8 spots left I take it?
MrBug, could ask for a outline or whatever or ask if they will ocntribute in terms of a team dynasty, ect to break the ties in applications. Or could go by market location and size. |

Cuervo,
Wanna take a crack at a helmut for my team? I'm thinking that is going to be my team name in the other league as well. Colors are black and red. You the man. TroyF |

No kidding. Crazy Canadian doesn't know the difference between and city and a state... Hmmm, Las Cruces, NM is in the database. That would be another natural rivarly for El Paso (since the citites are about a half hour away from each other)...

I don't think between El Paso and Las Cruces a team can fill a stadium. Let alone 2 stadiums. Unless you plan on a major fan base from Warez (sp?) |

Cuervo, if you could make a helmet for me here's what I'd like.
I'm attaching a logo to put on, and the two colors in the upper right are the maroon for the helmet color and gold for face mask. Thanks in advance if you can do it. |

Juarez...
And actually a couple of years ago UTEP averaged over 35,000 fans per game with a couple of games over 50,000. El Paso fans will come if there is a winner. But you're right about Cruces. They would be lucky to draw 20,000...

Fans in the Minnesota area will come for a winner, so City Lights will be filled to capacity from the begining.

Did anyone get my PMs or app submission I re-sent today? I'd like one of the teams, but I saw that Las Vegas was taken already, and thats where I submitted for. I'll take San Antonio and be the Armadillos if possible.

I put in an application for a team in Lafayette, Louisiana...I am pretty sure it is in the game database but if yall are looking for a 'larger' market I would be more than happy to move to Jackson MIssissippi or somewhere around there....that is if I am accepted

I'll sure as heck give it a shot. I should be able to find a good dynamite logo (I'm assuming that's what you really want and not J.J. ) Any accent colors like silver or white? Preferred main helmet color? Quote:
I can, and doing so with a logo and color scheme makes it easier. I might have to put a border color around the logo to get some contrast between that and the maroon, but maybe not. I'll see. Is it ok if I flip the logo for a left facing helmet? Stripes ok?

Guys, I am going to be out of pocket for a couple of hours but will be back with an update. Some of the outstaning invitations (now expired) were accepted so I think we are up to 28. If you do not get in the league, you will be put on the watiing list and we will go from there. Thanks for your interest.

No stripe with solid maroon helmet. Looking at a few options without any major editing, I think that it looks best if the logo and helmet are both flipped so the facemask is on the right hand side. |

Reminds of of the Redskins (yet another reason for it to be excellent with Jeeber as a rival), but it has a Gopher kind of look to it that I like.

Did Cuervo actually put some finishing touches on that or where you just thanking him again for the helmet? If he actually does some logo work (aside from the helmets) that would rock if he could make a logo for El Paso using the same Rocket that's on the helmet...
