Divisional Round

Miami at Jacksonville

After we start the game 3 and out, Jacksonville easily takes the ball right down the field and scores a TD on a 3 yard TD pass. Thankfully we start out own impressive drive, picking up two first downs to get to the 41 yard line. On the next play, Haag throws a short 9 yard pass to Calvin Johnson, who then breaks tackles and goes 50 yards more for the TD. Things are looking food. A Haag INT late int he 1st quarter is negated by a Jacksonville fumble.

End of 1st Quarter: Miami 7, Jacksonville 7

After the fumble, we start at the 45 yard line. A few first downs get us to the 13 yard line, where Haag finds Calvin for a 13 yard Td. But wait, we are flagged for offensive holding. After a run, a broken play, and an incomplete pass, Tynes misses a 36 yard Fg and we come away with no points. Ugh. Jacksonville takes advantage of the gift and races down the field on the strength of Ronnie Brown, who always plays well against us. We hold them on a crucial 4th down and force a FG to make it a 10-7 Jags lead. With 3:20 left, Haag tries to answer, but gets intercepted at midfield. Jags QB Greg Winslett quickly gets his team in position for a 24 yard FG, which they hit for a 13-7 halftime lead.

End of 2nd Quarter: Jacksonvilel 13, Miami 7

We only manage 1 first down on our first two possessions of the 2nd half. Meanwhile, the Jaguars take advantage of a stupid facemask penalty and a 25 yard completion to Doug Gabriel to set up Ronnie Brown's 13 yard TD run. Suddenly it's 20-7 and our offense is struggling. Finally getting some movement late in the 3rd quarter, we make it to the Jax 32, but Haag is intercepted trying to force it to Calvin. The rest fo the 3rd quarter as neither team can really move the ball.

End of 3rd Quarter: Jacksonville 20, Miami 7

Once again, we get some decent movement into Jacksonville territory. On 3rd and 11 at their 46 yard line, Haag comples an 8 yard pass. With 9:30 left and 4th and 3 at the Jax 38, Head Coach Blaine Begian makes a mindboggling call and punts. Needless to say, I will be speaking with him about this during the offseason. After the touchback (only an 18 yard net punt!!), Jacksonville grinds out the clock with Ronnie Brown. By the time we force a 4th down, there is only 2:40 left and a 48 yard FG gives the Jaguars a 23-7 lead. We go out on downs in the next drive and the game is over.

Final Score: Jacksonville 23, Miami 7

End of Season Notes:

*Haag once again put together a good statistical season, throwing for 3323 yards in 13 games, with 24 TD's, 12 INT's, and a 90.6 QB rating. Still, his inconsistent performances have doomed us in the postseason and I'm beginning to think the WR corps is making up for his weaknesses. The only problem is if I let Haag go, who do I get? It would be a big risk.

*Andre Johnson and Calvin Johnson make for the best WR duo the Dolphins have had since Duper and Clayton. They combined for 148 catches for 2353 yards, and 19 TD's.

*No Dolphins made 1st or 2nd team honors this yearm but Calvin Johnson is listed as Fastest Man in the league.

*Update on QB Kyle McComas? He was inactive all season long and has now only attempted three passes in 4 years, after being the #1 overall pick in the draft. Ouch.

Offseason Notes:

*T Bryant McKinnie and OLB EJ Henderson have retired from the Dolphins. Both are replaceable.

*Notable league wide retirements include: QB Daunte Culpepper, WR Plaxico Burress, QB Aaron Brooks, TE Jerramy Stevens, WR TJ Houshmandzadeh, DE Julius Peppers, WR Chad Johnson, WR Roy Williams, RB Ronnie Brown (thankfully), WR Antonio Bryant, TE Kellen WInslow, S Troy Polamalu, and RB LaDainian Tomlinson.

*Promising RT Jerry McIntyre gets sent to the summer league.

*All of my big names are locked up this year, so no need to franchise.

*I'm able to keep both my Offensive and Defensive Coordinators without a fight

*I have the 4th lowest ticket prices in the league despite considerable success the last few years. I raise them a little bit which puts me at 5th lowest.

Free Agency

*Once again, I look at potential trade offers, compare them to QB's available in the draft, and determine that Haag will be with us another year.

*DT Justin Harrell is the only major cap casualty. I picked him up as a high priced free agent a couple years ago, but his play no longer warranted the $8 million tag he came with. With only one year left, it made sense to cut him to make some space.

*After renegotiations, I have $14 million to spend in free agency.

*I go after All star OLB Rondell Atkins, but the Colts are offering him way too much and I'm not willing to compete with their offer. Instead, I get a decent OLB Archie O' Donnell and resign OLB Pina Tinoisamoa.

*G Cornell Tanner is my biggest FA signing. He's the best Guard in free agency and only allowed 4 sacks in 512 pass plays last year.

*DT Dave yager is signed to a 1 year, $1.9 million deal to fill the backup spot left vacant by Harrell.

*CB Justin Miller and Rufus Sommer are slightly above average players who will compete for the #2 CB spot.

*Over the past few years, I have been trading away draft picks to save money for free agency. With my cap situation in much better shape now, I will be able to use these picks this year. I have 11 picks, including two 2nd rounders, three 4th rounders, and two 5th rounders.

1(26) - QB Sammy West, New Mexico
Why on earth would I draft a QB after Haag just went through his best two seasons as a QB? Well, i'm still not sold on Haag due to his high INT numbers and his inconsistent play. I have a feeling that his overall numbers look good due to the receiving corps. Besides, I did not like any of the other players available at the positions I need (OLB, T, DE) and this guy has maxed out potential in most categories. I figured he was worth a shot.

2(9) - DE Pete McGowan, Syracuse
I need a Tackle badly, but the group of Tackles available are all about the same, and I think at least one of them will slip to my next pick. This guy has the potential to be a stud DE, which I haven't had since Jason Taylor left.

2(26) - T Derrick Fulton, Minnesota
And I finally get my Tackle. Fulton has great potential at Pass and Run blocking, while the other guys are more specialized. I actually think this guy was one of the best looking Tackles in the draft, so being patient really paid off for me here.

3(23) - OLB Terrence Geppner, Stephen F. Austin
Geppner has the potential to be a great run defender and covers pass routes very well. He's not a very good pass rusher, though, but I think he will make a very good backup OLB as a rookie.

4(7) - T Jeffrey Reid, West Virginia
This guy will be a real project, as he is only 13% developed so far. But if he can reach his potential, he could be terrific late round find.

4(25) - S Brett Qaderi, Kentucky
A good run stopper and also has a knack for grabbing INT's. I always like guys like that as backup Safeties.

4(26) - DT Bubba Rasmussen, California
Is very low on endurance, but I don't usually pay that much attention. He has decent potential as an all around DT and shoudl be good enough to give the starters a breather every now and then. Plus, who wouldn't want a DT named Bubba Rasmussen?

5(20) - MLB Emmanuel MacCracken, Stanford
Buried deep int he 5th round, I find this guy who shows amazing potential. Could he be the next Zach Thomas?

5(25) - OLB Corey Parris, Missouri
Another interesting project player. Has nice combined numbers for someone stuck this late in the draft.

6(24) - WR Hunter Dotson, Wyoming
This Wyoming boy runs a 4.46 40 and should be good enough to be the #4 receiver.

7(26) - RB Brian Kay, Rice
I need another RB to fill out the roster, so I give this guy the surprise last minute phone call.

Not very happy with my rookie class. None of them are really ready to start, although Derrick Fulton will be forced to anyways. Most of them have lots of green bars that might never turn red. QB Sammy West might have been a big mistake, but Haag came out of camp looking better than he ever has, so maybe it lit a fire under his butt. I'm really hoping McCracken can live up to his potential

Thankfully, we made it through preseason unharmed. To start the season, we are #2 in the power ratings.

Week 1 - NY Jets 37, Miami 21

And this is why I'm looking for another option at QB. Haag opens the season with an abysmal 12-32, 151 yard performance. Our run defense also gets lit up, with two Jets RB's going over 100 yards.

I said Haag was frustrating, didn't I? He follows up last week's debacle with a 23-29, 289 yard, 2 TD, 0 INT performance. Defense is still suspect, as Chicago puts up 409 total yards on us.

I really hate playing Jacksonville, and I can't even blame this one on Ronnie Brown, who is now retired. They absolutely destroy us. Haag has a terrible game, and we only manage 32 rushing yards.

I really don't know what to do with Haag. He goes 21-28 for 302 yards in this one. Why can't he do this every week? Calvin Johnson has his first 100 yard game of the season. The defense is still playing like crap.

This game must have a thing against the Dolphins. In all my previous games and this new version, most of my seasons I have trouble stringing a bunch of wins together. Seems you have the same problem with your QB as I have with my whole team in my dynasty. I had a chance to take a commanding lead in the division and I win one and lose one.

Both Calvin and Andre Johnson go over 100 yards in this one, but that's the only highlight for us in anothe rmiserable performance. Casey Snyder earns the starting job back from free agent Jeff Davis.

I guess I need to tell my guys that we play once a week, not once every TWO weeks. Haag is 25-33 for 292 yards and 2 TD's. The defense is adequate, but forces three turnovers that prove to be decisive.

Thankfully the bye was on an odd numbered week, so the team forgot it was supposed to lose this week instead. This week our offense put together and astounding 507 total yards, keyed by the combined performances of the Johnson brothers who totalled 20 catches for 327 yards and 3 TD's. Haag tried to give this one away with 3 INT's, but Andre Johnson's 30 yard catch in OT sets up a 2 yard TD run to win the game for us.

The team finally seems to be clicking as we destroy the Raiders 41-15 for our 3rd straight win. The defense put together it's best performance of the season, only allowing 240 total yards. Haag had an extremely efficient afternoon, going 20-24 for 275 yards and 2 TD's. This moves us in a tie for the AFC East lead with the Patriots, setting up a huge showdown next week as the Pats come to Miami.

Haag makes Tom Brady his bitch. While Brady went 18 of 41, for 264 yards and four INT's, Haag torched the Patriots for 377 yards and 3 TD's. 178 of those yards belonged to Calvin Johnson. The secondary had a great day, as each of the starters managed to grab one of Brady's picks.

I really hate losing to the Jets. Ugh. Haag commits four turnovers in this one and the defense is once again exposed. The sad part is we had several shots to tie this up in a scoreless fourth quarter, but could do nothing. Now we are 6-4 on the season, tied with the Jets in the AFC East and they win the tiebreaker against us.

Frustratingly, we lose another close one and are in danger of missing the playoffs. We were able to move the ball in this one, but Minnesota controlled the clock, holding the ball for 36 minutes and preventing us from making a comeback.

A much needed win puts us into a tie with Indianapolis for the last wildcard spot. This game was opened up late in the 3rd when Haag found Calvin Johnson for a 72 yard TD pass to break a 17-17 tie. Haag was 15 of 19 for 229 yards, and is now having the best season of his career.

It's always good to have the Lions on the schedule when you're in the middle of a playoff hunt. This one was a laugher all the way. Haag was 23 of 26 for 271 yards and 2 TD's. He also threw to 9 different receivers. Detroit managed just 192 total yards.

We win another close one against the Bills. Haag struggles this week (10-23, 174) but it's the running game that saves us. Casey Snyder runs for a 3 yard TD late in the 4th quarter for the deciding score. Snyder and Davis combine for 148 rushing yards, our best output of the season.

Good News - At 9-5, we are now in a tie for 1st place with the Jets (with the Pats one game back). We also have the lead in the wildcard race, with four teams one game behind us.

Bad News - CB Ellis Hobbs, one of my best defensive players is out with a broken jaw and will not be full strength for 5 weeks.

The defense plays an inspired game with CB Ellis Hobbs missing. Safety Ron Bartell and CB Justin Miller both comes up with 2 picks. Haag has another efficient game (19-26-234-2 TD-0 INT) and the running game looks strong for the 2nd week in a row.

Amazingly, at 10-5 we still haven't clinched a playoff spot. A win will get us in no matter what. But a loss could eliminate us since there are three 9-6 teams fighting with us for those last 2 wildcard spots. And our last game is a visit to the brutal December weather of Foxboro.

We put together a very ugly performance at Foxboro. Nothing seemed to go right. When we finally got some momentum in the 2nd half to cut the score to 20-7, the Patriots marched right back down the field to answer. Haag had an awful game and Brady exacted some revenge against our depleted secondary.

The good news? All of the 9-6 teams (except New England of course) lost, giving us the last wildcard spot.

The bad news? We travel to New Jersey to take on the Jets, who have already beat us twice this season.

2014 Playoffs - Wildcard Round

Miami Dolphins at NY Jets

The Jets get the first possession and proceed to run it right down our throats. Runs of 11, 24, and 21 yards set up a 20 yard Chad Pennington TD pass for 7-0 Jets lead. Thankfully, Haag seems to be on his game. He avoids a 3 and out by converting a 3rd and 8. Then he finds Andre Johnson for 23 yards. This sets up a 33 yard Tynes FG to make it 7-3. On the next series, the Jets start to blow through us again. They convert a 3rd and 3 on a 15 yard completion, then follow that up with a 16 yard completion. The defense comes up big by sacking Pennington and forcing two incompletions. The Jets punt and we get the ball at our 20.

End of 1st Quarter: NY Jets 7, Miami 3

Haag continues his great play. He completes 7 consecutive passes, the last one being a 7 yard TD pass to Andre Johnson, giving us a 10-7 lead with 12:24 left in the 2nd quarter. The Jets pick up one first down, but the defense once again forces a punt. We get the ball again at the 20 yard line. After a penalty and sack, it is 2nd and 20 at out own 10. Jeff Davis peels off 10 yards on the an end around play. On 3rd and 10, Haag finds Calvin Johnson for 22 yards. Davis has another big run and Haag finds Calvin for 11 yards, putting us at the Jets 11 yard line. The Jets defense finally comes alive and forces another Tynes FG, making it 13-8 with 2:59 left. The Jets start off their next drive with a 17 yard run, but a penalty and sack set up a 3rd and 13. Pennington is picked off by S Michael Griffin, who returns it to the Jets 40 yard line. Unfortunately, we can only get 7 yards on the drive, but Tynes come up big with a 50 yard FG to make it 16-7.

End of 2nd Quarter: Miami 16, NY Jets 7

I don't know what happened to the Jets, but the team that sliced through us in the 1st quarter suddenlt can't manage a first down. Their next three drives are 3 and outs. Meanwhile, we dominate the field position battle. One one series we are able to puin the Jets at their own 1 yard line. When they punt back, we get it at their 35 yard line. Haag enjoys the short field, and two completions later, it's a 23-7 lead. The Jets go 3 and out two more times to end the 3rd quarter. That's right. They didn't pick up a single 1st down int he entire 3rd quarter.

End of 3rd Quarter: Miami 23, NY Jets 7

The Jets finally get moving in the 4th quarter, converting 5 first downs and making it to our 10 yard line, with 1st and goal. however, back to back false start penalties doom their drive and they settle for a FG, making it 23-10 with 9:01 left. The next series is pretty entertaining. Starting at our own 36, Snyder and Davis wbegin to work the clock down. We make it to the Jet 43 yard line, where their defense makes a huge stop to force a 4th down punt. Hilariously, they are offsides on the punt, giving us an automatic first down. Thre eplays later, Jeff Davis runs for 9 yards on 3rd and 9. The drive would eventually be killed when Haag threw an INT at the Jet 12 yard line. But at this point, there was only 2:42 left on the clock. Their inept two minute offense could only make it to our 41 yard line before the clock expired.

Final Score: Miami 23, NY Jets 10

Numbers: Haag 21-30, 197 yards, 2 TD, 1 INT
Jeff Davis 17 carries, 63 yards.
Calvin Johnson 7 catches, 85 yards.
Andre Johnson 3 catches, 38 yards.
Donnie Jones 5 punts, 4 Inside the 20.
Chuck McNiven 6 Tackles, 3 Assists, .5 Sacks
DT Claude Wroten 4 Hurries, 2 Knockdowns

2014 Playoffs - Divisional Round

Miami Dolphins at Cincinnatti Bengals

As is usual, our defense takes some time to get prepared. The Bengals convert four 1st downs on their opening drive, until we make a good stop on 3rd and 6. This forces the Bengals to try a 44 yard FG which is good for a 3-0 lead. We complete one first down but then have to quickly punt. The Bengals come right back down to our 17 yard line, where a sack by DE Everett Brooks stops their drive and forces another FG.

End of 1st Quarter: Cincinnatti 6, Miami 0

Two big plays highlight our next drive. Haag finds Calvin Johnson for a 25 yard gain. Then two plays later, he finds Calvin again for a 32 yard gain. Jeff Davis would finish off the drive with a 1 yard TD run, giving us a 7-6 lead. Unfortunately, we make ahuge mistake on the Bengals next drive. They make it to our 41, but a big defensive play by S Levon Rayburn forced a punt. Sadly, we were called for a running into the kicker penalty, which gave the Bengals a 1st down. Two play slater, on 3rd and 4 from our 30, Bengals RB Devin Kendrick ran around end for a 30 yard TD. We showed some character ont he next drive, thoug. With Calvin Johnson drawing double coverage, Haag has several completions to Andrew Johnson and Hunter Dotson. The drive stalls at the Cincy 29, but we convert the FG just before halftime to make it a 3 pt. game.

End of 2nd Quarter: Cincinnatti 13, Miami 10

Scary moment on the first play of the 2nd half. Snyder runs for a 12 yard gain, but Haag goes to the turf with a hamstring injury. They say it's minor and he remains in the game. Haag gets right back into it and completes passes 18, 11 and 15 to the Johnson brothers. On 2nd and 11 at the Bengals 22 yard line, Haag finds backup WR Tony Osburn for a 22 yard TD and a 17-13 lead. We trade punts for the rest of the quarter, although Cincinnatti is getting more movement and is starting to win the field position battle.

End of 3rd Quarter: Miami 17, Cincinnatti 13

Cincy starts their next drive at midfield. On 2nd down, Carson Palmer finds Tito McElroy for a 31 yard completion. The drive stalls after this but they convert the 44 yard FG to make it a 1 pt. game at 17-16. We trade punts again, and get the ball back at our own 31 with 9:50 left. We are able to chew off a significant portion of the clock. The key play is a 3rd and 16 where Haag finds Calvin Johnson for 21 yard gain. Calvin beat two defenders on this play. Then there is a very controversial play. On 2nd and 9 from the Cincy 19 yard line, Haag finds Tony Osburn for a 19 yard TD. However, the refs call Osburn for offensive pass interference. With only 4:59 left, this TD would have been huge, but now we have to settle for a FG and a 20-16 lead. This next drive is embarassing. On 1st and 10, we stop their runner cold, but an Unnecessary roughness penalty gives them 15 yards. Three plays later it is 3rd and 8 at the Cincy 37. Palmer finds Winfred Bell for a 43 yard completion. The defense gives up at this point. Two more Palmer completions result in a TD and a 23-20 Bengals lead with 2:14 left. One last chance for the Dolphins and we've got 84 yards to go. Two incompletions bring up 3rd down, but Haag finds Osburn for 24 yards. Two more incompletions bring up 3rd down. Haag converts again, finding Hunter Dotson for 10 yards. We now have the ball at midfield and about 17 yards from Tynes range. On 1st down, Haag's pass is incomplete. On 2nd down, Haag is sacked. On 3rd and 13, Haag is hurried into a bad throw, bringing up 4th and 13 for the game. But wait! We are flagged fo runsportsmanlike conduct. So now it is 4th and 28. haag tries to get it deep to Calvin Johnson, but the ball falls incomplete and the Dolphins lose.

Final Score: Cincinnatti 23, Miami 20
Alex Haag 26-43-297-1 TD-0 INT
Casey Snyder 6 carries, 36 yards
Jeff Davis 9 carries, 1 yard, 1 TD.
Calvin Johnson 6 catches, 112 yards.
Andre Johnson 8 catches, 82 yards.
Tony Osburn 3 catches, 59 yards.
Pisa Tinoisamoa 9 Tackles, 2 Assists
Everett Brooks 1 Sack, 2 Hurries

End of season notes:

*I drafted a QB in the 1st round, and Haag responded with hsi best season ever. He completed 63.4% of his passes for 4216 yards, 28 TD's, and 13 INT's. This was good enough for 6th in the league in passer efficiency (96.5).

*And what of that 1st round QB? Well, Sammy West finished the year rated 16/51 by my scout. This is not much better than Gary Wonders, the other QB. His green bars still look pretty impressive, but I'm not sure he'll ever achieve them. I will likely try to see what trade value he has in the offseason.

*Calvin Johnson finished the year with 89 catches, 1635 yards, and 10 TD's. This was only good enough for 2nd team honors.

*S Ron Bartell made 1st team honors after coming away with 88 tackles, 34 assists, and 5 INT's this year.

*Of my huge rookie class, only RT Derrick Fulton finished the season as a starter. 2nd round pick DE Pete McGowan (5/23) is the biggest bust in any FOF career I've played. The only others to receive significant playing time was WR Hunter Dotson, a 6th round pick who had 33 catches on the year, and OLB Terrance Geppner, a 3rd round pick who had 25 tackles.

Offseason Notes:

*TE Randy McMichael and TE LJ Smith have retired from the Dolphins this season.

*Notable league wide retirements include: T Matt Light, RB Cadillac Williams, FB Cory Anderson, TE Dallas Clark, S Roy Williams, RB Larry Johnson, S Ed Reed, K Jay Feely, T Robert Gallery, OLB David Pollack, QB Donovan McNabb, TE Jeremy Shockey, QB Marc Bulger, OLB Paul Posluszny

*All my coaches are locked up for the year.

*RT Derrick Fulton gets sent to the summer league.

*Nobody to franchise. Andre Johnson is the best player that I don't have signed going in, but I'm not paying $9 million for a 13th year WR.

*QB Gary Wonders gets the axe. I have enough underachieving QB's on the roster as it is.

*RB Brian Kay, T Al Wendt, and DE Pete McGowan are also told to go home.

*I resign Andre Johnson to a 2 year, $8.45 million deal and Tony Osburn to a 2 year, $1.98 million deal and keep all four WR's from last years squad.

*I bring Casey Snyder back for another year. His ratings totally don't deserve it (31/31), but he has put up very respectable backup numbers over the years (2891 yards in 4 seasons, over 4 yards a carry) and is one of my favorite players.

*I miss out on a stud DE who went to the Raiders instead, but was able to get a decent 2nd option in Neal Dawkins.

*I also show some love to the defense by resigning OLB Archie O' Donnell and picking up DT Stanley Prescott, who has great pass rush ability.

*The RB carousel continues as I sign RB Ron Duncan, the best FA back available. He'll take over for Jeff Davis.

*TE Broderick Cohn will take over for Randy McMichael, who had been my starting Tight End since I started the dynasty (and in RL, several years before that).

*Now for the most controversial decision. Eventhough I drafted Sammy West last year in the 1st round and Alex Haag had the best season of his career, I still sign the best free agent QB. The guy is Wesley Robinson, and he's rated 42/51. He was a former 6th round pick who started one season as a rookie, throwing for 3653 yards, 26 TD's, and leading his team to the playoffs. He never got another chance to start after that. He doesn't throw as good a deep ball as Haag, but he has better accuracy, better mobility, and much better timing. He will compete for the starting job this season. And he only cost $2.74 million for 2 years.

The Draft

1(26) - G Howard Dotson, Stanford
Guard was not really a major need position, but this absolute stud was just sitting there. I couldn't resist. This will help add some youth to my OL, and hopefully he can team up with Derrick Fulton to make an OL of the future.

2(25) - CB Alan Tjandranegara, Rutgers
Is weak at defending the run but has the potential to be a great shut down corner int he future.

3(27) - OLB Larry Hawkes, Notre Dame
One of the weakest positions on my team. This guy is a team leader and is listed as Very Underrated. He went to Notre Dame, but I won't hold that against him. At least he'll be fired up after what was surely an embarassing bowl loss to end his career.

4(26) - DE Marty Noetzel, Virginia
This guy was listed as Underrated, has nice looking potential bars, and is 53% developed. I hope he can make up for my recent failures and DE draftees.

5(25) - G Arnold Ellard, Monmouth NJ
Underrated guy with nice potential sitting in the 5th round. Another "value" pick.

6(27) - DT Ralph Bush, Texas A&M
A good run stopper who might earn a starting spot in goal line situations.

7(26) - FB Clyde Samuels, South Carolina
I need a backup FB and this guy should be able to at least handle blocking duties if necessary.

Well, preseason wasn't very kind to us as I have 6 players out for the opener.

I liked the scrambling ability Robinson showed in the preseason, but Haag played extremely well and has kept his starting job for now. However, I have lowered the requirements for replacing him if he struggles.

What a fantastic way to start the season. Haag goes 19-28, 284 yards and a TD. Calvin Johnson catches 6 passes for 122 yards. Ron Duncan comes upw ith 100 yards in his Dolphin debut and Snyder has 49 yards on only 7 carries. The defense looks much better this year, sacking JP Losman 5 times and recording 5 hurries and knockdowns.

The defense doesn't show up this week. Brady Quinn has 288 yards and 3 TD's,. with two receivers going over 100 yards. Also JB McElroy runs through us for 122 yards. With only 21 minutes of possession, our offense just wasn't able to keep up.

Good read.

Any chance you can post a picture of Haag's card?

The 2nd straight embarassing loss to the Patriots. The offense only manages 184 total yards as Haag threw 3 INT's. The Pats ran the ball 40 times for 200 yards. Wesley Robinson will get his first start next week.

Robinson didn't do much running himself, but his presence seemed to impact the running game. Duncan and Snyder combined for 181 running yards, while Robinson was 12-19, 120 yards and 2 TD's. Meanwhile, the pass rush was back this week. They only recorded one sack, but got 8 Hurries and 5 Knockdowns. Most importantly, WE BEAT JACKSONVILLE. They have torched us every single year since I traded Ronnie Brown. It looks like the curse is finally over.
