Now you could argue the whole "instinctve" part on that call, but essentially seymour moved in a way that drew the o-lineman of, so the call was good.

Got it. (Might have missed contact earlier, but wow)

I thought so. Every place that I remember reading has always said that face guarding is legal in the NFL and that there is only a penalty if there is contact.

But if you're a defensive back and the ball hits you in the back of the head it's not pass interference. It doesn't really make sense for that play to be pass interference. I guess it's the rule, but doesn't make a lot of sense.

What's interesting is I'm a Dolphins fan and my fraternal big brother's a Bills fan...

...and we're both wanting the Colts to win this game.

Oooh, nice drop!

I might be mixing up the rules, but at least in college, that would have been a false start.

It does look like he was out of bounds before he leapt.

But I think is downward momentum and the way he was falling would have caused his butt to hit outside out of bounds first before his foot/leg.

Why? It was clear his one foot was in bounds and his other foot was further inside of the endzone. He would came down with both feet in easily, imo.

The reason his heels never hit the chalk is because when you're running and then jumping you don't do it flat footed. It's all about the toes.
