That is a stomach punch for Texas.

Looked like TT had dicked around and wasted too much time, missing their FG opportunity.

Harrell runs the 2-minute offense better than most NFL starting QBs.

Crabtree is such the man. I feel like I should be wearing a dress in comparison.

Are TT fans not able to read digital clocks?

LOL, "the ruling on the field is confirmed" and the fans storm the field again.

Imagine what would have happened if he had reversed the call.

They need to put learning to tell time in the Texas Tech requirements to graduate.

For the official? About 2 seconds.
For the game? It wouldn't have mattered, I can't imagine they would have finished it tonight after a homicide.

They don't even need that. If they fair catch the kickoff, they'll have a final chance at a pass into the end zone.

Great game. It's about time one of these big games finally lived up to the hype. For the most part, most of the marquee matchups this year have been pretty disappointing.

I was saying the same thing to SirFozzie. You take away the fair catch opportunity, and barring the mother of all fumblerooskies, they're not going to be able to score off the return.

Yep.

Crabtree is going to look really good lining up on the other side of the field from Calvin Johnson...

I kid.

Fun game to watch on Saturday night, especially now that there's no baseball on TV.

But.. depending on the risk, if they grab on it while on the ground, no time runs off.

Mark this one down. Texas Tech will lose to Oklahoma State next week. There's no way that they're going to be mentally prepared for that game.

No way Tech wins the next 2 games. Those are absolutely brutal. But still, a huge win for the team and the school. It was a fun game to watch as a fan.

It was a different kind of game, but I thought last week's Penn State/Ohio State game was very entertaining. Even though I'm an Ohio State fan I recognized that it was a classic low-scoring low-skill Big Ten clash

For those of you with the Mountain Network, New Mexico is trailing #10 Utah 13-10, with 1:02 left. NM has the ball on their own 42.

I think this is the last televised game tonight, but someone correct me if I'm wrong. Oregon State is leading Arizona State 24-16 early in the 4th quarter on FCS Pacific.

A tape of that game has actually replaced my "Sounds Of The Ocean" CD for when I lay down to go to sleep.

But whoever lost to the North team in the title game would no longer be ranked 1 or 2 - like Missouri last year.

Hopefully Tech beats the Pokes next week because it benefits Oklahoma. It sets up the three-way tie scenario we've been hoping for and it also sets up a huge game in Norman the Saturday before Thanksgiving.

But what are the chances that a North team wins AND two south teams are 1-2. I guess Texas Tech wins out, loses to whoever in the North and Texas/Oklahoma/Oklahoma State are 1-2 with Alabama losing twice, Florida losing, and Penn State losing...probably SC losing as well for good measure. But that would be pretty aweing.

That's also exactly where they had to fall to ... unless voters wanted to leave a team that just lost in front of someone who didn't.

They aren't going to be ranked ahead of the three unbeatens above them now, Oklahoma, Florida & USC all embarrassed opponents (albeit of varying quality).
There wasn't anywhere higher they were going to rank this week.
