Geez... Kind of a surprising play to call, but well done.

Still plenty of time for USC to get into FG range, though.

These announcers are lame.

"Touchdown USC!"

"And now Stanford will go for the tie!"

A slight push off, but there is no doubt he caught it.

Who are the announcers in this game?

Just curious as to what type of "talent" Versus has for NCAA football.

LSU with another fake FG variation. Gets the first down when the holder (Flynn) runs for it.

If he doesn't redeem himself, I want to see a new starter next week, even though Booty's receivers have dropped a lot of catchable balls.

Good penalty!

I'm really curious what the opinions of other SC fans on Booty vs. Sanchez. I've never thought Booty was that good.

And on queue... down he goes.

Fitting end to the game. I can't believe USC lost to Stanford. The only consolation is that if USC can beat Cal and run the table the rest of the way they still have a good chance to get back into the NC picture.

Hate to break it to the announcers, but I still think App St. over Michigan was a bigger upset. This is up there, though. Wow.

Kirk Herbstreit is visibly aroused by the prospect of the Buckeyes in the top 2. It is going to be a long season...

I don't know. Losing to Cal or even Washington is one thing, but I think a loss to Stanford kills any chance. Just my feeling.

Not so fast! Its going to be an uphill battle, but LSU will be a better team (and is so far) in the second half. They need to stop Tebow and force more punts now though.

Well, Cal and Oregon are still highly ranked and if they beat them both and run the table, they could get back into the #2 slot. Of course, they need Ohio State and LSU and probably a few of the other undefeated teams to lose or there is no chance.

I'm actually not liking it perosonally.. the only way I'd like this season is if there was a playoff.. in the bowl system, I don't like that we have a huge muddle of teams..

But, idano... maybe this season brings up a stronger argument for playofffs...

At least ND is up on UCLA 13-6. If ND gets their first win of the season against UCLA that would cheer me up a bit.

Damn... Teel got lucky that ball wasn't picked off. 20-14 Rutgers now, with the FG on the ensuing play.

It makes the argument against a playoff in my view. Makes every game count. Most of these teams are falling to lower-tier teams to say the least.
