Sorry I didn't set a list for my third rounder, didn't expect it to come around so fast. Making my pick now...

I hate that drafted players aren't automatically removed from your draft list queue.

Sorry... told y'all I'd have a limited schedule these two weeks... but better to stretch it a tad bit... you know for preseason games .

As odd as this is to say, most of these picks have been kindof obvious to me. I'll have a subset of a couple of players left when it gets to me but, for the most part, I've taken what the draft has given as an "obvious" best player available. Kindof like the drafting version of the run-and-shoot

Don't get me wrong- I had to decide between 4 QBs, 2 RBs, and a handful of WRs just now, but in the end, the decison seemed easy. Housh vs V Jackson was my only "tough" decision so far.

I'm sure it's going to get sketchier from this point on, tho.

FYI, here's who's up

4.06 42. The FOFC All-Stars Waiting On The FOFC All-Stars For The Next Pick
4.07 43. Callous Dowboys
4.08 44. Gridiron Warriors
4.09 45. The Insomniacs
4.10 46. Callous Dowboys
4.11 47. All On Black
4.12 48. Sal's Transgenders Pre-Draft Selection Made
5.01 49. Sal's Transgenders
5.02 50. All On Black
5.03 51. Lathums Brew Crew
5.04 52. The Insomniacs
5.05 53. Gridiron Warriors
5.06 54. Callous Dowboys
5.07 55. The FOFC All-Stars

In honor of my most recent pick (LenDale White), I'm doing a shot of tequila.

I almost took White, but I just couldn't pass up Maclin. Very happy to get an Eagle to root for on my team.

I'm going to be out most of the evening, running errands, as I have to be in for work at 11:30 for a couple of hours and can do it then. That said, if it gets to me tonight, I'll have a pick sometime tonight- it just may be in the am hours

In the process of making a list, tho, so maybe it won't matter.

My pick was just made. Welcome to the team, Cedric Benson. I now have 3 Bengals and am clearly banking on Palmer turning that offense around.

I'm going to shut the timer off. Feel free to make your picks... feel free not to make your picks. This is going a little quicker than I remember from past years. Next year we should probably start a week later than we normally do.

The clock is back on with Saldana up to pick. We were supposed to be at a two hour limit starting today, but I'm going to run it at four hours since we're moving a little quicker than anticipated.

Very happy that Sanchez lasted to my pick. I thought after his first pre-season performance that I may have waited a round too long to get him.

Saldana just got stuck with two more TEs because they were at the top of the ADP rankings. He now has three on his roster. Sorry bud.

I think a lot of people are expecting to play a 3rd WR instead of a TE...I guess we will see which strategy works better!

Yeah, you don't have to play a TE and most 3rd WRs are better than a TE, hence the lack of TE picking

Exactly. I don't think I've drafted or picked up a TE ever in this keeper league.

Same. I mean, it would be one thing if, say, circa-2004 Tony Gonzalez were sitting out there at this point- he'd be worth more than a lot of 2nd WRs and even some #1's. But he's not

Then again, some of the TEs picked now are going to do better than their WR counterparts across the season.

You can't play 4 WRs though. You can play 3 WRs and a TE (though only 1 RB). I only have 3 RBs, I have 6 WRs, and I didn't see anyone left at any major position that interested me, so I grabbed a TE since he's decent. I'm pretty sure that's the first TE I've drafted in the past 3 or so years.

Either way, it barely matters. I can't remember a season where I didn't dump someone on the back end of my roster early on.

Yeah, that's definitely true. But almost everyone is going to be playing 2 RBs. I think it's pretty rare to see a RB, 4 WR set in this league.
