I suck. Sorry, Kodos. I shouldn't volunteer if I don't get around to doing it.
Congrats to all the winners. CR

I wouldn't worry about it, Chief. Writing a presentation is the kind of thing that is easy to put off almost indefinitely, especially if you have other stuff that you are busy with. It's hard to take time to do a writeup when there are other things out there that are just higher priorities and you've only got a finite amount of time to do things. I just figured that I would take care of things today for the sake of finishing the awards off, since the whole process of making the awards started way back in December (the nominations, etc.) and here we are in mid-March. With all the tweaking of the awards categories and requests for feedback and whatnot, it's just been a long process for me, and I frankly just wanted to be done with the whole thing for the year at this point. Now that the awards categories have been finalized, maybe it'd be more of a streamlined thing to run the show next year. Still, I'm hoping somebody else might want to take up the mantle on this thing next time around. I think maybe two years of running the show has been enough for me. If somebody out there wants to take it over, it's yours. Of course, I'd be happy to still lend a hand in some form. By the way, I'd like to take a moment to thank everyone again who made this whole thing a success this year. Klayman helped me tally the votes and make some decisions as to how to handle things that came up along the way. And we had a bunch of guys write entertaining presentations. Lots of people took the time to vote, which I appreciate as well. Thanks to everyone, and thanks to the dynasty writers who inspired me to start the Golden Scribes in the first place. Keep up the good work! Cheers, - Kodos |

Wow. GB completed a Return of the Kings-like sweep of the awards.

Well, almost. My accidental forgetting to put him in the finalist list for Dynasty of the Year pretty much screwed up his chances in that category. Still, it was the most dominating performance by a dynasty that the Golden Scribes have ever seen. |

Buzz buzz.......buzz buzz.........buzz buzz. (darn phone has been ringing all night - don't these people realize that I have the flu!)
SplitP1: Yello. Kodos: Where the hell were you? SplitP1: Huh. Kodos: The Golden Scribes. You were supposed to be a presenter? SplitP1: What are you talking about. That's tomorrow night. Kodos: No. It was tonight you doofus. SplitP1: What day is it? (looks at the calendar). Oh carp. The medicine I took must have knocked me out for a whole day. My God. I LOST HOURS! Kodos: Sigh. You weren't the only one. SplitP1:Uh......I'm really sorry about that Kodos. Kodos: No problem. Get some sleep. I echo what Chief Rum said. He sucks. No wait. I suck too. In all seriousness, congrats to all the winners. Kodos. I owe you one. |

And SplitP carefully raises the Blaster Launcher and aims it directly at the Commander.
