Maluaga's penalty ends the game)

Really disappointing loss by Cincy. They were dominating, but they made too many mistakes. Hope this game isn't important in January.

Liked what I saw from Trestman today. He managed the game very well. His offense actually looks like a modern NFL offense, which is something odd to see as a bears fan. The plays develop quickly and the vast majority of routes run are short to intermediate. It wasn't run beautifully, but it looked a lot better than what I'm used to seeing.

The defensive line was non-existent. The defense was rather average but forced some turnovers.

AJ Green is a beast.

On a brighter note the AFC North appears to be headed to 0-4 and Pittsburgh might actually be as bad as they seemed this summer on paper.

The Bengals have a pretty good o-line so don't judge the Bears too much by this game. You should be excited about that offense though because Cincy has a damn good defense.

The match-up of top picks today was pretty lopsided. Elvis Fischer looked great. Joeckel looked lost, including a key miss that allowed Hali to get a pick six. I'd say chalk that up to coaching this early in their career.

Feel bad for Gabbert. He may not be starting QB material, but the offensive line is terrible and not giving him much of a chance.

Geno has looked pretty good today for the Jets. They're asking him to be the entire offense and for a rookie he's stepped up about as much as you could ask him to.
