Even as a Jet fan I have to agree. At first I thought it was going to be a total bullshit ticky-tacky call... but he really drilled him with his right arm.

Tough to tell. I can't tell weither he was swatting at anything in case the ball was still in his hand, or if it was 100% cheap shot.

Tough to imagine any player would be so stupid as to intentionally throw a cheapshot in there though, given the situation.

It looked intentional when it was slow, but the fullspeed replay looked like his arm just wasn't under control and he was just trying to do all he could to get at Brees.

The Jets have to win the toss to have a chance here.

Yeah, but they go as long as it takes and the rules are a bit different. He was just trying to highlight that.

Chargers win the toss.

I see them rolling down the field and winning with a field goal. The Jets just seem worn out on defense.

I'm pretty sure Madden doesn't know what he's talking about. if they could just let him go and just import phrases from Madden 99 everything would be ok.

Well, the one positive for me is the fact that I'll win money as long as the game doesn't end on a safety. I would love to combine it with a Jets win though.

If the Chargers don't touch the ball again, that call is going to get a lot of crap until next season.

It's a distinct possibility.

Herm, who not use a timeout earlier when your defense is obviously exhausted and just getting killed?

No, wait until they're in field goal range instead.
