Wonder why Reid wouldn't just burn a timeout to give the booth guys the chance to have another look??

Not to take attention away from the Pats actually having to try in the second half of a game, but am I reading correctly that the Giants may be the first team ever to consider playing a player back on offense?

At the very least, it was close enough that it should have been reviewed.

I'm at odds. It would be nice to see the Patriots lose but my fantasy football season is based on Westbrook not getting another 4.5 points.

I'm lucky. I have Westbrook and need the points in my league with him AND I want the Eagles to beat the Pats. So no conflict of interest here.

Any other coach calls that play on 3rd and long, they'd be derided for calling a giveup play.. for the Pats, it's great (because it works)

wow. That's a pure reputation pass interference call.

And the call takes points off the board.

Feeley to Brown! I never thought this game would be close late in the 3rd, much less the Eagles would be ahead

The Pats aren't playing like they deserve to win.. there's been like 6-8 drops so far tonight.

So if the Patriots can't pull this one out - does it support Moss for MVP (take him away, the Pats lose), or Brady for MVP (Eagles were able to take Moss away to begin with)?

Put up similar numbers in a crappy Dolphins' offense last season...I'd say he's legit at what he does...play the slot and run after the catch.

It supports the New England OL for MVP.

Brady and Moss don't have the time to do their thing. Philadelphia is outnumbering their OL in many cases so it's all on Brady and the WRs. They're not performing. The Patriot OL is dominant to the point that you have to send 6 or more to get pressure.

This is how you beat the Pats. Be aggressive with receivers over the middle, accurate passes, and get pressure on Brady.

I don't think Moss has much of a chance for MVP in any case. Brady wins it hands down IMO, right now. If he doesn't win it then it is Favre with the "wow, look what the old man is doing" vote taking him a long way.

I'm pretty sure Brady has to either get hurt and miss the rest of the season, or throw 0 TD/2 INT every game the rest of the year to not win the MVP.

Pats should be up by 6-10 right now (the Moss "pass interference" call pisses me off, but they still had a chance at points from scrimmage and then the kick)..

I'm not sure about the Pats stopping Feely's passing, mind you though.

Yeah, that is pretty much what I meant. The Favre part was put in there to say who I think would win if the former happened. I am pretty sure the later is not going to happen for Brady.
