Two things.
First, yes, the deadline is not going to move at this point. Sorry for the confusion. Secondly, thank you for the recap, hoops. I sent my master sheet to the office this morning, but it does not seem to have arrived.

Wow, bad weekend to be out of town. I'll have to remember in the future to not go away on a weekend before the game starts. I'm here and done with my Monday morning meeting. I find it interesting that people are revealing their animal. We have a few specific animals for roles, and it will be easy to narrow those roles down if everyone is so free with their animals... |

Path, a couple of quick questions:
1. Can we assume that Pilkington shows up as evil on Snowball's view? 2. Does it take any action for the bad guys to "activate" the sympathizer? Or, to be more direct, do they retain their kill for that night action in addition to gaining Minimus? 3. Just want to clarify - the sympathizer was randomly generated among the ordinary villagers/animals, not all animals, correct? Cannot be a special role like Clover or Moses? |

Sorry I have been kind of quiet. We moved last week and spent all weekend unpacking, etc... plus, I am on dial up right now because the phone jack in the office doesn't work so we can't get our DSL untill they come today to fix the jack so I am not as eager to log on and check the thread.

I'm not really upset that you voted for me. Sure, I would prefer that you vote for someone else, but I was just trying to mix things up a big. Nobody deserves a vote on day 1, so it is pretty much unfair to whomever gets kicked out early. |

1. Correct. Pilkington would show up as evil if viewed by Snowball. 2. The sympathizer will be activated automatically once a revolutionary is killed. The revolutionaries would retain their night kill for that night. 3. Correct again. The sympathizer currently believes they are a Barnyard Animal.

Since Lathum has since checked in and I was wrong about the deadline, I was already thinking about switching to Anxiety, since he kind of oddly defended Lathum after I voted for him. Sticking your neck out for someone else is kind of a strange thing to do on day 1, so that has stuck to me in the early going. |

My bad. I had been looking at hoops' vote tally and saw Bek's name on it, but looking at it again, it was b/c DC had voted for him, not because he had voted. |

But geez, it was just post #98 when I said we hadn't heard from Lathum, Bek, and BrianD! Then 8 posts later, you come in with the same type of comment, leave one out, and throw in a vote as well? I understand the mistake but...well, there's not much else to go on Day 1. |

I didn't defend Lathum, I attacked you. You could have voted for anyone and I would have still voted for you. So, not only do you jump on someone who is not checked in early, but then you also misrepresent what I say. Seems fishy to me. -Anxiety

I thought the vote was due last night and wasn't sure of my availability the rest of the day, so I voted for one of the handful of players who hadn't checked in yet. I explained why I voted for him in the post I voted in and, a few posts later, I acknowledged that I was confused about the deadline. Why is that any more fishy than picking a name out of a hat, picking the hottest player, voting based on prior games' results, or any other useless reason to vote for someone on Day 1? On the other hand, you attacking me for making a first vote against someone that had no votes up until that point, is fishy. |

Not a claim. A fact that is pretty apparent. It is also a fact that you strangely came out of nowhere to jump on me--maybe you know something about me or Lathum that caused you to do that? Hopefully, if anything good comes of this, it will divide the rest of the crew to vote for one or the other of us and leave a voting trail. That way, if I get lynched, it won't be for nothing. I am, in all likelihood, out until close to the deadline, if not after it. Should be some interesting reading for me to catch up on when I get back. |

no worries, conflag. Like I said, I have to vote for someone. No one has a particularly good reason to vote for anyone on day 1. My vote will probably change anyway once we start seeing a couple of candidates break out of the pack.

Well, we have anxiety getting ganged up on by 2 of the 3 2nd place vote getters...getting interesting indeed...considering swapping to realdeal to make it even more interesting. I think the closer this vote is, the better. Hopefully ones a wolf and we force their hand a little...not sure yet, but my retalitory vote on grey means nothing and unlike many other people i dont hide on day 1.

I would love to keep an eye on this race (especially since I am in danger), but I'm off to dinner and class. Hopefully we'll learn stuff from today and have a more lively round tomorrow.

Blade, I'm going to be voting between Anxiety and Swaggs at this point.
Didn't figure I would end up as the last non-voter with this much time between now and the deadline. But since we are at that point, I'll probably hold off until I can actually do more than skim the afternoon posts. I'm hoping we have something here - and I don't let myself get hopeful on Day 1 all that often. |

vote Blade Hey, why not blade? He's in the race, too. Why not vote for him? He's right in it. Hey, let's mix things up a little bit. Hey, I want to pk three or four villagers real quick before people get sick of me and kill me off. Hey, I can be like blade, too. Hey, you know he's acting really suspicious, talking to bek in the thread like a teenage girl on the phone after school. Hey, look Blade has two votes already, why not him? |
