What happened to C. Frye? Was he injured or just replaced already?

Can someone tell me in what context Kellen Clemens got into the game for the Jets in? I see he's 1/1.

Cutler's numbers aren't terrible, but he's been off on quite a few throws (even passes he's completed) and is struggling to hit his guys in stride. He was pretty damn accurate with his throws last season once he got in, I'm guessing that he has some opening day gitters.

He's been a lot more accurate than it appears. He's missed some guys, sure, but he's made some incredible throws as well. He's now 17-28 for 227 yards and a TD. And Denver has close to 400 yards through three quarters. We should have more than 12 points, but that's the way it goes. Bills 14-12, approaching the end of the third quarter.

Pennington sustained an ankle injury. He's back in and hobbling, but he had to hop off the field and get it taped up. if you ask me it's going to come out after the game as something relatively ouch. More than just a rolled ankle.

I say lots of things 4 or 5 times a year, but I don't think I say that. I've seen Denver teams play bad and suck when they shouldn't. But to give up that many draws for first downs on third and longs in one series is about as inexcuseable as it gets.

Wow. Imagine that. They throw a screen to Lynch on a third and four and Champ Bailey decides he's had enough of the BS and torpedoes him. Let's make Champ the DC.

Nice punt from the Bills (whose special teams units are destroying the Broncos today). Denver ball on the 12 at the start of the fourth.

I think Greg Lewis is trying his best to tell his coaches that he doesn't want to be the punt returner.

Nice debut for Adrian Peterson, getting extensive playing time after Taylor got hurt. 19 carries, 103 yards and a 60 yard TD reception.

Also, fun to see Favre pulling things out of his ass.

Looks like they listened. J.R. Reid just returned this punt.

Elam misses another FG. Denver simply throwing this game away. 3:32 left. Buffalo ball, up 2. Denver has 2 TO left. A couple first downs and this game is over. Time to step up defense. Please?

PS: Thanks Marshan, we LOVE it when you run out of bounds after a 2 yard gain. That helps.

So do incompletions. Buffalo goes 3 and out. Losman missed Evans for what would have been a TD. High risk play though. Denver is going to have the ball back with both time outs left and 2:25 on the clock.

Anybody watching the Dolphins? what a weird play with 0 seconds in the clock. Desperate long bomb thrown by redskins QB to the end zone. Miami was in all prevent defense, the ball is just over Taylor in the end zone, he jumps and tries to intercept it, the ball rebounds hard on his hands and goes back to the 5 yards line, Randle-el caught it in the air and ran to the end zone to be finally stopped in the 2nd yards line with zero seconds in the clock in what could have win a game winning TD and the stupid play of the week.

Denver wins the football game. Jay Cutler converts 2 fourth downs, and a 3rd and 10 with 22 seconds left. Elam hits the game winner with 3 seconds on the clock on the snap of the ball.

Broncos dominated the football game, but came away with the W by the skin of their teeth. I'll take it anyway I can get it.
